>introduce bf to 4chan
>show him /gif/ and /wsg/
>past few months we've been financially and emotionally tense
>I'm the breadwinner but hadn't been making as much money due to being mentally sick
>forced bf to work his part time jobs a bit harder
>he was bitter and complained to friends about me
>mostly it was anger at himself for not having a degree or car to get better paying job
>finally medicated and am going back to work consistently
>nothing has improved between us besides me being less angry(meds) and him doing a bit more around the house w/o my prompting
>he broke my trust by promising a female friend she could stay at our one bedroom apartment for a week while telling me it would only be a few days
>had my suspicions and everyone around me could tell he lied
>whined to his friends about me 'flip flopping' when I stopped being a cuck and told her to go
>verified all this info by going through his phone
>we haven't been sexually intimate, maybe fucked twice this month
>notice in his history he browses /gif/ and pornhub
>some cam websites but unfortunately don't have access to his billing statements to see if he's stupid enough to spend money on them
>especially since he bitches all the time about how broke he is
>the timestamp for when he browses these are sometimes at night before I come home 11pm
>and other times at 2am, when I'm in the living room after getting home and browsing on my laptop
inb4 "anon you need to communicate"
I've done that a lot with many things. This is one issue that feels like a grey area and could be misinterpreted if I bring it up. I'd feel better knowing if the guys in relationships could just verify that porn-watching like this every night while I'm in the other room is completely normal.
In my past relationships if my exs were horny they'd usually initiate something or ask if I was in the mood, not just watch porn all the time...
>>17394778
>ask if youre in the mood
>Not just raping you on the spot
Not normal, he prefers porn over you. You won't dump him since you think you can change him.
>>17394778
I failto see how introducing him to 4chan is relevant to any of this.
been invited out to the pub by a friend, not too used to how ordering drinks works. What are some normal drinks that people buy on a night out? Obviously I'm fine with the beers and ales, but can you get stuff like JD/Coke in the form of shots? How do you ask for shots? Legit explain like I'm five.
>>17394756
Ordering memey shots makes you look like a doofus.
Stick with beer. Don't do shots with girls, ever, because you'll probably end up getting a disease from them. Always make sure you have a safe way home, and do not get trashed in a bar (safety hazard).
>>17394767
what's a memey shot and what's an acceptable shot?
>>17394756
Why JD/Coke in shots? Can't you ask for like a "rum and coke" and they'll go "is Pepsi ok" and you grunt, and they pour it in a glass for you, and you pay 8 quid and like it?
Stupid shit I order when I'm out around pubs with guys and pisses everyone off but they still do it (note: I have bad social anxiety, so I'm awkward, and femanon if that's relevant (guys tend to stick with bitter ales which are too 'iron-y' for me)):
- Rum and coke
- Gin and tonic
- Pimm's (if it's summer and they do it)
- fairly normal shit so far
- Bloody-Mary-but-with-gin-instead-of-vodka-make-sure-you-ask-cos-I-hate-vodka-please-here's-a-tenner
- Jamaican Mule (cue "wtf is that?" look) white rum and ginger beer (do u mean ginger ale?) w/e I'll have a cider instead
- Desperados but do you do the red one? Ok nvm
- Corona. Yea the bottle. K thanks.
- Who the fuck still does jagerbombs? Oh, ironically? Yeah I'm down.
jo guys can you help me? my pops drives a bmw e46 pic kinda related, it has a bluetooth function, he believes it works only for phone calls but I'm sure it can be used to listen to music. I said at least let me try it but he didn't let me, what should I do?
>>17394748
It's his choice to trust you or not. He clearly doesn't trust you. The least you could do is respect his decision, and listen to your own music when driving his car.
You must be at least 18 years old to post on 4chan
>>17394754
fuck off I'm 18, do you think everyone moves out and has an own car on his 18th birthday
>>17394752
I think he just doesn't want to be wrong
him sick of my life
What happened that brought this about?
If I'm getting 7-8 hours of sleep in a night and still waking up tired/need coffee to get alert, should I be concerned? Should I be aiming for maybe 9-10 hours? I hate being tired.
