I kind of want to leave my girlfriend, but I don't really have a "reason" you know?
Like...I really like her as a person. She's a super sweet girl with a lot of great qualities...but we're 23 & 24 and have been dating for three years and I don't think I have any intention of ever marrying her.
I donno, is it okay to break up with someone without a "reason"? Does that make me a total dick?
pls help what should i do

>I don't think I have any intention of ever marrying her
This is a very good reason.
This is the time of life when you should be finding a person to marry.
She either
A) thinks you're going to get married, in which case you're doing her a huge favor in breaking this news to her ASAP
B) thinks you're not going to get married, in which case a breakup is probably something she's planning on at some point as well
Do it m88
You should have a reason to stay with someone, not the other way around. People seem to believe they NEED to be in a relationship, even if they have no real emotional investment in it. The truth is there's absolutely nothing wrong with being single until you find a reason to be with someone
Well, what is it that you really want?
If you're looking for long-term commitment with an eye towards a traditional marriage, you've already given the most important reason to end the relationship: there's no future there for you two.
If you're just bored, that's OK, too. Ultimately, if you can't give a full commitment or aren't letting your gf know that you're not feeling a strong desire to stay together, it's a pretty solid form of dishonesty to withhold that from her. She deserves to be with someone who truly wants to be with her, just as you do.
But don't frame it as you doing something for her- be manly and honest and gentle with her. If she's not expecting this, it'll probably suck for her, but it would suck more for you to be dishonest about it.
I'd suggest taking a minute and really taking inventory about what you want out of her, and out of life, and out of sharing it with someone. "I don't know" is a legit answer, and it doesn't mean that you should choose to stay with her, if that's not what you want.
Chances are, you already know what you need to do, and are looking for support or justification; forget it. You need to own your decisions, OP. And good luck. Listen to that little voice inside you.
Anal sex really turns me off. I do not have any interest of sticking my penis into someone's pooper.
Am I alone in this?
Importantly, I've been dating a girl who has been asking me to do this. Any advice?
This is a blue board, asshole
>>17089467
lol such a simple yet effective pun
>>17089467
That's hardly a NSFW image.
Current crush of mine wich I spent most of the times with at uni last two months called me esterday afternoon, I was in class so I couldnt pick it up texted me yesterday that she and I wrote her text saying whats up. Shortly after that she replied "I'm just kind of drunk and stoned with Lucy at the park and I just wanted to say that it'd be nice if you were here :)".
We are really having some nice times when we are together, do you think that the text indicates there's something more going on? She never sent me a text like that before.
Well, she was under the influence of behaviour altering substances, but there's usually a grain of truth in them. It's quite possible
>>17089448
which*
why didnt you just drop everything to trip with her?
lsd with a special lady is otherwordly
I hate him. How do I break up with him?
Pic unrelated
It's easy if he doesn't live with you. Just send the poor fuck a quick text.
cut his balls

Fuck his dad. Works every time.
Is it better to be a middle class person in a country like Finland(which Im assuming is a first world country) or to be rich in a 3rd world country (somewhere in Southeast Asia)
rich in a 3rd world country
no its not as bad as people say, laws are just more relaxed so corruption is rampant
people is so friendly though
>South Korea
>3rd world

Why don't you post this on /int/? It doesn't belong on /adv/.
I just had sex with LITERALLY the girl of my dreams and now I'm sitting here pretty sad knowing we'll never have a relationship and afraid it won't happen again.
How do you cope with this feeling?
Why not OP?
How much did you pay that prostitute?
>>17089308
I smoke, drink, and punch walls. Not that it fixes anything. Feels good in a fleeting kind of way, though.
Talking about parsely at work with a temp on a break. He pulls out his and looks up facts about parsely. One of them is that massive quantities of parsely can cause miscarriage. Pregnant woman nearby gets offended and tells my boss. I received a reprimand. I have never seen that temp again, and we ALWAYS have temps around.
Yeah, that sounds pretty ridiculous. What advice are you looking for?

