Music production is one of those careers where a solid portfolio is better than a degree every fucking time.

I'm not saying definitely don't go to college for it. Sound design is probably better for getting an actual job. And school can help hook you up with internships and connections.

But if there's any way that you can just jump right in without school, I think you'll be so much better off--financially and professionally.

If you think you just HAVE to have a degree, and you really want to work in music, get one in business or marketing.

Also, the music industry is shrinking (internet piracy, streaming, etc.), so jobs are drying up.

Sorry, when did I say I wanted to be in production? Also I've been working on music already for over five years and it won't make a dent on me financially. My goal is to get a job in soundtracks and having a degree definitely helps more than saying "I'm indie." Why did I even come here for advice? Even when people try to give you a good answer here they fall flat on their face.

It's never too late! Surely, you will most likely be one of the older ones in your class but it's not the end of the world. Lost youth will ask you for advice and think you are cool for going after your dream or whatever you are attempting to do. Besides, bullying is non-existent in university. And why should you care if they do? You are there for a degree in the end so you can land the mothafucking job you want.

I take a lot of night classes and very often you'll see people in their 30s and 40s who've gone back to school to get a new degree. no one cares.

Why do ppl do this? If you want to get a sexy body literally read the /fit/ sticky. Stop binge eating and vomiting, eat proportional meals throughout the day supplemented with heavy weight lifting so you get a firm and curvy figure, or a strong and muscly figure if you're a dude.
Your body is not get the nutrients and register that it's starving, which means it eats into your muscles. Which is important to look sexy guy or girl. You're literally making yourself uglier by vomiting out meals, opposite of what your goal is.
If you really can't help it tell your doc and get to therapy and vyvanse. That'll clear your habit right up. If you're so dedicated to good physical looks that you'll make yourself vomit then redirect that urge to an actually effective way of looking sexier, exercise and controlled dieting

But really, you should seek help for sex/porn addiction. A lot of this stuff is accompanied by deeper psychological issues, and getting to the core of that is something we really can't help you with.

It will take a time for you to feel better and adjust to this. Don't worry about it so much, just focus on looking after yourself (eating well, exercise, time out doors, reading, generally keeping active). This won't make you feel instantly better, but it's VITAL to keep looking after yourself. You kind of have to be your own parent / treat yourself nicely at times like this.

Also, it helps to take a few steps back. You hurt now but the pain will pass, you'll have other meaningful relationships that will be better than this. My first relationship felt like the world had ended, looking back now it seems ridiculous but at the time it made sense. I know she broke up with you, but at least she was decent enough to break up with you rather than slowly make your life more miserable. Perhaps you won't understand that now, but a lot of people will tend to lead others on for fear of upsetting them.

If you're looking to date, try online dating. If you're at all reasonably attractive and have your life together, you'll get attention. If you don't have a spine you should take things fairly slowly since a lot of the single women at that age are bottom-of-the-barrel. Last thing you want is to jump into bed with someone kind of shitty and then feel like you're obligated to them.
