What level of talking to yourself can be considered normal?
I usually talk to myself endlessly in the car, it's the only time I can do it without anyone listening.
I also do it absentmindlessly sometimes. Usually just short, meaningless phrases

Hi /adv/

I am still talking to my pissy, too young for me, ex. and it is making me feel like shit. She also is present in a group convo with my fave playmates.

our story is more than a wall of text so I'll only hand it out on request.

Should I just leave them for my other friends and never talk to her or should I try to take it up with her somehow? (she's pretty much an edgy teen at heart)

Why do I even bother loving at all anymore. I just get hurt and sad every time.
Getting close to not caring about anything anymore.
I don't know if I'd have the "courage" to kill myself, but if I was to suddenly get struck by lighting or get run over, I think I'd be more than happy with that.

Anyone have any experience with statues, marble,bust plaster etc?

This is going for $295 at a place nearby, there's a set of them ,it's a high end gardening store that sells some really nice antiques from time to time.

Anyone have a clue on the estimated price of an object like this? It's about 4 feet tall i'm guessing. Not sure on the material.

Can a recovery from a relationship crash landing ever occur? Sometimes make dumb moves and have to wonder if giving up would be easier to live with.

I've never kissed a girl but I did have a couple of dates, however I've never advanced past the first one. So, now I met this girl online and she seems to be actually interested in me, she's been giving me compliments, showing what we've got in common and the like. I asked her out, she happily agreed and we had a date today. We agreed on some coffee but after we actually met she suggested taking a stroll around the city which we did for two hours or so, it seemed fun and she laughed a lot. Neither of us have made any advances yet, however.
Tomorrow I'm going to tell her I enjoyed it a lot and we should meet again some time but I'm pretty scared right now. I'm not ugly and she seems to be exactly in my league but god damn, I'm way too afraid of her suddenly becoming all """busy""" or plain distant after that, I like her a lot.
So I wanted to ask you if there are any telltale signs of her being plain disinterested on a date. I want to mentally prepare for the blow, just in case.

TL;DR: Tell me how my date went because I'm autistic.

My girlfriend and I just had the ex talk. I've only slept with one other person ever, whereas she's just told me she's slept with 5 guys before me. I know it's completely ridiculous of me but I'm pretty upset at this. How can I stop caring about her past? As I don't want to say anything to her about it and I shouldn't be upset anyway.

Parents are heading towards divorce, father will make mother seem "unfit" to raise children in court. Father will claim that he has no money for child support or alimony as most of his money is overseas in banks and investments (I have scans of his legal documents to prove it if needed). Mother has been emotionally abused for a long time as he threatens quite often to leave her or kill her and children. We have no way of physically contacting a lawyer as father is well acquainted with many lawyers and thinks we don't know about his plans.

Father has often used mother's signature on legal documents without her knowledge or consent. Recently applied her for a 2 mil. life insurance without her knowing.

Please help me, I don't want to lose my mother and my siblings to this monster.

Whose fault was it? For example, was it my fault for having really high standards or was my host family really being cold towards us. Was it my fault for mentioning that I am disappointed with my host family a couple of times to my friends and family or was it my dad's fault for overreacting?

What do you do when you have absolutely nothing in common with virtually everyone you meet? Especially with the opposite sex?

Been struggling with this for ten years now. In-and-out of places for the first before giving up and staying at home and drinking multiple times a week. Regardless of what club, bar, meet-up groups, hang-outs, Facebook pages, forum posts, etc. I just can't find people who have enough things in common to base relationships on; regardless if we're speaking romantically or just plain friendships. Whether I feel I have nothing in common with them. Or, in most cases, they feel that way.

I'm thinking of taking 3 months off work next year to travel to the USA to find a job there (I'm from the UK).

Has anyone does something similar before? I'm sure I can convince some employer to employ me but I'm not sure how hard it is to get a work visa after that.
