I suffer from bipolar disorder. I am also in a relationship.

I don't take any meds (if I had to get a diagnosis, I'd have to leave my field of work), but recently I started having a mixed state, and as a result mentally I've been all over the place.

I have a boyfriend who cares a hell of a lot about me. We've only been dating for a few months, but we've been friends for years. This is my first real relationship I've had in about 5 years. However, I can see that this is absolutely killing him. I don't feel that it's fair on him, but he always tells me that the benefit is that he can sleep safe knowing I'm okay/safe/not contemplating self harm or suicide.

I've hit a dilemma: I want to be with him, but at the same time, surely it would be best if I broke up with him, so that he wouldn't have to spend all of his time worrying about me (as he currently does)?

Help, what should I do?

So done with school, done with studying irrelevant facts. Landed a chill job (I'm at work now) and have my own income, life is pretty good I guess.

Now, how do I find a girlfriend and possibly someone to start a life with? I'm out of school and haven't got a girlfriend which is bad I suppose, as pretty much all my friends are already in long term, serious relationships.

I have a lot of stomach issues, just got a colonoscopy done and they've verified that I am without a doubt experiencing muscle spasms though the causes are unknown though they could be due to IBS (irratable bowel syndrome). I've heard that marijuana can help with these spasms but I want to do some research on a couple of things before I partake in said drug. I've had some experimentation with it in high school but that's about it. It's never been a part of my life and I never grew fond of it. I'll also be going back to college and I don't want to be inhibited.

1. How does it affect learning ; for context i'll be taking dental hygiene, so if it effects different parts of the brain like the prefrontal cortex that deals with language and mathematics I won't be taking mathematic courses (if that is at all useful information)

2. Supposedly the concentration of THC needs to be quite high to help with the spasms which is quite the deterrent for me, are there ways to recieve the same concentration of THC but not experience as much of a high, I'd like to go to class as least high as possible

3. What frequency throughout the day would I have to partake in the use of marijuana in order to feel it's full medicinal properties. Again being high 24/7 is extremely unappealing to me.

4. Are there any anecdotal effects that you personally have felt?

5. Does anyone have any alternatives/experiences with colon spasms / IBS?

I will attend an interview organised by my uni soon. They use this as a criteria to select people to go on a Spanish language exchange trip. What kind of questions should I expect them to ask?

Should I reveal the fact that I did a lot of self-learning by myself? I only took a beginner course at uni (I'm a freshman), but I did a lot of self-learning by myself. My Spanish friend can understand my text messages although my Spanish probably looks weird as hell to him. I also learned to roll my Rs. I am thinking about minoring in Spanish just for fun (it is unrelated to my major).

HEy there is is a guy in my work that is acting like he is a boss. The problem is he isnt, he is the same worker as me but he is telling stuff like "nobody is working here", "there are only lazy people (while he dont do a thing all day)", "Ther are not enough good people" etc. He is even comparing the performance of people in workplace and making a theatre about it. Also when he come to work he is telling stuff like "previous shift dont do anything lazy fucks" (so he is basically complaining that when he comes to work he have to work, logic=0)

What to do with this kind of man? Almost every single worker there hates him...

So I have a crush on my coworker, we talk to each other once and a while during breaks and what not and she seems to like me. How do I go about asking her out or without spilling my spaghetti? I'm 20 and I've struggled with social anxiety for almost my entire life and this is a massive step for me.

In my shitty speech 151 class, I did an awesome speech on how to cure hangovers. The teacher loved it, but when I was getting back my graded speech today, 96/100, she said she wanted to hang onto a hardcopy of MY speech only, because she said "it's a popular topic that is often sold"and that she needs to check it for plagiarism.
It's mostly my own work, but had a hard time with the intro and googled it and pretty much copied some of this dude's intro essay that's for sale on some site.

Am I fucked? She's kind of a this old hippie teacher that only asked ME out of everyone else. Is it hard to plagiarize-check a hard copy?

There was a girl from last year that went to the same college as me and we had mutual attraction and things didnt end up working out. We recently reconnected, and we were snapchatting and she said that she still finds me attractive. After this, she has been contacting me less and less. Why the fuck do grils do this?

I got over a teacher crush I had back in high school. Now I feel like I wasted so much time fantasizing about him. All the pain and misery is unnecessary. How can I feel better about the time I had wasted dreaming about a teacher crush?

I've a got a problem. At home my IP is banned and I don't know why (my entire village i using the same ISP and the same public IP) but i'm banned for posting something illegal. How can I unban myself? I already appealed but got denied. I can lurk but I can't write anything which really annoys me because i want to normally partcipate in threads also I can't avoid this ban because I can't change my IP. Is 4chan pass the only way?

This definitely doesn't deserve it's own thread, but it's a question that I need answered because I can't look at it objectively.

I applied for a contributor position at Clickhole last month and was told I'd hear back from them "by the 15th of March." I got the rejection letter, with no special comment, on the 15th exactly.

Is that a good sign or a bad sign? As on, was I totally forgotten about, was I one of the last to get cut, or did they just keep everyone on hold until the deadline? I need to know just how badly I failed.

I (male) have a best friend (female) who I see at least four times a week (Monday - Thursday) , from 2 - 6 hours a day. Today, we hung out with one of her friends (her brother's friend) for the second time. She and him are Co workers so they see each other often too. To be very clear, she does NOT see him as someone she can get in a relationship with, just as a friend.

We met up, and hung out for a while. In this time, she and him were talking for most of the time. Afterwards, we went to eat, and while we were ordering, she sat with me like always. However, we had to wait for our meal, and whilst waiting, she decided to sit with him. The wait took approximately 15 - 20 minutes for our food to get ready. In this time, they both continued to talk and disregard me, she made herself more comfortable (layed on him, was playful and talkative). Once the food was ready, we had it to go and went to eat at a park. She continued to talk to him even more thought that time. Afterwards, we all went our own way and that was it.

What I'm concerned about is if I'm losing a friend. Lately, she hasn't been as 'close' with me. I can't remember the last time she has been as playful or talkative with me as she was with the other guy, or the last time she rested her head (or herself) on my arm, chest, stomach, legs, etc. She referred to him as a younger brother, and the same day she rendered to me as a "good friend". We've been friends for about two years now, but I'm worried were aren't as close as we used to be.

Maybe it's because they haven't hung out together in a while, but I feel like she is becoming closer friends to someone else, and I'm losing that friendship.

What do I do? Do I just talk to her about it, or am I worrying too much? Or is there anything else I should do?

I'm very socially conscious and very "woke" or whatever. I know a lot of nasty facts about life, society, etc. I think about it a lot, and it makes me miserable. Nothing really alleviates that misery. Not being an annoying advocate online, not being an irl advocate, not spending more than I can afford on good charities, not volunteering, not lifestyle changes or careful consuming, NOTHING.

So I've been trying to just not give a fuck, and doing pretty well. I still have the same opinions, I just prioritize other things, usually bullshit constructs I've been trained to like, and worry about myself first. It's making me happier, but I still feel guilty.

Anyone who has been through similar have advice? Am I doing the best thing? Am I a horrible sell out?
