TLDR; Cousin emotionally cheated on husband, now getting a divorce. How do I work past my loss of respect for her to save our relationship?
My cousin (Abby) is getting a divorce from her husband (Sam). They have two kids together (the boy is 6, the girl is 5). They've been married for right at 7 years.
This divorce is completely Abby's fault. They moved out of state when they married. Sam is a full-time manager at a company with great benefits, however he has to work weekends/holidays and that puts a strain on the relationship. Sam is a wonderful person and he is head-over-heels in love with Abby.
Abby had her two kids about a year apart and became a stay at home mom (previously she was in school for nursing). She was super depressed and run down from raising two kids. She picks fights with Sam constantly about nothing. Sam is a great dad. When he comes home from work, he plays with the kids. He lets Abby take a break from "being a mom".
Fast forward to last year. The kids are in school and Abby wants to start college to continue her nursing degree. She starts small, takes Paramedic classes and volunteers at the local station. She loves it! She's not home as much, but she's losing weight and feeling better about herself.
(Now the fun begins.)
She meets a guy (also a volunteer EMT) and starts getting emotionally involved with him. But, and these are her words, she hasn't cheated because they haven't kissed. This goes on for several months.
Within the last month, Abby and Sam have sold their house. They are separated, but not yet divorced. Abby now lives in an apartment. She is still seeing the "other guy".
I'm against divorce. I'm completely against cheating, be it emotional or physical.
Abby and I grew up together. We are 2 months apart in age. I know we'll never be super best buddies again, but there is still a strong desire to save mine and Abby's relationship. How can you do that when you have lost sooo much respect for someone?

Here's the deal:

>started working at local company in January
>hired to work in 18 month project wrapping up in June 2017
>June 2016, fiancée is offered dream job on other side of country
>she moved out there last week while I stayed behind to work and tie up loose ends
So that's grounds for leaving right?

>switches gears to say that, because I often leave early (which she approved) I am making a "bad impression" that I'm only giving 75% effort to the company and they want 110% (but not more pay)

Most days I get my work done by 10:00 and twiddle my thumbs for six hours. It's to the point that I invent work for myself or do non-work odd jobs for other employees just so I have something to do. And management won't give me more work, but expect me to do more.
Today was my first day back after a week away, and you'd think the work would be piling up, right? There's a reason I'm posting on 4chan at 9:00 AM. There's fucking nothing.
Am I right to put in my two weeks? I'm miserable here, my fiancée was the only thing making it worthwhile. Will it hurt my career to leave now?

Luckily money isn't a problem right now and there's a lot more opportunity in my new area. If I don't get a job immediately, I can study for VMware, CCENT or MSCE.
And yeah, being bored at work sucks. I spend most of the time on my phone because it's an open office. People are always looking in my direction from the back and front. I have to make an effort to avoid constant eye contact, and people are looking over my shoulder.

My brother got married 6 years ago to the first woman who let him touch her. He was a puppy dog to her. They had a child. One year later, she cheats on him and says she's a lesbian. She also doesn't care about the child and shoves him off on other people whenever she can. He stays, despite the rest of us telling him to get the fuck out with the kid.
A year later, she moves to Alaska (without her kid btw), saying she wants to take a new job there. My brother stays behind because he has a career where he lives, and also wtf? A year after she left, she is pregnant by a 19 year old Army kid. She's 31 by the way. She is still married to my brother.
A year later, in present day, she wants nothing to do with her original child, and is still married to my brother. He will not divorce her, for whatever reason. She has told him to his face she won't come back. When asked why he doesn't get this shit straightened out, and get full legal custody of his kid, he just ignores everyone and changes the subject.
Yet he posts on FB every day about how depressed he is and how fucked up his life is. He just wants to cry, not actually change anything.
There are a lot of people in this world who don't want to change. And it's not worth your time or energy trying to make them. Abandon your futile quest.

Question for those of you who have traveled a lot in East Asia. I have money and am ridiculously interested in visiting countries like South Korea, Japan, and China but I have a bit of a dilemma.
I'm full-blooded Native American, and since most of us are fucking dead I'm mistaken for being some sort of Southeast Asian all of the time. I distinctly remember some Vietnamese ladies attempting to speak to me in Vietnam when I was little.
I know that there's a stigma of being dark, that those who are dark are lowly, uncouth, unclean and poor. I've also heard of some discrimination towards Southeast Asian workers outside of theit home countries.
So my question is; will I be treated like shit in Asia? I have double-eyelids so I'm hoping this might help distinguish me as an international foreigner, but I honestly have no idea.
Advice and or stories?
