The girl is trash.

Rather than end it herself like a mature person, she's trying to split the responsibility of ending the relationship by having you do it "in front of him". And when that happens, half (or more depending on how irrational the guy is) of the fault will fall upon you, and she gets off with a lot less stress, yelling and the other stuff that is supposed to come with a break up.

Enjoy your second hand garbage. She isn't even mature enough to simply end a fucking 5 year relationship with the reasons that she has already obviously stated.

The fact that you find it "kinda fucked up" yet still want to go about it doesn't make you much better than her in this situation, so you two were probably made for each other.

Also I see your points, but the relationship hasn't been ruined from the beginning (5 years), but slowly died since the guy just degenerated instead of improving. I think everyone has the right to search for happyness in his life, and to improve in the partners he has. If you get one guy or a girl for longer time that doesn't mean you have to spend the rest of your life with him/her.

Gain your independence. It will be overwhelming, but it will also be the greatest experience in your life.

You just need to find a trade that will keep you satisfied and fulfilled while making this big life step. I recommend carpentry.

It sounds like this is a good assignment for working on those written communication skills, particularly as an ability to communicate effectively by email is so important in today's world. However, as you're clearly having trouble with it, you may need some extra time. I'm not one to advocate academic malpractice, but perhaps a little white lie might be in order: just drop the professor an email pretending to be ill, and see whether he won't give you some extra time to work on it.

extraction friend saves the day. without him you're stuck dealing with her for as long as she wants. i cant stress enough that you are not to engage her questions. she will try to 'logic' you out of a break up by claiming you are wrong about things, as if this will change feelings.

when you leave you block on facebook and on text and any other stupid social media networks you might have. you do not make any contact with her for at least three months. by then you will be level headed enough to explore the possibility of friendship IF YOU WANT but i dont recommend it.

Instead of university, which is expensive and leaves you poorly equipped for the real world, have you considered trade education? Nobody will judge you for your social skills learning carpentry, and you're left well prepared for a great career.

I knew someone in school whose scedule was full of extra curricular activities from elementary school to graduation and she was incredibly unhappy.
