Hey, /adv/. I know medical advice usually is best for doctors, and I have gone already, but every time I try to google the symptom I can't seem to find anything to even be able to find any results for people having this happen to them; just some assistance on what the exact symptom is would help.
For the past couple weeks I've had mono; I've been on leave for it, just resting right now and heading back to work on Monday. Most of the symptoms are fading, but last week I had something kind of odd happen with my hearing.
There's been a sort of weird undertone in what I'm hearing, for anything between an A2 and an E3 pitch (around a lowish male speaking tone). I first noticed it watching a twitch stream and thought there was something wrong with a commentator's mic; then I realized it was around everything. It makes people sound like they're a computer or a bad YuGiOh villain.
I recreated what the last sentence sort of sounds like to me in Audacity, starting after the semicolon. It's like there's an additional pitch a half-semitone under what I'm hearing: http://picosong.com/AC9s/ Not exact, but close. (Kinda hard to tell when I'm hearing it on my own recording...)
I have gone to my physician about this during a mono follow-up - my ears are clear. He did say it's possible for auditory nerves to get inflamed due to bad viruses, and he said he remembered something similar happened when my father had Guillan-Barre syndrome (though my dad doesn't remember that happening). He said it should be fine but to monitor it and come back if it doesn't go away. I'm not horribly worried about it, but has anyone heard of this or had this happen to them? How long should I wait until I go back?

Sounds like tinnitus. Have you been exposed to lots of loud noise over your life? It could also very well be related to the infection. You could always see an audiologist (hearing specialist) or an otolarygnologist (ear, nose, throat) and see what they say.
So I take it you're musical, since you described your tone being in a certain octave range.

When my tinnitus really kicks in, I lose the ability to hear that frequency briefly. I literally hear it drop out of reality and into my head, drives me crazy. For the most part though, I have a high pitch in the background that can be masked by white noise.
If yours is due to noise, the high frequencies go first, so it's probably not from noise. An audiologist can test your hearing. I think an ENT can do this as well, but they should also be able to determine if it's infection-related.

I screwed up some formatting shit.
What should I do?
Won a ticket to a big festival (like coachella) and i'm very happy about it since I didn't have enough money.
Now it's only one ticket, and I don't want to go alone.
My boyfriend doesn't have enough money to come with me, so I'd have to invite him, and he already feels bad that I would have to buy a ticket for him.
The tickets are around 200 dollars, I could buy a ticket but it would take a toll, so I have 3 options.
1. Go alone to a festival (not so fun)
2. Invite boyfriend, convince him its allright and spend cash
3. Sell my winning ticket
What should I do?

How the hell do you deal with inconsiderate parents that make noise literally 24 hours a day. My dad has to eat fucking non stop and at 2 am I just hear him walking back and forth to the kitchen slamming the microwave door shut every 30 seconds. They spray their room with enough febreeze to kill an elephant and they leave their door open all the time so everything smells like cheap tropical breeze. My mom wakes up at 6 and slams her door 10 times and walks back and forth past me 10 times and I hear her randomly take 2 steps outside and make all the floors squeak then she just walks back inside and slams the door.
My dad then wakes up at 11 and he goes back to slamming microwave doors and stomping around. My dad has a weird ocd obsession with the fire stove like autistic levels and the second he wakes up every day he starts fucking with the stove and it's loud as fuck. They cook nasty ass food and smoke cigarettes around me all morning so it's all I can fucking smell.
If I try to go to bed early my dad fucks it up because he's inconsiderate as fuck and he stuffs his face all night and if I try sleeping in they both ruin it by being loud as fuck. I hate them. I hate them so fucking much

How do you deal with really stupid co-workers that you are friendly with?
I work with this older lady who is really sheltered an ignorant, but can be nice. For example I sent her a link to an article about those strange night time noises in Oregon and the headline said something like "NOCTURNAL NOISES BAFFLE RESIDENTS" and when she reads it she says "Why do they say "nocturnal"? Can't they just say "at night"?" With a real pissy, indignant tone of voice.
So I say "What's wrong with the word nocturnal?" And she says with this sound of disgust "Usually thats just for talking about animals or bugs!!"
That really made me want to lash out at her and tell her what a braindead asshole she is for saying that, but I didn't because it would hurt her feelings.
What should my strategy be when she acts like a fucking retard?

If that's the direction you want to take things in, yes. You can't know until you ask and if you want a more committed relationship but she doesn't that's something you want to find out sooner rather than later. This might be a bit of an odd question, but what is the best way to rustle together a Miku costume in a very short time?
