My sister says one of her coworkers thinks I'm cute and "likes" me. She's said this more than once now..
And today she asked if I wanted her to hook it up
How do I say yes without sounding like I'm desperate? I'm not sure if she was serious or not
'Sure'
'Yes'
'Ok'

pretty much this. I don't understand the problem OP.
But like she mentioned it earlier today and time has passed, how do I bring it up again without being awkward?
Just started to play go. Any tips on how to get better other than just practice a lot?
Trying to get good at go is more futile than trying to get good at chess.

Play with people who are at your level or are better than you.

What can you get from friendship that you can't get on 4chan?
Human contact

We're speaking to each other, aren't we?

What makes you think i am human?
I am 26 years old and a single full time father, My spouse passed away last year. I work 40-60 hours a week in a steel mill and raise my son with the help of mother and sisters. They are encouraging me to go out and put myself on the market again (I think its so they are sick of filling the mother role). I don't have much time to go out and meet people, I do strike up conversations whenever I get the chance. I am going to create a online dating profile and I have always been encouraged to me proud and confident with who I am.
So should I include the fact that I am a single father? Most of the pictures of me that I consider good include my son, should I go out and fabricate some new pictures or embrace the life I live and be open about my son? (though I'm not looking to bring woman after woman into my life, I will get to know her well before she meets my son)
I guess my question should be, Do women find single fathers attractive and strong or does mentioning I'm a single father online dating just make me look needy?
>>17255797
24 year old femanon here, you're going to get very mixed results from a lot of different women, because not everyone values the same things.
I personally find it amazing that someone gives it their all to be a good father, it means you have values and are most likely nurturing and responsible and STABLE, which is what a lot of people desire...even if not at the moment, then eventually.
It's respectful and a lot of women will consider it sexy but at the same time a lot won't, as a lot of people around this age are still figuring shit out and establishing their own futures and careers.
Don't give up, but realize that you're going to get mixed results because people will assume you're chained down to this life for the rest of your life, as you have a big commitment on your hands.
Dating older women who are already established might work out better, but again, you're going to get a lot of mixed results. You DON'T have to feel obligated to tell people that you're seeing the first few times that you have a kid. There's nothing saying you can't date and see where things go, OR you can make sure the person you're dating knows they have no obligation to take care of your kid (this is probably the safest route, as it puts no pressure and let's you both enjoy your time together/doesn't scare people off from the thought of commitment).
sorry if this is getting too long, lol. In short, no, it doesn't make you look needy. Just hang in there, and keep trying.

yeah i would think most 20-30 something girls aren't gunna go for the whole how would you like to be the new mother of my child type relationship. it also doesn't help that your spouse passed away only a year ago, I don't know you but i'd think you would still have some hang ups and baggage about that and maybe aren't ready to love another person yet
but certainly don't hide the fact that you're a single father, i'm thinking your best bet is to find single moms around your age
How can you look someone in the eye when you're talking to them and have it not be weird? I can only seem to do it with people I see as equals or friends, but people I interview with and my counselor I find it hard to look them in the eyes and when I do it feels intensely uncomfortable.
I know its a bad habit but I also need help on making natural eye contact (you know, not glancing around all the time)
Practice.
Observe your friends who you think are good at eye contact.
>>17255488
This.
Also, focus and control of your own thoughts and feelings.
Embarrassment, uncertainty, self doubt, etc are all in your head.
Confidence can be natural because of environmental factors, but for those who lack it or lost it long ago, it must be worked back up to.
Force of will brother.
Hey guys
I saved a really good video years ago and furtively hid it in my Steam game files. Trouble is, I don't know which game. What's the easiest way to find the .mp4 needle in my Steam haystack?
Thanks
>>17255430
Lost a sex tape this way.
That computer has since died.
Waiting to see if you get a good response, maybe I can find it and pull the HD.
That thumbnail makes me want hashbrowns
If it's really a mp4 just go to your steam folder and type "*.mp4" in the search bar
hello /adv/
my ex girlfriend is currently going on a crusade on fucking tumblr of all places to try and make others believe I am stalking her while I showed up a total of one time in the past year at her place just to get some closure
I know she's trying to rally some kind of defense force because we have mutual friends and they have notified me of her tumblr posts mentioning "an ex who keeps showing up at the door" which is a fucking lie
how the fuck am I supposed to defend myself against this? I've heard dozens of horror stories where falsely accused folks get a mob of angry people tracking them down and fucking up their life
please help me defend myself against this lunatic

