What can I do with a 4.5 inch dick?

do not worry. The average length of a vagina is approximately 4 inches, so you have enough to get the job done.

So today a female friend of mine told me that I was "too intimidating" to women. She was talking about her love life, and asked how mine was, and I told her it was the same as usual - nobody worth talking about.

Then she looked at me and told me that I "intimidated" women too much, and that even though I'm not ugly, and not a sperg (I work in digital media, so you kinda have to not be), I'm so "intellectually intense" and "emotionally open" that it intimidates most women, who would rather go for some deadbeat who they can lord it over, and leverage their perceived greater worth over them so they have the upper hand in the relationship; something they wouldn't have with me because I'm too independently minded and ready to argue my point.

I don't have any trouble getting laid or tinder matching or anything, but I always just assumed I was single cause I'm an asshole (and fully aware of it). Does this intimidation bullshit ring true to you guys tho?

Dude I have literally the exact same problem, although mine is more about me being to friendly and outgoing that it gives girls the creep vibe. I don't know what to do about it because i've always been a friendly guy. :(
>>
>>17332077
The intimidation thing isn't bullshit if people do feel intimidated talking to you. It's not advantageous to intimidate people all the time, though you could learn to turn it on and off at will. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with what you're actually saying, but your body language etc.
>>
>>17332126
But I wonder if OP means emotionally intimidating more than physically. That might take some therapy.

the second you wake up

the
S E C O N D

you wake up, do this:
Keep a journal by your head and immediately write down what your dream was about in as much detail as possible, recalling as much as possible.

There are a massive number of theories as to what dreams really are. Personally, I like to believe that when we fall asleep our minds and bodies start making little repairs on the daily wear and tear we go through, and dreams are just our brains sorting through our subconsciousness and trying to figure it all out. You know how sleeping on something actually has a very high rate of coming up with something good, yea?

So we keep a dream journal for two reasons. ONE) because we almost immediately forget 95% of what we just dreamt as soon as we wake up, so by jotting it all down as soon as we wake up we have a much more concrete connection with our dreams through the simple act of writing them down, and TWO) because by doing so you may be able to make sense of your dreams and take something away from them.

At the absolute worst, by conditioning yourself to write down what you've dreamt the night before, you're more easily able to discern what is a dream and what is not, and can "force" yourself awake once you realize you're dreaming. A common method of figuring out if you're dreaming or not that everyone parrots is the good 'ol "pinch yourself" trick, but I've long been able to experience pain within my dreams. I find that seeking out an electronic device of sorts (I prefer a lightswitch) and flipping it on and off helps. If you are actually dreaming, the light won't function normally. Same with mirrors; your reflection won't appear properly if you are in a dream.

There are more directions we can go from this point, but for now it oughtta suffice.

Would a degree in health & wellness be a good choice?

It's the only thing I'm really passionate about but I'm not sure about the job market with it.

Dude, I don't where you live, but the population is aging.

Careers in the health field are in demand and will only become more so as the baby-boomers get older
>>
>>17331943
Jobs are everywhere, you just have to get the right internships and make the right connections.

The main job people go for with this degree, in the US and Canada at least, is health educator. Unlike the title would suggest, you're not a health//P.E. teacher in a school. Hospitals hire these people to see patients and coach them on their shitty life choices which led them there in the first place. You'd be educating patients on diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes like quitting smoking or drinking alcohol. If you want to continue your education to the post-grad level, you can specialize in things like diabetes education or addiction education.

The career is pretty in-demand. Check out internship opportunities with SOPHE. That should get your foot in the door.

Dumping some real details on my life here, so I hope some of you guys have the mental energy and good will to reply.

Around sixteen I came down with a minor deformity in my jaw, which may he correctible by exlensive voluntary procedures. Subsequently I found of how emotionally unstable, succeptible to depression, and without adequate family support I was. Around eighteen I became homeless, having left my father's home due to his abusiveness, and my grandparents'/mother's for the fact she didn't want me.

I am twenty one now, and it looks like I have solved the homelessness issue. I can also create networks of friends and attract the occasional pretty girl.

However I am equally ugly, equally unstable, and equally depressed. It feels like I went nowhere in three years. Plus, I can't make anything good out of these friendships or relationships due to all of my limitations. Beyond that, I have suicidal ideations and have been experiencing things that tend to get labeled "odd" or depersonalization. I also hate our current society.

What should I do? Continue to seek increasingly higher quality therapy, continue trying to accomplish more for society to get karma and cash, and maybe look into surgical correction of the issues I have with my face?

This doesn't sound like the worst thing; but my optimism is so gone. I feel like a crazy, worthless and ugly waste of a person.

>>
Dude you've brought yourself out of homelessness and developed networking and social skills. That is more accomplished in a few short years than some people manage with a decade.

Everyone goes through periods of dissatisfaction from time to time. As Mike Piazza put it, "If everything came easy, you wouldn't appreciate the good times. Like success, the best way to handle it is with humility."

Keep your head up, get some therapy if you think you need it, look into the corrective surgery if it will increase your quality of life, just keep on going man. I don't even personally know you and I'm proud of your accomplishments, you should be too!

im 35 and still cant make any friends or keep a girl around for more than a month... and I look pretty damn good I am told.