>>17394736
Sleeping more should obviously help.
Other things are stable sleep schedule, sleeping during the actual night instead of day, getting enough sunlight and exercise .
Need tips making friends as a girl. I'm 23 years old. Have a full time job. I'm very successfull so far. Make good money, benefits, etc. I'm average looking, petite.
I have a kind heart and would jump over oceans for my friends. Would like to think I treat people with respect, unless they treat me poorly. I'm introverted and shy but can be outgoing and fun if the vibes are right.
I have a few friends. One so called childhood friend exhibits jealousy and pettiness towards me so I'm very close to disown in her. She drinks and drives and does other stuff that I don't agree with and treats me like a second thoughts. My other friends are great but I don't see them much as they are busy which is understandable.
I'm looking to make new friends... just not sure how or where.. any advice?

Hey guys
Is an Applied Computer Science degree worth it? Does it have the same rep as the general CS one?
I am going to uni this september and I have been accepted into the computer science programs at 3 universities. The thing is the name of the CS program at the most prestigious uni is called BSc (Hons) Applied Computer Science. Would that be a disadvantage when applying for work? I checked the course info and it is accredited but I am still woried.
Thank you

>CS degree
Seriously don't waste your time. Go straight for Maths, and come over here to MIT if you can get in. The industry is moving way too fast to waste time and if you are very solid in maths then you can do anything a CS major could.
Do you really want to spend $1800/credit and six weeks to learn how to write an array?
Then go for your MS in Applied Mathematics. See you at the AI lab.
What do you value in life?
What are your aims or what do you feel your purpose is?
What activities do you enjoy already and what would you like to try?

>What do you value in life?
My family
>What are your aims or what do you feel your purpose is?
Chill, have fun, and pass on my critical knowledge to my children
>What activities do you enjoy already and what would you like to try?
Everything.

Lynching niggers is fun, but it still doesn't offset their high birth rates.
I sweat a lot and it's affecting my life. Hell, it already affected my life.
I easily change 3 t-shirts a day and abuse that perfume like damn. Thinking about it lately, I'm pretty sure I've missed many opportunities including dates, relationships, appointments, parties, stuff like that due to my sweating issue. I'm not even that fat and I'm not even a nervous guy. My buddy is a fat nerd guy and I swear to god I never see him sweat even in summer while I'm literally soaked from head to toe.
It's been affecting my love life and social life as well, I've rejected my girls, many dates, it's literally killing my slowly.
I'm pretty sure I'll end up killing myself soon. I'm literally the only person in the bus sweating. Sometimes I just chill at home and I start sweating for no reason and I'll be damn I'm most comfortable at home.
I've been to the doc and everything is OK with me, even blood pressure which is usually higher for people who sweat.
What can I do man?
If you eat more organic, plants, meat without fat, and avoid grease. You will sweat less and it will not smell.
Grease, and high acid vegetable(like garlic) will make you sweat and smell more.
>>17394692
I'm vegetarian. The only "sin" that I do is drink beer from time to time, but I really don't fucking believe beer is making me sweat more than anybody else in the world.
The only cure so to speak is carry a handkerchief at all times and wipe my forehead. I noticed that I get really hot at face/head and my forehead gets really sweaty. But it's no cure, it's only a quality of life improvement, and only momentarily.
>>17394676
>I sweat a lot
>I'm pretty sure I'll end up killing myself soon
Eesh.
I'm female, 25 years old. I've started to look like a tired single mom, and I don't even have kids.
>tits sag, everything sags
>slightly overweight, fat rolls everywhere
>pale as fuck, so veins, spots, scars and all that shit are extremely visible
>dark around eyes, even if sleep enough
>everything I wear looks frumpy on me
I'm a poor student, so I don't have extra money for gym membership or equipment, expensive clothes and makeup, and things like that. But I need a complete makeover, I need to turn my life over right now. I just feel so sick and tired of everything and don't know where to start.
>>17394667
Try Yoga.
