Okay, take all this with a grain of salt, because I have crippling social anxiety and haven't the courage to actually fix my issues, but hypothetically, I know how to do it. Like any other psychological fear, it's all about desensitization.

First, be comfortable just sitting around people. Alone.

Go into a very public place, maybe a restaurant, somewhere with a lot of people--couples, groups of friends, etc--and just sit there alone. Don't look at your phone once. I've tried this and it was nearly impossible.

After this it's all about killing your fear of rejection, so basically trial and error 1000000x with random women. Sounds terrifying, right? Well, it's the only way.

I don't know which state you live in but in Florida I can go to community college for the first 2 years for $0 out of pocket because of the pell grant, and then transfer to a highly ranked state university for the next 2 years of my major for $26,000. $10,000 of that would continue to be covered by the pell grant leaving $16,000 to deal with via scholarships and grants and as a last resort, loans.

The people with immense debt are idiots who do their entire 4 years at a university without any scholarships or grants. They're the kind of people who go to places like

where they spend $200,000 for their degree.

I believe loans should be a last resort. That said, you should consider the timeline of where you want to be in the future. Taking one or two classes a semester for 10 years will be ridiculously expensive in the long run, and although you won't be in debt by the time you graduate, it will still take you 10+ years to get a good job in the career you're working for.

If the career you want is lucrative enough, paying off your loans each month won't be a problem at all. And if it works out, you'll be in that career way sooner than 10+ years.

You're basically either paying for it now and reaping the benefits way later, or pay for it way later (plus interest) and reap the benefits sooner

First of all, just make a bump key. Second of all, no. It's pretty unlikely you'd damage the lock with a bobby pin. If you were that concerned, just check the pin travel. The most likely thing you'd screw up is marring the pins up, and have them seize in the cylinder.
