Hello /adv/
I recently got ghosted and had to officially end it myself over text. It's not something I wanted to do but felt forced to end things in a more 'official' way to stop tormenting myself. Problem is I still feel like absolute shit and would do anything for a final goodbye. Unfortunately you can't force people to do things and all my attempts to get to end things in face to face are ignored. How do I move on? If I'm not crying like a little bitch I'm off drinking until I pass out. How do I stop destroying myself over this?

ive seen this girl for like 4 weeks now. things are going pretty smoothly, we dont talk/text frequently enough but we meetup quite a bit so it sort of balances out. anyway, this girl wont initiate anything. like she never texts first, never goes in for the kiss first, never initiates sex first. she also doesn't seem to like looking me in the face?? (this seems more like a confidence thing). wtf do I do. is she actually interested in me or stringing me along? She said "I dont ever go first" etc, but like, if your actually enjoying the relationship surely you'd want to initiate some stuff right? It kinda feels like I'm just constantly reaching out to her. She does reciprocate most the time, she hasn't brushed that many times or stopped me from doing something.

How often do you normally talk to the girl you are dating on text? been dating a girl for a few months. typically we will only talk to eachother a bit on text but sometimes we will spend all day texting. I feel as though most days we have fuck all to talk about so the conversation become forced so we stop texting for that day.
I try to get conversations going but her responses are often shitty. She has randomly apologized in the past and said she simply doesent know what to say.

Weird situation with current GF (dating for 3 months, she 24 years old, me 30). She lives about 1 hour from my city and we meet mainly during weeknds. Her mother died in July, and she is currently living with her father. She generally preferes to visit me.
Two weeks ago she was thinking about breaking up, being afraid to commit, but wanting something more.I was quite clear that I like how our retlationship is developing, and would like to have something more serious After few deeper discussion we finally met yesterday - she suprised me with her visit. We had great time together and best sex so far. Aftarwards We spend some more time together when were going to train station, so she could catch train home. At the end we made plans that she will come next Friday for the whole weekend.
She started texting me immidiately how much she enjoyed our time together, sex, and how much she missed me during time we did not see each other. Then she texted me again in the eveing and ended up saying same things as before.
Today in the morning (6 am) she woke me up with the text saying, that if I were thinking about visiting her during weekend I should not come. I joked that I had woke up so early, so I can visit her, but later added that I know that she has some work to do at home. Afterwards she mentioned that her father is angry on her, because of hickey on her neck.
During the whole discussion she was much colder than yesterday. We usually exchange texts every few hours max, but so far she remains silent.
Any advice what might be going on and how to proceed? I know that she might be a bit angry about the hickey or her father might said something. Should I resume contact later today/tomorrow morning?

Not yet. I met him once, briefly intruduced myself and he left (he had some work to do). I did not have many chances to bond with her family, due to the fact that usually visits me and I have been there once. Whenever I am proposing that I will visit her, she asks me not to.

My friend says it would be the latter and I insist it is the former. Anything outside the brackets acts as a coefficient, right? It multiplies everything inside.. Doesnt it?
If it is infact the latter, could you explain why?
