Long story short, several months back things ended with this guy I dated. The last time we talked was when we basically said goodbye. There where no drama or anything involved, but it was clear that that conversation was our last and we don't stay in touch, even casually as friends.
And now I got a short message from him. Nothing personal, just "well hi."
And ehmm, I don't know. I feel like, that by answering I'm swallowing my pride cause at one point in time I was a bit too excited and clingy I think, which probably turned him off. There was a history of him not really returning to my messages.
But, the thing is, I've been thinking about him all these months. Every single day. I haven't contacted him or anything so I haven't literally obsessed over him, life has went on, but I can't deny my feelings. I really did like that guy. We never had sex, so it's not like he was some sort of an abuser and now just contacted me cause he'd want sex.
So am I going to reply?
Part of me says no. But, I don't know. If it was any other guy, I'd feel neutral about that, but in this case, that message gave me a little heart attack.
I just don't know whether I should reply or not. What do you think?

My girlfriend has been crying over extremely small things that I say more often than normal lately, such as when I said that "I feel like you've been more sensitive lately to what I say to you, is something wrong?"
She's becoming way more sensitive out of nowhere when she's been normally relaxed and distant from what people say, and I can't get her to explain why because "she doesn't know". Then all she wants to do is have sex afterwards.
Can someone please explain what the fuck? I know she isn't pregnant, so that's ruled out. Also, how do I get her to stop crying so much when I'm a loving and caring boyfriend?

Best advice I can give you is that /adv/ will not be able to accurately diagnose this. Sounds like a mental disorder of some kind to me, but I'd let a professional suss that out.

WTF is wrong with my tongue? I practice good oral hygiene and I don't have AIDS. I can scrape and brush it off with a bit of effort, but it comes back within a day, and my tongue feels dry the entire time until it comes back.

I really don't get why people smoke, I tried smoking a few times and i smoked en entire cigarette like 5 minutes ago and i didn't get any enjoyment from it, but i see a lot of people who do it. Even my best female friend and good male friend smoke and i really don't see any reasson to start smoking other than peer pressure,wanting to look cool or to stick it to their parets so i wanted to ask someone to explain to me why would someone start smoking and do they get any enjoyment from it.

It depends, usually I'll split with my girlfriend unless it's a really fancy place and I'm treating her. Sometimes I'll pay for a meal and she'll pay for the next one. My girlfriend lost her job recently so I paid when we went out earlier this week, and when I first started dating her I paid for dinner dates, however they were/are usually $30 or less. The most I've paid for both of us is $50 and we've been dating for a few months, we go out about 2 times a week.

Wondering if I fucked up or not. Dating a girl 3 years. Love her with all my heart. However, she does a few things that make my life shitty as of late.
1.) Super lazy. I do a 80/20 split on housework but she never does her 20. I can think of one time in the past 8 months.
2.) Kind of leading on the first, I do legit everything. Cook, clean, pay bills. Take her to and from work. This would be kind of ok if I didn't also work 30 hours a week and have a full load this semester.
3.) She has the sex drive of a stack of envelopes. Not too concerned about this by itself, but she will put the moves on me then back out midway when she realizes shes not actually horny.
So the above added up plus something fairly trivial into me laying it down. I told her how all that makes me feel like shit yada yada. She apologizes and says she will work on it. Fast forward a week and she is still doing all the things she said she wouldn't.
So, I told her she should probably go stay with her folks for a bit until she is serious about trying. I had to hop in the shower since I had work soon. She was gone when I got out.

First off, I had the same problem but mine is slightly worse. so I'll give the advice that I cant seam to take and apply.
Let her go and if she doesn't come back you will be better off.
If she comes back and hasn't had an attitude change in less than 2 weeks, dump her.
Its really important you don't let her drag you down.
I never kicked my girl out. Now we have been together 3 years and she hasn't paid a single cent on any bill anywhere whilst living off me.
And I cant leave her because I feel responsible for her and her happiness, if I leave she'll be homeless and have nothing.

Could I sue this company? I have a close family member who is a lawyer. She funded a specific type of event for me a few months ago (she invested, i organized) , without getting too specific this other company was putting together a nearly identical event, very to the date of mine. Theirs was first so Im not saying they copied me at all. But they told people on social media lies about my event to lure people to going to theirs instead. I've been getting bullied by them ever since and they talked a lot of shit. But I just want to know if I could sue them for this? I spent a lot on my event (not gonna say how much but it was well over 5k usd) and lost a bit of money afterwards (i made back about 80%) so I was thinking I could blame them for this. Might cause a lot of drama but they stress me out a lot and I just want it to be over.

Lawyers charge hundreds an hour, they're not going to suddenly say you don't have to pay them because they're a family member, and even if they give you a discount, it'll still be more than you can afford by the looks of it.
