Alright, so here's the deal. My dad is having risky neck surgery this week and it has me pretty stressed out. I told my GF that I would need her support and understand more than ever since this is a rough thing for me.
However, she told me that she believes that her stress is more than both me and my Dads combined and that she doesn't care about my Dad because he didn't tell her happy birthday or some shit?

This is where your problem is. You try to act according to what people think of you.
All those idiots over at /fit/ and other stupid bodybuilding/fitness boards think they're the most confident people in the world and call themselves "alpha", when they're just a copy of each other, and workout to be accepted in society. Once they open their gorilla mouths everyone knows they're as smart as a doorknob.
In all truth, a true alpha male is the one that is his own person. Not some fucking ape that needs to act tough and workout 5 hours a day to feel comfortable in his own skin.
In my freshman year in high school everyone thought I was a dumb flaccid cock because I mostly kept to myself and was nice to everyone. At the end of the year, everyone respected me because I had more knowledge than all of them put together and not only respected everyone but also helped them with their shit.
Instead of focusing on other people, focus on improving yourself. Workout if you want to. Take care of your appearance but keep it levelled with a good cultural formation. Do your own thing. At the end of the day, no one cares about anyone else so, why would you bother about that whole alpha-beta bullshit?
If you want to impress the girls, work on your charm rather than your muscles. Most girls I know would choose charm over anything else.

tl;dr covered in tattoos, need higher paying job
As a young man in my late teens and early 20's I was heavily invested in tattoos and piercings. I worked at a shop, was in the apprenticeship program and was 100% that this was the profession I was going to spend the rest of my life in. It was good money and while I was there I was gifted a lot of free tattoos and now I'm essentially covered (arms, hands, neck).
They're all tasteful, no skulls or blood or edgy shit, but as I realized at the time, it disqualifies me from a lot of typical avenues of income. I know this, I accept this. I clean up nice and dress pretty well but I'll never have that clean cut business look. I know that. I accept that.
Although I still love working in tattoo/piercing shops I've recently come into a bit of debt and want to know some jobs I could get into/start training for that pay the same as officefags. I'm not afraid of hard work and am willing to suffer for the sake of just earning enough money to live while I pay off stupid fucking medical debt.
Yes, I know I'm an edgy fag covered in tattoos. Yes, I know I'm an idiot and I probably should of made different choices. I know all this, and I've beat myself up plenty about it so If we could skip that part and get to the advice that would be great.

Hey /adv/,
Not a hugely serious issue here. But definitely would like some advice or pointers. Here's my situation:
I'm an averagely antisocial person. I'm alright with public speaking or casual conversation, but I struggle immensely with thinking up conversation topics. This is where I need help.
I'm also really lonely. I've had many long (3.5years+) relationships, but never really had to branch very far to search for somebody.
