my advice has always been to simply live your life as enjoyably as you can, but to externalize your hobbies so that you are still meeting people

a guy who wakes up, goes to work, comes home, and plays video games all day, isn't going to get the chance to meet a woman. you gotta go out. but bars and such are not for everyone, and dating apps quickly become toxic.

so you gotta make sure to externalize your hobbies. and no matter what your hobbies are there are always ways to externalize them.

a big problem here is that you are starting ot think of a gf as an appliance. humans want to connect. but what you are doing is describing something both so distinct and so vague that you aren't approaching women as people. i dont mean that in a feminist way, cuz fuck that. but you yourself are going to have trouble connecting with a person if you do not see them as a person. and they are not going to like being treated as an object. the following copy pasta will hopefully help.

its no secret that women are the ones who are approached, and they make decisions on which men to keep in their lives. that being said, desperately drooling over each and every girl as if they are a potential love interest is silly.

give yourself more value by not letting a woman sway you on first impressions alone. before you ever begin to say anything remotely flirtatious, talk to the girl. see what she actually acts like when you interact with her. have a normal conversation. if there isnt anything special there beyond her looks, friendzone her. or simply stop talking to her. you do not need to hit on each and every girl that looks good enough to be your partner.

doing this gives you more value, and the psychological effects are great. in addition, women will take you more seriously. instead of being 1 of 500 men in new york who went straight for the kill, you took the time to get to know them. whether it goes anywhere or not, this approach also just gives you practice talking to girls in a casual context. its less pressure than trying to impress them.

So much read, yet there are lots of men out there who without reading a single book get women. I think that if your life undid your social skills with women then you could fix it by re-applying the experience you missed out, its hard, but everybody knows its there.

Talk with what you think is "ugly girl" eventually meet her "less ugly" friends go on until you find the friend of her friends that looks what you call "hot" when you reach her, talking to her is easy and the rest ofcourse too.

you cant always get what you want, but you can get what you need. by which i mean you want to go to college overseas to get that great chang,e but it might nbot be an option.

you need to choose what is going to set you up for more happiness later, and balance that out with not being miserable now. make strides towards what makes you happy, even if it means giving up on certain things.

you may not be able to go to uni in oanother country. but you may be able to live in one. or you could go to uni here, but move out. i dont know the ins and outs of your life. its hard for me to do more than just generalize.

I want to go to uni abroad because I am miserable in this country, and I actually have a good chance of getting in if I apply again this year. But it might take years, and I feel dangerously close to suicidal thoughts. I need a change now, maybe not as drastic as changing counties yet, but I need to do something.

neither. people talk abouti it all the time. what you are talking about is called existentialism, and its a large branch of philosophy. there are books about it. a lot of media (TV, movies, etc) are based on the concepts, and the little stories they tell are actually framed by philisophical concepts of existentialism (most notably, buffy the vampire slayer).

depending on who you listen to, existentialism means a lot of things. but the basic idea is as follows

>the universe is inherently meaningless
>the universe is indifferent to us (meaning it doesn't make things purposely good or bad for us, it is in fact random)
>we as humans are not 'predetermined' and can choose to do what we want
>we cannot choose the circumstances that wash over us, but we can choose how to respond to them
>it is our choices that give our lives meaning, and if we act as if we have no choice at all, our lives lose meaning.

ergo, your choices have meaning. the greatest things we humans have to go off of is 'how we feel'. we seem to existj ust to feel things. ergo, if you want your life to mean something, you might want to consider positively influencing others.

after all it doesn't matter if you think life is meaningless, and as long as you are happy its a good life. therefore if you find life meaningless, but someone else doesn't, you should consider doing your best to make those people happy, as you are meaningful to that person when youdo this.

theres a thousand directions this can go as you can imagine. there are a lot of books on the subject as well.

When Windows boots it does a system check to see what components you have. If the screen goes black you are having motherboard|graphic driver issues. See if you can boot using igpu if you have it and try installing the drivers first before installing your card
