I'm a very lucky man, in that I was raised in a (very) upper middle class, conservative town. I went to a very well respected public school, but blew a lot my chances by putting forth zero effort into my classes and extracurriculars.
I've neglected my body for oh I don't know, all my life. I'm twenty now and still look like a skinnyfat highschool gamer.
I thought joining the military would instill self determination in me but it's the same story difference setting.
How do I get fit, stop smoking, study, develop meaningful hobbies? And I don't mean the mechanics behind those things, I know the science behind weight loss and muscle gain, or how nicotine withdrawal affects you and the ways you can deal with it. I mean how do I get myself into a mindset to actually perturb meaningful change in my life?

So it is the summer vacations and I visited my cousins in Russia I haven't seen in almost a decade.
All my cousins and their friends talked about was their collective dream of getting a married with a rich man with a yacht.
Tried to talk to some of their male friends and they were just as bad. They all bragged about how hot the hooker they fucked, which they apparently do every weekend.
When asked why wouldn't they want to have gf that actually cares for them, they responded a prostitute was cheaper.
Although I know Russian culture is different from America, I am beginning to think that most men and women think exactly the same as Russians but don't say it out loud because of political correctness.

I tend sleep about dreams of bludgeoning dreams skulls of people I hate with items like bats and metal pipes. And it more and more often I want to fuck people up that makes it seem satisfying. I know the consequences of hurting people and taking their lives but its difficult to care. Worlds full of hate anyway so why not go for broke? It just seems like I'm constantly being drained at a rate that greatly exceeds that of any recharging I can do.
I guess I'm just officially burnt out because no amount of rest seems like enough. I had a really trying year with work and finally took two weeks off at the end of last month and it didn't really help at all. I feel like I'd need a solid 6 months of rest to be able to dive into another year of this shit.
Am I just recharging wrong? Is this just a sign that I'm in a job that isn't right for me?

At my job I usually dont work more than 3 days in a row max, which is fine but somewhat exhausting by the end. However if I work like 6 days in a row I'm exhausted both physically and mentally and if I then have just one day off before I start again its no use at all and I'm still exausted when I come back.
But I've found doing stuff like partying in between makes it more mentally bearable despite having to do a workday hungover.