thanks for at least replying with humor I guess
If I remember the lore correctly, the best way to deal with this is to fuck her sister and her best friend and then turn all her friends/family against her
Does jelqing work to increase penis size?
Does anything work?
It "works" but it isn't worth it. You're popping blood vessels and scar tissue forms. It'll get bigger because scar tissue is formed quickly and unevenly. But it will reduce sensitivity and how hard you can get. I gained half an inch in a few months but it takes forever to get hard and it's mot diamond hard like it used to be. Search around there's men who are permanently limp because of it.
Nothing works otherwise all men would be doing it.
Girls are used to it it's a common insecurity. Tell her to tell you it's big and she will.
>>17255443
Really? I didn't know that, that's interesting
>>17255411
>Does jelqing work to increase penis size?
No.
>Does anything work?
No.
All massage therapists, please read this.
I went to school for massage therapy but never got to finish. Because of that, I can't even take my mblex test nor will my college release my transcripts so I can finish with a different school.
So my question is, should I answer Craigslist ads for or massage therapist? I'm concerned about getting caught by the massage board. They will bar me from ever getting my license. The way around this is not taking payment but rather 'donations toward my education'.
I'm also concerned about people who are expecting a happy ending. Does this happen often on Craigslist?
Before anyone tries to school me, I know all my contraindications and can provide legit clinic paperwork. Just no licensing.
In short, what are the odds I'll get caught or get hurt answering calls on craiglist
I need to keep this from 404 so bump
Are tattoos just trashy? I got a tattoo of a cross and now I feel like trash. What should I do?
Deal with it.
>>17255321
Well...that's kind of a stupid tattoo.
However, on the bright side, the line work and blacks look good, at least from the image I can see here.
Just keep going. Get more tattoos and make a sleeve. How old are you?
>>17255321
They are and always will.
I'm very inexperienced when it comes to girls, and a lot of that comes down to my lack of self esteem. I don't think I'm that attractive, I'm not a skinny guy, and I feel like I have quite a socially awkward personality. However, I do possess a sense of humour when talking to people.
However, there's this girl who I know. She's quite a bit younger than me but pretty damn hot, getting loads of likes on her Facebook pictures. She could get anyone she wanted I'd imagine. And I'm getting a few signals from her that she may be interested. Just the way she acts around me. Always striking up conversations with me even when I'm having one of my quiet days, asking me questions about myself, playing with her hair a lot, laughing at a lot of my humorous remarks.
Anyway, why me? What could I have that all the chads on her Facebook don't?
>>17255320
Likely, for attention.
This is a good opportunity though. Surprise her with your humor and charm. Stop thinking about attraction in such quantitative means (likes on pictures).
She's a cute girl, and talking to YOU. So turn on the charm.
>>17255348
>Likely, for attention.
Yeah but this is what I don't get. She can get attention from anyone she wanted, why would she even associate with me?
Regarding the second part, I'll see what I can do.
>>17255356
Does it matter?
Maybe she's got a thing for guys like you. Stop wondering why, and begin using it to your advantage.
Stop being so critical of yourself, assuming no one can ever be attracted to you or whatever.
>She can get attention from anyone she wanted
This is true. And she probably does. Time to be funnier than them.
Put that kind of stuff out of your mind when you're talking to a girl. Because it doesn't matter at all. Everyone, including the "chads" on facebook has issues. Have a little more faith in your abilities to charm people and take a chance.
You can only get better at this with practice, as well.
Dear Foreskin,
You were taken away from me before I ever had a chance to know you. I am sorry that we had to part but trust in me that this was not my choice.
