You can start the zoloft like it was scheduled, they're the same type of molecule and you won't risk any type of overdose with it. Be aware nonetheless that you'll need to wait for several weeks for the changes to take place and that your mental state can be worse the first weeks of treatment.

Ssri meds can work well, but for the love of God, do not fucking quit taking them without guidance from the doc. You need to stop slowly, over time. I was on lexapro and accidentally ran out so I didn't bother scheduling a new appointment for more. I got something called brain shivers about a week after running out, and if I had to do it all over again I don't think I would make it. They didn't go away for two weeks.

Tldr; anti depressants work but don't go off of them suddenly.

And if it's true, then ask what could have been done better on your part.

Although I know I don't have to tell you this, don't be rude. By going back there and asking what went wrong you gain three things:

1) The confirmation that you did or did not get the job
2) Advice for future job applications
3) A better image of yourself to employers

An employee who fights for their position is one who wants their position. And to employers, that's a good quality. Just don't be rude about it though.

I don't suffer from any mental illness, but I've been around people who have expressed symptoms of certain illnesses. I've been around a few people who take anti depressants and ADHD meds but I don't think those qualify as mental illness, just an impairment maybe.

EE will provide you a broader, more marketable skillset. You can work in literally ANY industry. Narrowing it down to just a computer focus still affords you many opportunities, but it's a highly saturated market and you will likely end up at some shithole corporation that has you churning out code like a monkey.

Sometimes people say shit they don't mean. But they don't say shit they aren't thinking. My advice is to spend some time learning about the actual people you emulate. Maybe even spend some time around them, if you can do it safely. Then decide if these are really people you want to be associated with, even in jest.

And please: don't do this on /adv/. The people who come to ask questions are hurting, and running so low on answers that they're resorting to 4chan of all places. Hell; most of the people who come to answer questions are also hurting, and running so low on answers that they'd come to 4chan of all places.
