Took an entire Propanolol box (used to slow down the heart) thinking it would just cause my heart to stop but it didn't work.
Thinking about getting drunk as much as I can and throwing myself on railroad waiting for the train to kill me.
This seems a bit harsh to me. Any better ideas?

so my gf came back from vacation, she told me that her aunt and uncle are visiting for a few weeks and will be busy with them often but not all the time. she told me not to worry and that we can hang here and there. The next day she literally did not reply or text at all. Now normally when something like that happens she apologizes the next day , replies and explains herself. this time however she didnt, she just said goodmorning and that shes going out to some event in her city with senpai. Today she hasnt answered at all so far. I asked her something important too on saturday so i dont know what to do. I cant visit today. Whats happening? I mean why tell me not to worry when youre going to do everything that you could possibly do to worry me

I just moved to a new town and really need a fucking job. Chances are you'll be heavily regulated by KPIs (targets) to ensure you don't fuck about.
If you find it easy to chat to strangers it will be an easy job. If social interactions stress you out - especially if getting chewed out or hung up on will bother you - then it is not the job for you.

It's basically dealing with customer complaints, question, emailing, etc. Or you could be calling people at their homes as to why they haven't signed up for your great once in a lifetime offer.

I've been in a long term relationship with this guy. He is extremely intelligent and talented, very handsome, but he has a drinking problem.
By problem I mean he has blackout episodes when he gets too intoxicated where he will call me all sorts of horrifying things, becomes aggressive, then remembers none of it when he wakes up in the morning.
He had a rough childhood and I believe he continues to relive aspects of it.
He refuses to go see any kind of counselor and get help.
I'm worried about bringing children into a home some day with a father who behaves like this... or God forbid, no father because he has either drank himself into the grave or killed himself.
Is it worth it to stay with someone like this? I am a very caring person but I am not a psychologist. I am fully aware I can't change him, but I don't rule out the possibility that some day he may want to better himself for his health, well-being and the happiness of our relationship... Am I a fool for staying this long?

On Friday I had to do a presentation for finals in front of my whole class . My laptop was just connected to the projector through HDMI and I didn't look to see what was on the screen . I had a folder open full of toddlercon. I just pretended no one saw it but everyone did. It was the most akward presentation ever . Afterwards I left immediately . I obviously can't deny it.

I love alcohol. You could probably say that it's my hobby. I'm an extremely functional alcoholic.
However, I'm aware that it's going to start impacting my health, and I have very distinctly noticed that my party lifestyle is having a negative impact on the people around me - who try to keep up and then get themselves into trouble.
I don't think I can really completely abstain from drinking, but are there resources out there for me to learn to mitigate the amount I drink?
Alternatively, is there anyone on here like me that have found enriching hobbies that replace the desire to drink/party?

You could start brewing your own alcohol. Assembling a functional distillery isn't quite as difficult as it sounds, and although you'll be producing paint stripper at first, growing your own ingredients and experimenting with recipes could be a lot of fun.
If you get to the point where you could limit your drinking only to things you make yourself, you'd end up drinking a lot less and feel a lot more satisfied.
I did the same thing with smoking a few years ago. Ended up 100% self-sufficient for tobacco and quit smoking, kept on gardening.

generally i suggest taking what you do in your 'down time' and reverse engineering it.
you read comics? draw one.
you watch movies? write / film one.
you read books? write one.
play video games? design one.
like sitting in chairs? build one.
consider going to local events like dodgeball, or sword fighting classes, or martial arts or casual people playing sports for fun. try new things and if you dont like em try something else.
AA is pretty judgemental about how alcohol consumes your life so i dont recommend it until you know you have a problem (Which you might). do your best and drink in casual situations only, not parties.

If you are ONLY attracted to their sense of humor, speech defects, and gestures then yes it's PROBABLY infatuation - but these attractions can obviously also exist if you really do love someone.
IMO the line between love and infatuation comes when you can come to really understand and accept someone's flaws yet still care deeply for them and when you can honestly think "This is my partner (in life)." Marriage and all of that other stuff is when you formalize it, reinforce all the bonds and ties, and make it official.