Unfortunately life is really tough sometimes and sadly isnt fair but you have done pretty good for yourself and you just need to keep on going. Maybe you need a new and harder challenge in your life, one that gives you a sense of reward. For me thats just pushing myself in the gym and on the bicycle, you will have to find what interests you and pursue it.
>>
Your life is as easy or hard as you want it to be. Youve been taking your life and doing hard mode. If you can keep at it and believe in yourself, who knows how far ahead youll be able to get.

look into behavioral therapies for depression. they work really well and just bring so much satisfaction back into your life

I want to be happier in life, to care about what I do, to lead a meaningful life.

I've had a "successful" life as far as general standards go: good education, good family, good job, no debt, etc. I'll admit I don't have many friends and while not a virgin, have been single for a bit so this may factor into it. But overall, I really don't feel happy or fulfilled.

I kind of just lead my life doing mostly the same thing every day, every week. While my job is alright and pays well, I don't particularly like or dislike it. I look forward to coming home but when I do, I don't do anything notable. I'll play games, watch shows/movies, browse the net, read books or whatever else. And what more is there to do really? Most of us sleep a third of the time, work another and then you're left with only a few hours each day once chores and routine is out the way.

I'm left wondering if that's all there is to life. Do I just live on like this until the day I die? Do others feel this way as well? Does everyone go through a mild existential crisis?

Feel free to give advice or just chime in if you'd like.

I'm very lonely, but I don't have many social skills, and I think I come off as slightly retarded or something.

Anyway, when I do talk to most people, I realize that most of the time I don't even like them.

The people that don't seem interested in talking to me are typically the ones I'd like to be friends with.

What do I do? How do I make friends? I've been on the internet for years and only made one friend, and he ditched me.

What's the point when everyone's a sociopath?
Everyone views everything transactionally. If there's nothing you can do for me, there's nothing I will do for you. Kindness, empathy, and justice are things we pretend to believe in for our own gain.

The human world is fake and gay- I'll have no more of it.

>>
>>17331911
You could prove yourself wrong by being someone who does kind things without expecting anything back. I do agree that too many people are transactional, but the only thing you can do about it is show them why they shouldn't be.

I'm sure this isn't the best place to go for this, but I know some nurses, med students, etc. are on here.

I'm currently a college student, and at first I was set on going to medical school upon graduating. However, I've been shadowing my sister, a physician assistant, for a couple of months, and a lot of the doctors she works with are telling me to not go to medical school. After my first day shadowing surgery, the urologist asked what I was doing there, and she told him I was interested in medical school. The first thing he said was, "convince him not to go...it's a terrible decision." After talking to a few other doctors and surgeons at the office, they have all said similar things: "I wouldn't let my kid go to medical school," "don't go," and "it's financial suicide" are among the more popular lines. I've only met one doctor, a neurologist, who said to go, but he went to medical school out in the Caribbean, which is easier. A surgeon I talked to that said not to go didn't go to undergrad and went to straight to medical school after high school, so I kind of ignored his opinion.

Ideally after medical school and residency, I would like to become either an orthopedic surgeon or dermatologist. The issue there is I would have to be basically top in my class to get those residencies, which I think I'm capable of.

My primary concern is the financial burden of paying off medical school loans afterwards.

I have been considering pharmacy school for a while also. In high school, I had been set on becoming a pharmacist since freshman year; however, after taking an anatomy class junior year, I started considering becoming a doctor.

Another doctor I talked to mentioned going to PA school instead like my sister, which I'm now starting to think about as an alternative to medical school.

I'm curious as to what others have to say or have heard about medical school, pharmacy school, PA school, etc.

Thanks.

I am a doctor. A young resident at that. Internal Medicine, so I'm used to being shit on at this point

1.)every generation always says "times have gotten bad compared to when I started".

2.)in the last 15 years ,there have been more dramatic, sweeping changes to the medical field in terms of bureauceacy, payment, expectations, autonomy, etc, then ever before ,so these old docs are right - medicine has changed, arguably not for the better (for the physician).

At the end of the day I love my job, despite how fucking stressful and at times unfufilling it may seem. I'm under no delusion I'm somehow "more special" than the average person (which is maybe how some older doctors felt).

if you can find personal satisfaction from the field (where there is basically endless learning... Some don't like that ), you can enjoy it. I like the challenge, the detective work, and at the end of the day, you are the one responsible everything... You're still the captain of the ship.

Some don't like that stress, and the very high stakes it entails. You gotta bring your all everyday. And after all these years that can be very taxing. Just have to find a work /life balance that works for you.

Its expensive though.. See if you are good enough to get a scholarship. I don't know much about that, my dad paid for my need school, so I am very lucky.
>>
I thought about going to medical school, then I realized I had no money and wasn't willing to take out loans. I may reconsider in a few years if I can save up some money, but probably not. PA school or optometry school don't sound so bad. Even a nurse can make a decent living.

Just remember, to be accepted into medical school you need a high GPA, good MCAT score, letters of recommendation, and clinical experience.
>>
almost every MD ive ever met has told me that I should pursue a career in medicine, so I really don't understand your situation.
could it possibly be that they dont think youd like it? or that you wouldnt make it?

there are also other science based fields you can persue with a pre-med undergraduate degree...
