Hey /adv/, I was driving 49 MPH in a 25 MPH zone, I was given a citation, and an optional court date. The officer explained that if I were to go on the court date I could pay the fine and be given an online course to remove the ticket from my record (first one), I'm under 21 and was wondering what to expect, and how long it would take to actually go through this process, is it like a real court? Or do I just show up, and plead guilty? I just want to know what to expect, thanks for the help /adv/

I've graduated college, but I'm still living at home (my commute is 10 minutes so I figured why not, save money for awhile, etc). I have more than enough money to move out. I feel like living at home is keeping me from doing things that I would potentially enjoy. I'm not certain about that though. I might not enjoy anything I try. I don't enjoy anything I used to enjoy anymore. The only thing I even slightly enjoy now is going to the gym, and I've been going for about 6 months. I think I enjoy it because I'm getting out of the house.

It's not that I didn't plan for anything, it's just that everyone told me to focus on getting out in four years. I did that despite switching majors so much, but that meant that my whole life was school (even the summers).

So now I have no experience and no obvious career goals. I feel like CS would be a good step but I have no experience in that except for basic jave (like barely the fundamentals) and an intro C++ class.

Any advice y'all have woulf be greatly appreciated, especially people with years of working under their belt.

Is there any way I could scrape together a few hundred GBP from people online? I am at university in the UK and really struggling I work 2 part-time jobs and still cannot afford the cost of living.
