I'm a guy, and I just matched with a girl on Tinder that I had previously "super liked". It's my first match of this kind, and it appears I liked her first.
Now, she is super hot, we went to the same uni, and like a lot of the same stuff (student organizations and the like, things <1000 people have liked on Facebook in total). I study abroad, and I'm just home for christmas, so I leave the country in less than two weeks. I really want to meet up with this girl before that. Even if it doesn't lead to sex, I can chat her up when I get back.
Based on what you now know, how can I start talking to her without fucking it up? I'm not super awkward, but I'm not very good at Tinder conversation openers.

I have a bad habit of picking the skin off my lips, which makes them chapped as hell and whatnot.

I'll make this as detailed but not long winded as possible
I met a guy on another board and we became close friends on snapchat. Talking every day. Exchanging pictures. Flirting. Made plans to meet, as friends (I've been very clear with the platonic factor even though we cross the line a bit ) He has two girls he's not seeing but in a semi fwb situation as he's not really ready to be in a relationship. I understand and was always clear I wanted friendship as well due to that even though the lines do blur...
The meeting? He cancelled the day before, with no concrete reason given. Was a bit upset but moved foward..
We started voice chatting on skype. Hours and hours and really enjoyed each other's company...it stopped about a month ago. No rhyme or reason. He refuses to do it. Why? No reason given. He's not busy or the most social. He will listen to music on youtube. He will game and chat online. Made plans to meet again. A week before meeting? HE cancelled again!!
Of course by now, I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time. We still talk. He seems distant though and says he's "not feeling social lately" but we do still talk. He will game online for hours but not Skype :/
My girlfriends said drop him as hes not who he says he is or has a girlfriend (which explains the abrupt cancellation) or catfishing. I have seen snapped in the moment photos of him but aren't there programs that can upload a picture to snapchat? No, we haven't video chatted on skype. He refuses to even touch the program now. He says we will meet "soon" and be patient. Patient for what? A herpes outbreak to clear up? A relationship to end? What?? Is he catfishing? Not interested? We're friends. Why can't friends hang out? He said some comment about it being like a gay best friend situation...but I've never treated him as such. We are affectionate...
I outright asked him if I should continue on with this friendship or just end it and he's always clear on keeping it going.

I know invading people's privacy is wrong but the few times I check my girlfriend's phone, I find stuff I don't like to see.
When I first met her she claimed all these mental disorders as an excuse for her to act as she pleases. I (thought) I had her convinced that you can't just self diagnose yourself with this kind of stuff, especially having never even seen a professional about it. I told her that it was all in her head and that she has no mental disorders unless she thinks she does. So eventually she agreed and said she was overreacting the whole time and I never heard of these things again. Until I decided to check her texts...
Another thing that bothers me is how she confides in me about very private things she claims to tell no one else and goes off to tell an upward of 3-4 people without letting me know.

I was talking to one of my female friends this morning from college and she told me that when she first met me my dorm was "too clean" and it was kind of suspicious. Is that really a thing? "It looked like nobody lived there." My last girlfriend was pretty messy andwe didn't get along well when it came to the conditions of the apartment. I probably do a "deep clean" with actual sanitation once a month.
Now that I've graduated this is my first time living on my own so the 2 bedroom apartment is pretty clean too. I have decorations, plants, TVs, speakers, and furniture, so it's by no means barren. My mantra has simply been to put things back when I'm done with them.
If I bring a girl home from the bar, does being clean and organized really put off bad vibes??

That being said, I've seen a lot of guys that weren't even that great in any way that were total slobs get plenty of ass...I think there's maybe something disarming about a messy room, even a pigstye.

My wife and I have been talking about a divorce because she doesn't feel loved or wanted. We have been together for over five years and we have a three year old daughter together. To my mind, this is such a simple concept yet everytime I see people responding to yes/no questions, they begin new tangents, present new questions, and, overall, just avoid the question which began the entire conversation. Am I being overly demanding in asking people to stick to appropriate responses to yes/no questions?