Her:
>I'm jewish
Me:
>Do you mean that in the religious way or the hereditary way?
Her:
>What the fuck is that supposed to mean?
Me:
>Well there's the whole Jewish set of religious laws, but there's also Jewish ancestry related to Abraham and so on
Her:
>bristling subsides, she still doesn't answer question
Now I know that 99% of the time when someone says they are Jewish then unless they are wearing the goofy hat they are talking about heredity and don't know shit/give a shit about the Jewish faith. At least here in America. So I don't bother asking.
I hate the fact I'm just lazy: I know what I have to do, but 90% of the time I end up procrastinating
Sometimes I manage to push myself into doing something, but I give up very soon so I have little to no results
How do I train myself into being less lazy?
You do things, regardless of what excuse you come up with to procrastinate. And you keep doing things, until it becomes habbit. If you can't do that, you're fucked. The brain wants to be lazy, working is hard and it would rather not. You either accept that not wanting to do something/putting it off isn't a vaild excuse ever, or you keep being lazy. Most people stay lazy, but as a spoiler productivity is the trick to life. Brains, looks, skills can all be nearly zero, if you can actually work hard and not be lazy, you can get almost anything you want.
>>17089256
You fucking torture yourself into doing it. No other way around it. You yell at yourself. Curse. Beat yourself until you learn.
Do it.
I've been on 4chan for about 8 years and went from young lazy fag to ambitious career driven individual. Part of the desire to well personally came from a fear of not being like my parents, another is the fact that we're only alive once so fuck, might as well spend our time productively. It happens gradually but over time your inclinations will change and you'll actually dislike loafing around excessively.
To get started I recommend reading more, and nailing down goals you want to accomplish- in the very short, short, and long term
Sup /adv/,
Why is it that I can no longer hold a conversation with anyone for longer than 2 minutes? I can generally gather the confidence to say hi to people and get some level of small talk going. It's after that when I struggle to keep things going smoothly.
I just lose track and can't think of how to respond other than "yeah". It's frustrating, since I appear uninterested and that's generally not the case. It's slowly chipping away at my self confidence.
Is it just a matter of asking more questions until it just comes smoothly?
I've only recently started college/uni. I would agree that I have too much spare time and could be doing a lot more interesting things. Not sure how much that contributes.
What kind of things do you normally talk about?
Does your brain just trail off thinking about something else?
>>17089249
instead of saying 'yeah' you are supposed to first volunteer more information on the subject, then ask a question.
if they are trying to invest as much as you are, they do the same. if not, its okay to call it quits imo.
>BUT ANON I ALREADY KNOW THATI JUST LOSE TRACK OF IT AND SAY YEAH INSTEAD
nothing we can do to help that.
>>17089249
I have that problem as well.
It began recently.
Along with some other problems.
And yeah, it's frustrating as hell. I want to talk to people, I just seem to have lost the ability.
Does a conversation with you sound like pic related?
Why does jealousy cause me physical pain? When I see a woman with extremely attractive features, all I can think about is "I don't have a good opening to talk to her" and I get an aching feeling in my head and heart. It's especially bad when the girl is Asian there's usually either a language barrier or general distrust/unfriendliness towards white dudes.
>>17089232
>walking down the street
>see two asian qts
>they see me
>they literally turn around and run away
WHY
>>17089232
Anxiety. Creates stress. And gives your heart pain and heaviness
>>17089232
I used to get that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, I write it off to unrequited lust. I would always get triggered by girls with fine asses wearing those tight little cotton shorts that had stuff written on the butt, those really hit the streets while I was in college back in 2005 or so, and yes I'm an oldfag, now I have a lovely wife with a fine ass so I don't get bent out of shape as much anymore.
I can hear a female neighbour crying very loudly next door. She sounds like she's either in pain or losing her mind with grief. I feel really bad because of this.
What should i do ?
>>17089227
It wouldn't hurt to check on her to make sure she's ok. A random act of kindness might be what she needs right now.
Police non emergency number, ask for a welfare check. They'll knock on the door and talk to her a bit.
>>17089241
If the police showed up while I was grieving I would tell them to get the fuck out.
me and my girlfriend want to have a threesome and are looking for another girl to take part. we are both good looking but are unsure of how to go about finding another girl. any tips?
Your gf is a cuck, get rid of her
Swinger's club. They're awesome. My wife and I go sometimes to watch people fuck and for us to fuck other women together.
>>17089186
get friends that like drugs, there always the type to be around threesomes
>absolutely love my gf
>gf gained weight
>no longer sexually adventurous
>abandoned her qt twee fashion sense
>getting the itch to not be monogamous
How do you fight the powerful urge not to cheat? I want to marry this girl someday, but she's done that "let yourself go" thing that lots of people do when they get into relationships.
>>17089146
If you really wanted to marry her, the fact that she has 'let herself go' shouldn't be a deal breaker.
Also, how old are you?
>gf gets THICK
>this is somehow a bad thing
Kill yourself my man
>>17089151
>the fact that she has 'let herself go' shouldn't be a deal breaker.
Fuck off. Come back when you have standards.
>be me
>never went clubbing etc
>be invited to go to a house party/disco thing
>lots of young people my age
>around 18-25
>don't know what to
>wear
>how to act
>dance?
>flirt
>recognize if fem is into me
>how to act if fem is into me
Can /adv/ help me out?
>>17089110
Pic is semi-related
My god man, you're not a robot. Dress how you normally dress, if it looks good, drink responsibly to loosen up and just have fun
Step 1: feel good about yourself. You got invited so someone thinks you're worth having around for FUN.
Step 2: make yourself fresh for the party
Step 3: go to the party with the intent to have a good time.
Step 4: have a good time!
Addendum: ask the host or whoever invited you of you should bring anything to the party. Usually your own drinks.
I want to quit my gym contract since I've stopped enjoying lifting weights and enjoy martial arts more.
However the gym will not allow me to quit until my contract ends which is in October, can I simply cancel my debit card without any backlash? Or will they send the debt collectors to break my legs?
P.S I go to Nuffield Health
I would just stick it out instead of it showing up on your credit history for not paying. How much is it? 10-20$ a mo nth?
>>17089123
It's £40 which is around $60 I believe. I don't get paid as much as I did since I changed jobs so now it takes a chunk out of my pay every month which is a hassle.
I'm not overly concerned with my credit score since it's been excellent so far and I always make sure to pay but just not this time.
>>17089147
Shit. In that case yeah, I would stop paying. Not sure if that's a good deal or not where you're at but if the issue is that you can't afford it then I think you should save your money/spend it on more important things than the gym. Obviously the gym won't want to hear that but i would do it anyways. I would first TELL a manager that I'm going to stop coming because I can't afford it whether they like it or not. They might possibly give you some kind of exit path or discount and if not well you're not asking their permission.