I had an ex girlfriend who did Yoga. Plenty of free Youtube channels dedicated to Yoga exercises.
You don't need a gym membership to get into shape. Eat healthier and be active. It won't fix all your problems, but it's a start.
>tits sag, everything sags
coconut oil
>slightly overweight, fat rolls everywhere
get more exercise, go for long walks
>pale as fuck, so veins, spots, scars and all that shit are extremely visible
Eat more protein, pale is better than leather skin
>dark around eyes, even if sleep enough
sleep more
>everything I wear looks frumpy on me
shop around more
There is no easy answer when it keeps to body care. Discipline and self control can turn almost anyone to an 8/10.
I will try to make it as short as possible. I am a programmer who makes his living developing web apps. I also happen to have zero social skills, have never had a gf and quite recently all my friends have left or married. I'm all alone now, except for my overprotective parents who think I'm doing pretty well in life. By the way, I still live with them.
At the same time, I'm a workaholic who obsesses over creating his own business and slaves away at his laptop creating new shit on a daily basis. The problem is, this lifestyle is burning me out. I'm constantly tired and feeling like shit. Although I considered killing myself, I don't think I'm going to because of my parents.
What I'm looking for is some alternative way of living: I don't need much money, all I need is a little more time to work on my projects, meet some new people and live somewhere else. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea what I should do to start a new life.
TLDR; a virgin dude looking to change his life. What do?
Move out of your comfort zone. Get new hobbies, give yourself a break and hang out with your parents from time to time. Its good to work with what you got. Build on it.
This is kind of a degenerate question, but are girls who don't wear badness on their sleeve good at sex? I mean, if they don't advertise it then what are the odds they are good? I don't require, but prefer women who haven't fucked 20+ guys. I'm 22.
>>17394654
It's funny because people automatically assume I must have fucked so many people when they learn from someone else that I'm bi, when I am actually inexperienced and terrible and nervous all the time. Put it this way- if those girls are genuinely "chaste", their lack of sexual experience will show in a bad way, although they might be able to make up for some of it, if they like you so much, that they are so eager. But already, most people are terrible at identifying who is "wearing badness on their sleeve" to begin with, what with their impression of me.
So what I'm saying is good luck with the chastedar, but there is no truth behind the whole "lady in the streets, freak in the sheets" thing. It's just a fantasy, for guys who like their girls to be goody to everyone but them. If nothing, there's a bad (for you) correlation.
Put in another way- when was the last time you were very good at something, yet hid your talent for no discernible reason? Most people flaunt what they're good at and got good through practice.
I fucked a girl who seemed really prude, but she turned out to be a freak in bed. She does everything I want.
Other way around she thought I was some kind of player who had fucked a bunch of women, truth is she was only my second.
>>17394669
Lets forget about the whole profiling thing, and assume I know how to size people up, because I have been successfully sizing people up for a while.
As for your bisexuality, I knew bisexuals in middle school, which doesn't really align with a, "Bisexuality means a lot of sex skill," mentality. Those girls and guys were probably inexperienced.
More on-topic, I don't see why having a lot of sex with the same few people would necessitate poor sex skills. Can't someone practice frequently with the same partner?
I want to self medicate. I currently have my parents' medical insurance even though I'm an adult because I'm unemployed and live with them. Because of some new law my insurance should cover this stuff but my parents wouldn't approve. Also they check literally everything I own ever since I had a suicide attempt.
Any general tips for this? Thanks.
Yeah, don't self-medicate yourself or you might find that you've been on a drug for five years that you should've stopped after three months, and now you have to deal with horrible withdraw symptoms for possibly years.
>>17394658
Well I guess I could get a doctor to be in control of it. Maybe I picked the wrong term since I may not necessarily have to self medicate. My main concern was getting it past my parents considering I'll be using their medical insurance for a while now (hopefully I get a job this month that isn't just a temp or unregistered job).
Thanks for the advice though! I know what you mean
>>17394689
don't listen to him just pop some percs and xannys and you're good
I feel like the most repulsive guy on the planet, /adv/. Girls avoid me like the plague, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
