Okay so I was trying to explain to sister (a normie) about ironic memes and she said "how are memes ironic, you don't even know what ironic means". And so I said I know what ironic I'm talking about the second definition. Like you know, unironicly listening to vaporwave. Or like those super low quality ear rape videos. You get me? Well so she said "just because a lot of people on the internet call it ironic doesn't mean they're using the word correctly" but she doesn't understand that there's two fucking definitions. Anyways, she thinks nobody even says "ironic memes" and "if they do then they're using it wrong". What do you guys think? Halp.

I'm in a position that's really difficult for me to gauge how I should proceed with the situation.
I dated a girl for about a month over the summer, but she told me that she thinks we should just be friend. The reasons being:
>She feels we won't work out on a sexual level, as we're both "a little different in that regard"
(She basically means that she's really into kinky shit and being dominated in bed, and I'm sexually inexperienced and currently experiencing a flatline due to nofap, which has basically killed my sex drive for the time being)
>She also feels that the distance will just hinder the relationship, her new job and me starting community college will make it very difficult
(She lives about a 2 hour drive away, so our busy schedules coupled with the difference would hinder things)
I perfectly understand both of these reasons for ending things. She also told me:

She told me three times throughout the course of our breakup messages that she wants me in her life as a friend. She said she'd understand if I needed space and time or if I never wanted to talk to her again, although it would make her sad.
So I'm at a weird position right now. Since the breakup, she left across the country for 2 weeks for her job training. About 3 days in, she messaged me on snapchat and apologize for us not talking, and said she was busy. We occasionally would correspond, and she would ask be how things were going.
But since she's back home now, she has only really reached out to me once. Basically just a "What's up?" type message on snapchat. She hasn't messaged me on steam or asked if I wanted to play any games or talk on discord, which is something she usually did every day when we were together and even a bit before we dated. She's still online in the evenings after work, but she usually isn't doing anything.
Keep in mind, in 90% of our interactions, she reached out to me first. I would rarely message her first to see if she wanted to do anything. I just generally have an aversion to doing this, as I feel people might be busy. She has also asked me why I never message her first, and told me that she's sometimes uncertain about doing it first. She generally has history of not reaching out to people or having long hiatuses from talking.
My question is, what could this silence mean? Is she genuinely not interested in being friends? Or could it be her wanting space? Or perhaps being uncertain of messaging me first? Am I reading too far into the situation?
Let me know if there's anything that needs to be clarified.

Am I wrong for not wanting help from my friends and family for my mental problems? I've lived the typical beta life and have come out damaged. I've tried to move past it but now I feel sick and lost in time while everyone else moves on and loses their relation to me. The memories that plague my mind everyone else sees as miniscule. They tell me they're here to listen, but they all think my problems are stupid. That's the awesome thing about being a beta male.

Not with that attitude it won't, here's the thing about having supportive people around you, yes it's nice and all but nobody will ever understand your problems better than you because you experience them firsthand. As such nobody can solve your problems as effectively as yourself so if you're worried about the impact or lack of thereof that those around you may have on your attempts to better yourself then it's time you stop relying on them and focus more on exploring your own solutions. What people think of your doesn't matter and absolutely should never stall your progressions in life.
It sounds like what you need to do is get back in touch with your own self and try to pinpoint exaclty what you didn't like before. Then try to find A way to preoccupy yourself so you don't focus on or revert back to your former lifestyle. If you ask yourself what's wrong with me by looking through the eyes of others you'll never find out.

I've(31m) known my significant other(28f) for around eight years now. We dated for three years, separated for five years (during the separation she had a kid with someone else who is now three) and have reconnected and been dating since February. We've been getting along great and I've come to tolerate her son. I play with him and we get along, but I feel no connection to him, but I love his mother and have never felt that about anyone else. About a month ago, my girlfriend calls me and tells me she is pregnant. She said she forgot to take her birth control pills. I'm a little freaked out and state all the reasons why I'd be a bad parent and I'm not ready. We live two hours away from each other, I'm heavily in debt, I have a severe sleeping disorder(delayed sleep phase syndrome), and I've never had much interest in having a kid. I've always valued my sleep due to my sleeping issues and I know how terrible it can be with a newborn. At first she said she wanted to keep it and I said I would respect her decision and move to her small town. I also asked her to marry me. She said yes. I've gotten used to the idea of having a child and know this will probably be my only chance at my age, but apparently my complaining at the very beginning got to her and she wants an abortion now. She thinks I will be a bad father due to my sleep issues and the fact we will have to work full time. I've never really wanted a child but I feel I might regret it if she goes ahead with it and I'll never know what it's like. I could probably talk her into it one way or the other. Not sure what to do.

I'll try to keep it short and sweet. Ex cheated, was generally terrible gf, convinced my cousin I'm an asshole, and I'm positive she's convincing others too. We have mutual friends, girls I hung out with before they hung out with her, all are acting weird about talking to me now. I think it's no coincidence. One of her old close friends is someone I see regularly, she's sucked my dick etc etc etc and ex knows. Ex has lied to her saying we used to have sex all time to make the close friend feel bad because we haven't had sex yet. Close friend also says one of the people she knows at ex's job says that she talks shit about me all the time (We're about a year removed from this relationship). I HIGHLY suspect she's talking trash to this huge friend group of women ruining my reputation with them, some of them being my good friends, or were. I wouldn't doubt she's saying I raped her or some shit. One of the girls in the group recently unmatched me on tinder (she's matched twice with me now) and didn't match again when I matched her. I suspect it's because of this shit talking from my ex.
The girl has no morals. What do I do? The only friends of hers that like me are her closest, which are also the people who probably know her bullshit the best. How do I combat this? And bonus question, what is the likelihood this "big group of female buddies" will splinter and fail? Something tells me highly likely as I've heard that female friendships don't tend to last, is this correct? I'm sure the fuck hoping so, because my cunt of an ex is ruining shit for me.

No, not evil, just a jerk, possibly a rapist. Note that I said those closest to her have no trouble speaking with me and interacting with me, as they know she's full of shit. Also, I think she's a pretty good liar, if you had read the post you'd probably notice that. She convinced her friend that I'm seeing that we were having sex when we weren't. And she only said that to get under her friend's skin.
The one friend I didn't talk to would sing my praises constantly to my face and we were very close, said I was a great person. This was before they knew each other. Now she doesn't talk to me.
My point is, I'm not perfect but I'm not in the wrong here. Am I a saint? Hardly, but I don't think that being a shitty person is even necessary for a girl like this to convince people I'm one. She's talking a bunch of shit and I hate it.

Former COO of a decently successful startup. Was let go along with almost everyone for bullshit reasons that don't really matter. Company still exists but has gone to shit. They don't know I have a backdoor into the files if I want. Years worth of personal work and data that I compiled. I want them back. This company betrayed me. I doubt they'd notice anything out of the ordinary. They'd still have everything, I'd just make a copy for myself. Steps to make sure I'm not found out? Use different computer on a proxy from a distant location? At a time when no tech people are likely monitoring? There are only 5 of them, and they aren't always on. Any other advice on how to do this with a clean getaway?
