i'd say kind of...ask her if she likes anyone like that/lead into it without outright saying it. if it seems like she'll judge you for it don't say anything and try to get over it, but if it doesn't you might as well go for it. just tell her that you have feelings for her but don't say that it's become overwhelming or that you started thinking of her sexually or whatever. that's what i'd suggest, it's up to you if you actually do it or not. good luck either way!!!

I put in 18 before I got injured. Hard to adjust to civillian life no matter what man. See if the school has a veteran center and talk so some of the guys there you will have stuff in common with. I like to hit up folks waring the navy hat, marines hat or a tshirt and ask them if they were in and how long. Easy to start up convo that way. Also I found it easier to talk to the older students where I was at as opposed to folks my age. That would lead to being friends with other folks.

I always found that playing a bit dumb by asking someone what their major was and what they will do with it. And me saying Im still figuring out what I wanted to do. It kinda manipulated the conversation a bit for them to talk a bit more and me come off less of a military dick.

Allergies and warehouse work dont seem to work brother. Look at local hospital jobs for entry level stuff. indoors, clean and AC. I was a transporter wheeling folks around the hospital in wheelchairs. Got to date a few nurses too over my 2 years there. Give it a go. Fun times. Plus you get to meet some pretty cool folks. Sad when they die. But overall it was great for me.

I don't know what you're into, but if I were struggling with thoughts like that, it's something I would talk about with my therapist.

I'm 29 and I'm in the same place. I had a lot of experiences, except positive ones with the other sex (I'm male btw), but I failed heavily on the professional side. My dream now is to get back to study and I'm ready to give up other aspects of my life. I'll follow the thread, can't say too much to you except for the fact that probably nobody feels really fullfilled in his early 30's. Let me explain this to you: for sure I know that I start from the place of the underachieved loser, but even if you were on track with studies, with an ongoing sexual and social life, well adjusted on the financial side, you still would have a sort of void which would push you through your path to achieve more. Call it hunger, as you want. If you switch perspective and actually recognize your self-pity as a genuine hunger, it will become a drive and the concrete demonstration that you aren't yet done. Eventually you will do everything in a row, and you will discover that you run way faster than the others. Godspeed.

Find one in rehab. You will at least have something to talk about and have one thing in common.
