How do you handle being smarter than your peers?
Maybe I have autism and don't know how to interact with them but I'm the one people come to when they need help with any type of help with our studies (neuroscience) and any type of deeper understanding of the material & I'm told by almost everyone I've met that I'm the smartest person they know.
I don't want to be that, I just want to be normal and fit in but I'm too much of a faggot to stop reading and learning shit so I can hang out with other people because building my knowledge is the most important thing to me at this point in my life for reasons including eventual social status and career opportunities that may be opened because of me not being a fucking idiot. Even when I get the chance to I'm too much of a fucking dweeb to fit in and end up getting excluded from everything so I bury my head back in a book.
Am I just trying to make friends with the wrong people? Why am I so socially retarded? Do I have any hope at all or am I going to be an Isaac Newton-esque dweeb virgin minus the groundbreaking theories?
Any advice for others with this problem would be great too.

Doubt anyone remembers me, but I posted a couple of months back asking for advice on some new hairstyles. At the time I was wanting to go with a side part. I got the cut, but it didn't turn out how I wanted. So I didn't end up wearing my hair that way and just let it grow out into the current mess that it is now.
I have two haircuts in mind that I'd like to get but wanted some advice as to whether or not they'd fit me or not. I'll post them in the rest of the thread, but any feedback as to what kind of haircut might work better would be appreciated.

Within the next month, I'll be hopping on a bus from the midwest, and ending up in California. All I'll have my phone, a suitcase of clothes, and a few thousand dollars. I have a vague maybe of a job lined up and only know one person there. This is sort of an experiment more than anything. See what I can accomplish if anything and maybe meet some new people.
What I'm asking is for some stuff I have to experience. Things I need to see, do, feel. I've lived a boring ass life of playing videogames surrounded by cornfields and nobody for too long. Should I make some specific stops along the way like the Grand Canyon?

I would be more afraid of failing, but I do have family here at home that would help me out. Worst case scenario is I lose my money, have to ask for $100 to be sent Western Union and get on another bus.

First, stop being such a pussy. Life is hard, so get use to it. Do something for yourself, stop excercising or lifting or something, if you're fat. You should seek it right away, if your feeling for suicide is really strong. Depressions are quite normal, everyone has one. Short Story:
I got back home from work to see my mom in the verge of tears saying that she was almost t-boned by some teenager with hearts sunglasses in a red toyota celica but by the grace of god nothing happened out of it because my mom was able to maneuver just enough that nothing happened. I know the area in which where such a car is around and I want to at least do something back in retaliation for my mom's grief.
