Only you can decide if you really want to put up with this or not. But judging from what you wrote, it really sounds like you aren't compatible. You want to go out, she doesn't. You get bored when she keeps you in, she gets mad when you go out. Can a relationship like this really work in the long run when you both want vastly different things? Do you have the patience to work it out? Is she worth it to you?

No you're being perfectly reasonable. It is unreasonable for her to expect you to shut down your social life to accommodate her completely. Actually, it's a bit of a red flag.

You've both got to compromise. You skip some raves sometimes to be with her because you know she doesn't like them, and she either sucks it up and goes or she learns to deal with you going to them alone sometimes and just trusting you.

But honestly if you really like her, I'd say you should push her to seek help for her condition because it's very treatable. Counseling, psychiatric help, and various medications can all help her. There are even anti anxiety medicines which are not addictive and do not get you high.

I did 3 years with a Samsung Chromebook (the ARM one) running Arch with crouton. Then I used a thinkpad x201t with Debian. Anything that I couldn't do on my laptop I'd do at home

In short please don't spend over $1000 on a laptop. If you must you might as well by a MacBook pro and call it a day. The 2015 Chromebook pixel is pretty sleeper, /g/ just doesn't know yet. You can pick one up today, new, still in box for $400 when they retailed for over $1000

If you let out the clutch slowly it won't jerk as much. That's what I do, at least.

Rev up the engine to as near as you can estimate the revs will be once the clutch is engaged on second gear. Say you are traveling at 50km/h in third, at 2200rpm, to slow down, let off the gas and disengage the clutch. Revs will drop to idle. Put it in second gear. Rev up to about 3500rpm no need to be exact the first time, just give it 33%-75% gas for an instant once you feel and hear the revs jump get off the gas. Now release the clutch pedal to engage the clutch.
Practice makes perfect. No need to brake to slow down in normal traffic using this, but if for some reason you want to drive fast, you need to do all this while also braking and maintaining stability throughout since you are approaching a turn.

Go outside, get whatever exercise you can bring yourself to do.
A walk around a park for 30 mins can make a difference.

Cook/buy yourself something nice to eat.
Not a carb+fats ready meal.

Give yourself small specific goals to achieve each week and each day.

Challenge any intrusive negative thoughts you have about yourself.
"If I can make someone smile then I can't be completely worthless."

Get away from social media bits and meet up with friends/people in meatspace.

If you don't have a job go volunteer, walking dogs at a shelter or something.
Feeling useful is such a game changer.
