I have been told for years I need to write an autobiography. Now it's been in my dreams and everywhere. I really would like to but I'm worried people do not read books that much anymore.
I do not mind attracting an older audience but mainly I would like to reach those my age and younger.
Any suggestions on how to do this. I have thought of YouTube but I worry about how my looks would be perceived as I tell my life stories.

I've spent about the past decade of my life getting away with doing nothing. Now that doesn't fly so I need to turn my shit around. I know what I need to do (as in what tasks must be finished) but I just can't fucking bring myself to do them regularly, if at all. I've been in a pretty bad depression for a few years now, so that plus having never formed good habits results in this situation.
How do I get any amount of motivation? I've never felt as bad as now, when I can see a problem and the solution but feel completely unable to do anything about it. I spend most of my days feeling like I spectate my life, not making any decisions. When I'm home I do nothing for hours, or just go back to sleep. Realizing the consequences of this behavior doesn't do anything me. I've had a few times where I try working with to-do lists, seriously telling myself that I'm going to get a routine, etc. but it just never happens. If anyone else has dealt with this kind of thing before I'd like to hear anything about how to get out of it.

I feel like it's the most common symptom of depression. Also I can tell my life is highly ritualized even though it's without structure. I think the same things in the same places (shower, etc), do things the same way each time, shit like that. I've given up on any sense of agency or free will or whatever.

Hi /advice/
This following spring break will be the first im actually leaving town on my own. Im going to be traveling from Houston Texas to Austin Texas. Im going to be carrying alot of weed on me and i wanted to know where i should stash it in my car and id also like some advice on what to do if my car were to break down ( i have an older car and i dont have alot of money ) so far away from home.

Purchase a bag of socks from Walmart. Choose a brand that has a resealable package, like my pic.

I'm going on a first date with a girl I know from my university. I've known her for about 2 years but only recently got to know her a bit better, since we have a class together this semester.
Anyways, I met her at a party last week and asked her out. I got her number, and I'm taking her to a bar tomorrow.
I like her a lot, and I think she likes me as well, so I don't want to fuck it up.
I've never done this before, that's why I'm asking, but I've been feeling pretty confident as of late, so I hope i don't fuck it up.

Just talk to her. The only real tip I can give is THINK before you speak. Take a real 5 seconds before you say whatever it is you're going to say.
Don't talk about yourself too much. Ask her questions, let her have the floor.

Those are all the same things. Her hobbies are what she does in her free time, and her hobbies are things she is interested in.
Ask her what she's studying and why, talk about the teacher in a class you have together or smth, ask where she's from, if her hometown is out of state, etc.
let the conversation flow. i mean, do you like the girl? then just ask stuff that YOU are curious about. you'll be more apt to remember that way.

So, I have contended that this was a terrible idea again and again, but my mother and I seem to come at arms and she ends the conversation with, "I know better." So, I don't actually learn anything and I just feel irritated.
The argument is about FAFSA. I live in a 3 person household, including myself, my father and mother. The rent here is $5k a month (it's a home). That is $60k a year. We make well over that. So, my mother is saying that I should only input her data (she made $5k last year) when the form asks for both my mother's and my father's information. I tell her this. She tells me it doesn't matter. We go back and forth and finally she says, "Well, I can use your sisters taxes." My sister hasn't lived with us in 6 years, and has her own apartment in her own name. I tell her that's fraudulent. And then conversation ends with, "I know better."
Can anyone give me some input on this? I really don't want to do it. Am I wrong, in reality? I don't mind being wrong but it really seems wrong. She's pushing me to input this data and I'm the one who is going to take the consequences for it, if it's inappropriate.

I want to set up an accurate and presentable resume, but the amount of trouble that listing qualities and skills gives me is ridiculous. I'm unlikeable, incompetent and suffering low self-esteem, and I really don't know how to find the positive qualities I have that DO make me someone worth hiring. I'm not a robot or frogposter. I just need to know where to look.
So in short, I need some advice on introspection. Anyone here able to give that? How do you find the positive things about yourself?

I hate my life. I hate school just the atmosphere and walking through the campus makes me hate it even more. I hate my job its boring as fuck and most of the people are annoying as fuck. I can't stand it and I want to do something about it but I just don't know what to do. Im currently looking to find a therapists to help me through this but the last guy I saw didn't really help. I accidentally cut too deep on my ankle, I can't judge the depth but it kinda spread open (looking like a blood-pooled vagina). It was only like 1 cm long but never had one that deep before. Didn't take pictures.
I pressed the wound with a tissue for a while and taped it shut with a bandaid and it stopped bleeding.
My toes tingle a bit but I feel fine otherwise.
How do I know if/when to go to a doctor?

I'm holding that foot up now (should have mentioned) out of fear that it'll tear open or start bleeding again.
I've donated blood before and I know what blood loss feels like, I barely lost a spoonful from this altogether.

I do the same but escapism isn't healthy. Especially if you are obsessing over someone. Daydreaming is fine now and then but if you're not taking active steps towards making your life closer to your dreams you are hurting yourself in the long run.

Boyfriend doesn't trust me.
Anything I say he just doesn't believe a word of it and it's upsetting. I had a bad relationship before him and sex was a chore so I got good at saying the right things to get him off my back.
