My boyfriend is 6ft 7 (12 inches taller than me) and I started thinking recently about the logistics of sex with a much taller guy. For example, I have a single bed which he will definitely too big for so I was thinking that we could do it in my parents bed and change the sheets or something. I've come to the conclusion that I hate my current study, I've had eight subjects of which only one interested me a bit so I have decided to stop my study.
The deadline for the next studies is the 1st of May and I've been visiting a lot of info days about different studies, asking what subjects it entails, how the tests are laid out etc.
Onto my main question, I've noticed that some of the subjects are the same subjects I sort of struggled with in my high school and I was wondering whatthe best way would be to prepare myself for those subjects.
Should I purchase/download the book and do some prep work in advance? Should I go over the basics again in my high school books?
Looking at you Statistics I and Basic Chemistry. The study revolves around plants so it mostly focusses on the energy cycles, redox reactions, that sort of stuff

Depends on the subject... find a good source that's not hard to learn from. There's free things like Khan Academy, other youtube channels, websites etc. You can also torrent any paid books/online courses with a good $5 VPN.
It's not about the amount of material you get your hands on, it's more about your ability to work through each of the basic concepts, understanding them and making a note of it for later.

I'm mostly afraid that the important basic knowledge I learnt in highschool has sunk away after a year of studying a totally different subject (law).
My dilemma is if I should relearn from my last high school books or I should do a little bit of research to refresh my memory and take a gander at the material from which I'll learn in college in order to be prepared and so I can ask questions about the more difficult parts of the course.

I'm gonna assume that you're afraid of being judged by people that you meet/socialize with and letting you know that that isn't entirely true. As you age, you will realize that it isn't worth the time and energy to be completely self-conscious about your flaws. I'm not saying that you should develop an attitude of "lol dun give a fuk wut peeple think," but you should really mellow out and realize that people aren't always so judgmental.

It takes time to find people that share some of the same philosophical and moral beliefs as you do, but it would be rare not to find one nearby. If you get to know someone better, you may find that you are able to relate to them on some degree. If you can't initially find these people, you're going to have to take some initiative. If you're in school right now, go look for clubs, events, or other social gatherings that interest you. I understand if you aren't really that extroverted, but in order to relieve some of your social anxiety, you have to take some initiative of your own.

Hi /adv/, I stopped drinking about 5 weeks ago while I went on a diet. The thing is, I'm an alcoholic. It hasn't been too bad, but for the past couple of days, and especially today, I'm really craving alcohol because I'm SO fucking bored. videogames and TV aren't cutting it, I've already worked out for the day, no one's around to do anything.
What do I do to cut the desire to walk downstairs and open a bottle of wine, or head to the store and buy a case of beer? This isn't as much of a problem during the work week, but weekends are really getting to me.
I get to start drinking again in about a month and I really want to work on my relationship with alcohol too... it can't be something I drink just because I'm bored.

I went for an interview at Starbucks but after weeks of not hearing from them, I assume I didn't get it. I'm having conflicting thoughts about what jobs I want and I am self-aware that I'm being very picky.
I will settle for minimum wage. But I'm not confident in working at a place where I work with food. Not only that, but I feel like working at fast food places like McDonald's is degrading. I don't want to tell my family or friends that I work at a fast food place.
In short. Can I get a red pill on working at fast food? Maybe I'm being too paranoid and there's no way I can fuck up. Or that I should swallow my pride and easily keep a secret about my job

Starbucks is just as bad as McDonalds, yeah. Why not look into retail? It can be pretty comfy as an entry level gig. I'd give an arm and a leg to go back to working part time retail at 19, some of the best times of my life.

Why do people do this?
We all know it's a lie. The ones who write that, the ones who read it and the ugly person itself, they all know. Even if it's just the social facade, one thing is being educated and another being an outright liar.
I'm not saying ugly people should have their comments filled with the truth, no. Of course telling to some stranger "Hey you're ugly as FUCK" is rude", but why not just stay silent? Why not praise something else? Why not just ask "hey you had fun there on (place)?" It's not like anybody is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to write something about them.
If it's to showcase others how much of a good person you are, isn't this accomplishing the exact opposite? If everyone knows you're lying, you're but a phony. You get no points, no one will think you're nice, you're just letting you ugly side, your lying side, your fake side out for everyone to see. Isn't it obvious? Am I in the wrong here? If these people are the masters of socializing, then why do something so obviously fake?
It just feels like the social equivalent of The Emperor's Clothes. Maybe that's the answer? Everyone knows it's a lie, but play pretend? But again, why do it, there's no king to cut your head because you don't HAVE to lie.
