My fiance just got accepted to grad school on the other side of the country. I want to get a job and move out there, but how can I do it? Every job I've had has been in my hometown, with employers I heard of by word of mouth.
How do I look for a job in a place I've never been, where I don't know anyone or any of the businesses, where I can't walk in for an interview?
If it matters, I work in IT and currently make about $48K before taxes but cost of living is much higher where I want to move.

I've been NEET for over three years now, and I've never had a full-time job. I have around $3000 CAD in my bank account, as well as $3000 or so in investments that I could take out; I also have a mother who would be more than likely willing to help me out financially, if need be. A very good friend has been wanting to move out for awhile now, and if I move out with him, we'd be splitting a rent of around $1100. Do you think this would give me the motivation to get a job and join society? Maybe the feeling of independence would help me? Because right now I do not feel like I'm 24.

Hey guys, I live in Tennessee and am gonna go to one of the Technical College of Applied Technology's near me to sign up for a trade to start in the fall. It is between 2 or 3 things I think. I was thinking about either Welding, Electrician, Hvac, or Automotive Technology. As of right now I have really no skills in either of them, but I like the thought of being an electrician because I think the wiring could be really fun and I do want to make good money and have a secure job. I have a toxic family member that is really fucking with the immediate family. They got worse when they received a laptop this Christmas and completely flipped out doing weird shit to us. The person is very mentally ill and tries all kinds of threats to us. He threatened most of us by leaking our SSN's online as broad as he can if we piss him off, Then told his mother that he know murderers and a hitlist and would put her name on it. He mocks her death daily like a joke. He clearly acts like he wants to be around me, but his body language says else.
Recently he claim to be an elite hacker and stays on his computer the whole time in the house. Whenever I get a glimpse of his screen it is always some scripts running, Metasploit I guess because they have a bunch of hacker software sitting right on their desktop. So far they tried an attack on my phone and succeeded in getting photos and made the phone factory reset remotely(no Lewds thankfully). But I saw his amazon purchase list and saw a bunch of purchases for small spy cameras.
I feel really uncomfortable around him. He already hacked my mother's bank account for half of the purchases. When the police got involved he threatened the cops that he knows a hitlist and would put them on it. They didn't take him seriously and gave him the benefit of the doubt as mentally ill.
It's been a week so far and the same shit is spewing from him. We're thinking of getting the laptop back from him but it might not undo most of the shit he's done.
I don't know what to do but feel that this person is too dangerous for me to do anything about. I'm afraid to use the home wifi. I watch my bank account constantly. It is a pickle of a situation. Thoughts?

How do I develop a personality?
I'm a dull cellist who doesn't really know how to react to things or keep up with popular topics or media. Just got a job in sales because I have a knack for faking being a normal person until the conversation begins to go somewhere, I know just enough to be a decent salesman.
I don't know how to express myself. I posted the other day about writing a symphony (an entire fucking symphony mind you) for a girl I met a bit back but some anons kindly pointed out how creepy and unnecessary that would be, it would only alienate her. It makes for a decent foot note though.
Any advice?

Yeah, look up the debtor's anonymous spreadsheet. I downloaded it and it's pretty nice. It's just an excel spreadsheet with some built in sums and functions, but it beats building it yourself and is very handy if you actually use it

Yeah, sertraline/zoloft is known to give people insomnia. It's one of the listed side effects.
Personally I take mine at night and don't have a problem. I used to have really terrible insomnia, basically throughout my entire life, but it somehow started getting better when I started taking sertraline (not necessarily at night, but I mean at all) so ymmv. Now it only takes me 1-1.5 hours to get to sleep instead of 3-5.