Sometimes I like to think what life we could have had if we were still together. Sometimes I dream about the family we could have started together.
I never knew you but I hopelessly miss you, I know it's silly. For all I know we could have disagreed with one another, fallen out over petty bothers like cleanliness.
However I will never know if that is the case, but I dare to dream that we would have made one hell of a team, partners for life until the end. What I do know is that you will never get this, I am writing it for myself. Yet still I foolishly hope somewhere, somehow you understand this.
Sincerely,
Dickhead
>PS: Masturbating is killing me, when it doesn't take half an hour to come. I've been rubbing my whole life like I 'have' foreskin but I don't and my dick is taking the toll. Help please, send help.
You can regenerate dick skin with creams. There's something from a tree, some sap I think. I can't remember but just rub some in and you'll be brand new
Tbh I have foreskin and I've never really felt great about it. I've never heard of anything like a "foreskin reattachment surgery" so your best bet is to just deal with it. If you'd like a taste of the foreskin experience, here's what every other day looks like for me:
>wake up
>take a piss
>dick stinks
>take a shower
>have to pull it back to wash off my piss and all the weird shit from my underwear
>stop showering
>have to piss again
>masturbate
>it smells kind of bad
>but it feels good I guess
>realize that I'm never gonna use it
>cry to self
>read
>play video games
>go to sleep
>>17255342
I cannot in good faith put tree cream on my dick.
>>17255347
I hear you my man, I'm comfortable with the nasties involved. I'm pretty OCD so I would probably combat smells and smegma relentlessly.
It's all worth it though. Thinking about the amount of times my hand has glided over my head. It's like sandpaper on a brick walk. Lotion and condoms help but it's not the same.
That flappy bit of skin on the end of your knob acts as a smooth and silky skin, ultimately making each stroke luscious and delightful.
I am forever trapped in the barren desert, rubbing my crumbling dusty cock.
I'm chewing 2 27 mg methylphenidate pills cause I'm depressed and suicidal. My life is a nihilistic hellhole of despair and no progress. How long will these pills last? If I get a seizure and die or something that'll be good news :)
Take a knife to your jugular attention whore.
Anyone that says "nihilistic hellhole of despair" is a 2edgy4u teenager
Stop, dumbass. Go talk to a shrink.
That's the mature way to go about it, at least.
Can I get some advice about renting please?
Here's my situation:
>have to move out of current place on July 2
>I have a holiday booked from 1 July to 10 July
>then back in work
I just went to see a room and the move-in date is June 19th (next Sunday). If I take it I'll be spending two weeks of rent without even living there, around $425.
I'm worrying that if I don't take this place I'll eventually panic and have nowhere to go. I have a sister who lives in the same city but she is over 1.5 hours away and I don't really want to take all my stuff and leave it in her small apartment.
What do you guys think?
I'm often quite careless with money but right now I'm thinking $425 is a lot to spend on a place I won't be living.
>>17255260
Well, you have to take into consideration you local rent apartment situation; how likely is it that you won't find another place? It's possible that you might have no where to go or you might find a place easily. We can't help you there, you probably know it better.
If you decide not to rent it, you could consider renting a storage unit somewhere instead. You could store your stuff there until you have a place to move them to and they're generally reasonable priced.
>>17255260
>>17255272
The thing is I'm only looking to rent for the short term. I don't want to get stuck in a long-term contract and this place is three months, which is great. I'm looking to find a new job in the very near future.
>>17255260
your second month's rent should be prorated for the amount you didn't live in the apartment for your first month. You shouldn't be losing out on rent money.
