I think I'm catching feelings for a [spoiler]21yo single mother[/spoiler]. She has a car and a job and lives with her parents, as do I. I feel a strong emotional connection with her which is unheard of for me. How can I stop this? Or do I go thru with it? Am I king cuck, ruler or all things cuck? I found out that the Basket Ball American, I went to high school with, in pic related was arrested for robbing a pawnshop, with a gun and an accomplice. He was out on bail for second degree assault, which is also a felony, so I'm quite sure he's going up the river.

I knew him a little bit in High School and expected him to at least make it to some small community college on a Basket ball scholarship. (He was pretty good)

I was thinking about sending him a letter in prison, with a Bible or something, in hopes that he turns it all around. What do you guys think, and how would I send him that?

I have no confidence. I feel like I doubt and second guess all the time. I can't do anything with women with no confidence.

It sucks because confidence is t something you get overnight as a adult. You get it as a kid and since I didn't get any confidence as a kid, my confidence is now in the shitter.

Help me... Where can I get confidence. All seems like a huge lie.

Hey /adv/, how do I become social with the people at my office as a new employee?
The problem is my department (IT support) is somewhat lonely. It's me and one other guy. He's a nice guy, but we don't have much in common. He's a lot older than me and doesn't seem to talk to the other people at work. There are lots of people my age working here who seem really friendly. Whenever I'm not helping them out with stuff however, it's easy to get secluded. I guess it's hard being a part-time job, but I'd like to hang out with more with the other people at work. Because it kind of sucks to have job, and not be able to reap any of the social benefits.. Should I just give it time or do I actually have to be active about this shit? Been working there for about a month or so now.

Hey 4chan, seeking some sage advice here.

I have a group of friends consists of me and 3 other guys.

One of the guys, let's call him *Hwang* does some peculiar things.
*He always touches some of us molester style
*He manipulates things around in his favor
*His mannerisms in arguments always changes the subject in his favor -- he must have his way or he'll throw a fit
*He privately *disses* us to each other and calls me a homo sexual in a serious tone.
*Basically he's a nigger

So today, another friend in the group wanted to address something with Hwang before the intervention. Let's call this friend Haon. Haon brought up a personal issue and used me as a reference which is all true. Hwang is deflecting the issue through manipulation and diss (see intervention topics) and claims he didn't say it.

Now Hwang is completely fed up with the rest of our group and while we would like to stay friends with him, it is hard to mend things when he doesn't want to and somewhat his personality. He also virtually walked out of the group via google hangouts.

TL;DR A group of friends failed an intervention for the way a friend in the group acts (he acts like a fucking nigger), instead resulting in him being indignant and unresponsive. How do we fix this?

Hey guys, I'm starting to realise I really don't enjoy my home life (I don't know why, my parents are great, I just feel alone and depressed at home - my sister is a manipulative piece of shit, maybe thats why) and I've felt like the military is the place I am destined to be. I've been interested in it since age 7 and honestly nothing really seems exciting to me anymore unless it's military related.

I don't have great A level grades (UK) but I have solid A's in GCSE. I was thinking an officer job would be good but I will take an enlisted role if I have to. I have a year to prepare in any way possible, that can help me get the best chance to get a good job., obviously physically but any other activities or things I should do would be welcomed advice.

I would like to know if anyone has experience with military life and can answer some questions as well:

1: If i joined as a foot soldier in the army, will my body really be broken after my career? I would like to avoid tinnitus, messed up knees/back, etc.

2: considering the above, if I want some action (not necessarily fighting but at least something adventurous) what is a good job that will leave my body in working order but also maybe get me some experience that could be useful in civilian life afterwards? My current list that I want to narrow down is:

Combat engineering, RAF weapon systems operator, Navy meteorology (will require university but they pay for it), Intelligence officer, tank crewman, artilleryman/officer, ammo tech (this is one i'm skeptical about, is it actually interesting or is it just sitting and fixing guns all day?), and finally artillery/special gunfire observer.

Sorry for the long read, any advice about the military would be good. Any advice for preparing and also ideas for life after the military would also be appreciated because I would like to stay for maybe 5-6 years so I can fix my life and start living independently but not really do a full 20 year career.

In a big bind right now guys. Time is money. Basically I secured a new job waiting tables last Tuesday, and have my second shift tomorrow evening. The problem is last night I was dumb enough to get drunk and buy a tiny bit of drugs, speed shit. It was unplanned - ater a family argument - but I'm still pathetic for doing it. Regret it. I need this job.

I'm not sure whether it's in my best interest to call in sick for the shift (without lying) or to try and do what I can in between then to make myself look presentable. I find people are always in the know that it's lingering in my system, and that means customers tomorrow and more importantly, obviously, my boss.

People seem to always know and it sucks.

I'm considering going to the hospital since I can't see my Doctor, and asking for something they can give me. Some drug to wash my system (my eyes). Something to help me sleep this evening.

Any advice?

My girlfriend sometimes acts crazy.

She sometimes punches herself in the face, blames me for things I have nothing to do with, and gets very rapid mood swings (acting extremely cold to me, then moments later, smiling and acting sexy around me).

Is this relatively normal for a girlfriend? I wouldn't know since she is my first.

What are some tattoos I could make a sleeve out of? I'm a white guy so no Japanese koi fish or dragons. The only things I can think of are Skulls, boats, and Celtic designs. I don't want any tattoos of women or things like star wars or video games or cartoons. I prefer something kind of traditional.
