Does anyone else feel a general disregard for the world? I don't really care much about anything, I don't vote because I don't want to take part in driving society onward. Whenever I hear about big tragedies on the news I think "well at least that's a few people gone" That's not me being an asshole either, I sympathise with their pain and their loved ones but death seems to be the best outcome anyway. Honestly I wish my mother would die peacefully in her sleep, not because I don't love her because I very much do, but if she wasn't there to mourn I wouldn't feel obliged to keep living anymore.

as for me, i feel a disregard for some aspects. i dont vote either cuz i dont feel like im educated enough to make thsoe sorts of decisions. to be honest i dont think anyone really is. on a spiritual and personal level i am in love iwht the world and everything it has to offer. but from a clinical scientific, societal standpoint i dont really care.

Did I fuck up? I stuck to my principles but I still feel like a bitch.
I got offered this summer job that is decently related to my field, but I left after the first day of training because they wanted me to sign stuff that made me uncomfortable. The main thing was a non-compete agreement, which explicitly stated I could not be a "... member or employee" of an organization offering a competing product or service. I felt like this summer job would have had the potential to fuck my near future over.
I just think having something like that (and a couple of other things) is ridiculously harsh for a summer job.

you've identified something that won't make you happy and that's a good start. what you need is a goal; something to work toward. something to remind you that yes uni blows right now but it is necessary because of x and y. again i would ask, what would make you happy or feel fulfilled in life?

I fucked up today and for the past few years with my education in college. My gpa is very low and my dad expects me to leave home this winter when in actuality won't happen until 2018.

Also, straight up, never comment on their appearance, unless they comment on yours first. Again, it's part of the whole "who cares more", you need them to care more about you, then you do about them. They need to make the initial compliment, then you get to reciprocate with a "you too".
