/adv/, I think I'm an asshole.
When I got off work today, I assumed I was getting a ride to the bus stop from my co worker, so I asked if I could have a ride about a quarter mile to the bus stop, seeing as how it was on the way and just up the road. She got very annoyed, but gave me a ride anyway. Told me not to wait until the last minute anymore, and that she'd see me on Friday. Once I got on the bus I realized how rude I was, and I felt fucking awful. I was doing so well at work up until this point, and I'm worried I just ruined a friendship.
How badly did I fuck up? Am I just a pussy? How do I restore this friendship? I'm constantly around her at work, so I can't just forget about this. I didn't realize I was such a prick.

How study for Physics and Chemistry?
-So guys i am really good on all subjects except exact stuff, i have a poor base [Didnt study when i was 10 to 15].
-I Really like the theory behind on this stuff mainly physics but i get bad grades and i have a problem with focus.

Chemistry: Same thing, try to draw things out and have a clear understanding of positive and negative charges and how they affect each other. Same thing with bonding reactions, understand why and how and you will be fine.
As for focusing, this shouldnt be a problem if you actually enjoy the material. When I took my physics classes which i loved, I was actively visualising everything my professors were saying. However in my History classes I would dose off and be half-asleep. You should find something to build on your passions, maybe this isnt set for you if you cannot focus.

I have a long story I need to tell and would care for some advice from you guys so bear with me please.
I am 19 years old and I work in a restaurant as a line cook. I am very nice to people but I never smile or start conversations so I can come off as mean. I'm not attractive and I'm overweight I've never seriously thought about a girlfriend until recently when this new girl got hired as a server.
When she first started working I never spoke to her because I have bad social skills and don't really talk too much to people I don't know. This girl started working more and more with me and kept thanking me for doing my job and smiling at me.
This goes on for a couple more weeks and she starts flirting with me. She starts calling me love and honey stuff like that even saying I love you (regardless if it was playful or serious). I always responded with beta statements like "oh yeah" or "oh jeez". She started going out of her way to say bye to me and looking for me before I left so she could hug me. I always had the same response "oh my god" I'd say in like a cute sarcastic voice.
One day I was leaving and she asked if I was leaving right then. I responded with "within the next 5 minutes" I went into the office with the Manager to get my paycheck for the week. As I was getting ready to leave the girl I liked came into the office and smiled at me then stuck a peice of paper in my front jacket pocket. When I got in my car I noticed that the piece of paper had her phone number on it with her name. She just gave it to me without me asking or even flirting with her.

I started texting her almost daily. She usually initiated all the texts to me like "ugh tonight was so busy". This went on for a few days and then eventually she started talking about personal things like her family. She had a really messed up life and confessed she's glad to have someone like me to talk to. I kept comforting her and flirting with her via text because I'm too beta to talk in person. We keep having very deep conversations via text but our face to face conversations never go passed "hey" or "how long until my food is ready".

I'm 21 and just got a girlfriend last year. I dated a few girls when I was in high school, but I never had much of a relationship with any of them.
Anyway, me and this girl dated for 6 months, and then broke up. We definitely had some problems (she was controlling, I bottled things up, etc.), but for the most part, we were good. I just didn't feel happy with her and didn't see myself wanting to be with her. She felt the opposite, and was absolutely devastated. I've whined before about how I want to be with someone so bad, and now, the first one that actually accepts me, I drop. I said we had problems, and we did, but we recognized them and tried to work at them. Also, I was able to get along with her well, and we had great times together. She's a good person. I still don't fully understand why, but I just didn't want to spend the rest of my life with her. Is it bad that I want to be with somebody else, even though she was still a great person?

I don't think that anybody could tell you if that is a good or bad thing, to me personally it seems excessive, but that's just my opinion. I think you need to realistically evaluate your habit, and really try to see how it is negatively affecting your life. (not just the action itself, but also the things you aren't able to do because of it lost opportunities and time, etc)
If you see it as a way to relieve stress, maybe you can try to attack the source of the stress, trying to limit your exposure to it, OR try to find an activity or hobby that can serve as the same purpose.
