I just got a text from my mom (we don't like each other) telling my my aunt (we don't really interact with each other) is going to press charges against me for selling her property.. which apparently I had in my possession when my dad died back in 2012. In 2012 I was selling off scrap metal to try to clean up the property I inherited from him. Supposedly it was some old farm machinery.
Should I be worried? Does she have a legal leg to stand on? I don't know how she could possibly have any proof the item was ever here. Even if it was, I wasn't aware it belonged to her.. I can't even remember anything like that being here but I was kind of fucked up over my dad dying at the time.
I live in Texas for reference on local laws..

Why are people so pissed off about Brock Turner not getting more time in jail?
I mean, I know why. He's white and committed one of the worst crimes possible.
Despite that, I don't think it matters how long he's in jail for because his life is going to complete and utter shit outside of jail. The girl he raped didn't even remember what happened until she read about it online or in the paper.
I don't know. I just think it's an odd situation. He deserves to be treated like shit but at the same time it seems unfair to deny someone a second chance at becoming a better person.
I also have a weird perspective on the matter because of an experience I had at a party in high school. A girl and I were making out while high/drunk and she kept telling me to get her belt off. She kept saying it and saying and I kept getting more frantic because she was. Eventually she raised her voice and said stop. As soon as I realized that she hadn't been telling me to hurry up with her belt, I stopped. Immediately. I was so high and drunk that I confused "stop" with "hurry up."
I know that both scenarios are very different, but I can understand that Brock might have been so drunk that he was completely unaware of what he was doing.
Again, I'm not defending rape or victim blaming or anything like that. The whole situation with Brock has done nothing but propagate pain, regret, and hatred. I just feel weird about it and obviously can't talk about any of this with anyone I know.

I'm going to uni next year (taking a gap year right now) to study CS or Physics. I don't know which one to pick. I'm interested in both, but I'm afraid CS will land me a code monkey job and physics will force me to work in an unrelated field. I'm not really "passionate" about any of them, but I find both interesting.
I guess my ideal jobb would be working for an interesting company/institution like SpaceX, CERN, NASA, Google, etc doing something that actually matters, like sending rockets to Mars or building cool platforms that people will actually use or AI, and not some bank app or researching measurement techniques or working as a lab tech or anything.
I have no idea what to choose and I'm stuck. Any advice?

Why not go for engineering? It's a decent mix of the two subjects, and you can choose to work with either specialism while mostly having creative freedom.
Otherwise, all I have to say that universities in general will focus on one thing for physics, and that thing differs between universities; mine likes to focus on sterile conditions for delicate machinery construction, and uses of lasers.
If you don't like coding, do neither of these three; some point down the line you will have to use MATlab, or C, or C++, or Java etc.

Hey guys,
I come to you today with a fairly loaded question. So the TL;DR first:
Should I do a parasite detox and then do LSD, or vice-versa? Let me explain.
Whenever I do a parasite cleanse I can’t help but start to REALLY feel my entire body again. My thoughts are clearer and my internal voice and thoughts are pointed towards me without using another person symbol to represent myself in my own head (if that makes any sense).
While detoxing does take a toll on me, I feel like my mind cleaned out in a way. I want to try LSD with a clean body and partially stable mind. Also, this would (hopefully) be my first time taking LSD this wasn't a dud. So I could potentially get some real insightful information from this trip.
Has anyone ever done any hallucinogens while in the process/before/after a detox? How did fee or work out for you?

So my last girlfriend and I broke up in July. We weren't together for long. We had a pretty intense fling that went way too fast and crashed over one silly fight. I felt disrespected by her but I still remember the good parts of our relationship. I don't hold it against her or resent her. I even shot her a message over Facebook like a week ago wishing her luck this semester because I knew she was taking on a lot of work. She just said "thanks, you too" so I didn't think anything would come of it.
Well fast forward to today. She's in town and she came to my cafe with her sister. There's one five minutes away from her house, there are ones she likes more than mine, there are ones that are less busy with shorter wait times, but she came to mine. To play devil's advocate, she might not have known I was working since I'm driving a different car.
I waved to her and she smiled at me but I was super busy. She was glued to her phone while she waited, not even acknowledging her sister who's basically her best friend. (She was watching me work the whole time though). I told her real quick while I was toward the front about something shitty and life-changing that had happened and she said "Oh, that's lovely" and not much more because my coworker started asking me for help right after. After that, I saw that she was watching me work until her drinks (that I wasn't making) came out and she left. Outside of that truncated story I told her I didn't even look at her because I was too busy.
Why the hell was she there? Was there an actual reason? Am I thinking to hard? Should I contact her? Maybe just a "hey, nice seeing you today"

Well to be fair we were slammed and I was half way across the store for most of it.
I posted this pretty much right after I got off work though. If she did want something she'd have messaged me or something by this point I'd assume, unless she took my ignoring her the wrong way. Who knows? I'd think she'd avoid going there, I would think she'd avoid looking at me instead of watching me, or sit somewhere in the lobby, but it really doesn't matter at this point.

Okay guise I need some help.
I'm a U.S. citizen, I'm a gay male, 21 one years old. I am also a citizen of Mexico, where I happen to be right now. I've been living here for about two years now.
