I met this gorgeous girl downtown. We exchanged numbers, sent a few hundred texts back and forth in a single night just getting to know each other better. I'm in a serious existential funk and need help
After some introspection Iv'e come to realize that I procrastinate my responsibilities because I'm scared of exposing myself to the world and being turned down, scared of working hard and coming up short. So I avoid "work" whenever I can.
Iv'e been on and off depressed since I was 14. For the past 5 years Ive been smoking pot daily (up until 2 weeks ago). I was using it as an escape and it made me okay with being bored.
Part of me is just fine sitting at home and being a lazy waste but I have shit to do in my life: A career to build, fat to lose, passports to get, places to go, girls to date.
There's adventure in my heart. But today I havnt left my bed besides taking a piss or licking peanut butter off a spoon.
How do you over come apathy? It's entirely possible it stems from a lack of respect for myself but how do I find respect for myself?

So I had been talking to this girl a lot for the past two months, but recently she has been do distant. I can tell she still likes me a lot, but then she'll ignore my message for the entire day until at about 11 P.M., in which she'd comment "Hi!?", as if I have been ignoring her. I always say something about why she doesn't reply, but she just replies with "o", then we'd Skype.
Yesterdsy, I messaged her in the morning. I asked her what's up, and she still has not yet replied, but I see her posting Istagram photos. I'm honestly annoyed by this shit and I'm not one to make an effort after this, and I don't imagine myself doing so.
It doesn't bother me, because I'm really moving on, but it's a bit rude, which brings me to my next question. Should I message her and ask her why she keeps ignoring me? I'm really curious to find out.

So I met this girl about two months and everything's been going great. I've taken her out a few times and even surprised her this week with theater tickets which made her get emotional because this is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for her. At around 26 or 27 years old, I got fed up with my life. I wasn't doing anything except playing video games all day and being a NEET. I had been doing this since my dad passed away after high school.
I signed up for college, found a place that was willing to accept me with generous scholarships. Now I'm in my last year of school.
But I'm starting to become depressed. I am 29 and I will be 30 soon.
What's bothering me is that whole "you'll become a wizard if you don't lose your virginity" thing. I feel ashamed about it. It's making me really depressed and anxious. I have zero social skills and I live with my mom. People tell me to lose it to a prostitute, but I don't have my own money or independence. It's not like I can go travel to Amsterdam.
