I used to be an introvert and I am now trying to become more extroverted and expand my social circle. Sometimes I try to chat with a person I've just met yet we just couldn't really get past the small talk stage. Like I feel like it's always me asking questions and initiating the conversations and the other person tends to be give brief answers and nothing more. Why is it so difficult for me to befriend them? Is it my problem, their problem, or the fact that there is just no chemistry between us?

Sure, it will make her fall head over heels for you in the long term (but most likely not on tinder.), but the secret to getting a girls pants off fast is to appeal to their emotions. Be everything they want, or at least seem like it in the beginning. It is easy to make good first impressions.

I'm at a point in my career where I need to invest time and $$$ in education if I want to advance any more.
I'm a software QA engineer. I make $80k/yr before taxes, full medical+dental+life, stock options, good work environment. I have an undergrad degree in mechanical engineering, and interned at a few research labs while at college.
The most obvious path is to stick where I'm at, keep making $, work hard, improve my computer skills, and either transition to software engineering or project/product management, whichever makes itself available. This might take 1-2 years, cost nothing to a few grand, and have me making $100k per year at least.
Alternatively, I could go to grad school. I previously applied and got into some of the top 50 programs in mechanical engineering, but declined for personal reasons. I think I would stand a good chance if I applied again. Fields that interest me are computer science (but I have no background and probably couldn't get in...), computational modelling, robotics, and bioengineering (I have a background in biomaterials but not genetics, which is where I think the future it). I might be able to get tuition remission and a stipend depending on the school I get into. I suppose it doesn't hurt to apply... But I'd be more interested in getting a master's degree, and financial support isn't as common for that.
The moonshot is med school. My overall GPA is 3.35. I took most of the prereq courses, but my grades there aren't amazing (mostly Bs, between C+ and A) and I would still need to take some biology courses (couple grand), shadow/volunteer, and study for/take the MCATS. Obviously this also has a fairly low success rate, and were I to succeed I would dedicate the next 7-8 years of my life to intensive study and probably graduate with $300-500k of debt.
Any thoughts? Ultimately I want to be making $100k+ after taxes, have zero debt in my late 30s/early 40s, do interesting work, help people, and have a fairly flexible schedule.

Well let's so some quick accounting here. Med school... Let's error on the side of caution and say $300k in debt (4 years, little over 30k for in-state tuition, 30k for living expenses). 4 year residency making about $50k/yr and deferring loans and accruing interest... Then a 10 year plan at 7% apr yields about $70k/yr in loan payments. Pretty fucking hefty, sure... But the salary an ER doc is around $275k/yr, or about $170k/yr after taxes. So I've be netting $100k/yr, yielding $50k/yr in saving easily since I live frugally. At the end of a 10 year repayment + 8 years of training, I would be around 45 with $500k in the bank, and I could easily cut back my hours and work part time.
At a $100k/yr salary ($65k/yr after taxes), living frugally, I yield $25k/yr in savings. Over 18 years, meaning I'd be 45 with $450k in the bank. Hopefully I earn more than 1 pay raise in the next 18 years though... But still.

Made a tinder yesterday and a girl messaged me, she was really forward and asked me to come over her dorm for some drinks.

I'm not an expert but as far as I know taking multivitamins isn't really a "must" thing and neither is it something you *shouldn't* do. Multivitamins will help you makeup for vitamin deficiencies you have in certain areas and stuff and whatever extra vitamins you have your body will either use or throw out.
But do note these do not give you energy. These help your body function. Calories are what give you energy and/or gain weight.

I have moved back to my city after working in another city for 3 years.
Most of my friends are married with kids or just stay home and drink/play video games. I am single and want to be more social, make new friends and hopefully meet a girl.
My friends don't like going out, so I'm thinking of going out alone.
Do you think it's crazy for me to go to bars and pubs by myself, and try make friends that way?
Tonight there is some Latin party in my city tonight and a lot of people are going to it (a lot of non-Latina as well). I'm thinking its a "safe"social event to go to alone and hopefully I won't look like a wierdo.

Just got off the phone with the police and confirmed that my buddy, who had recently started divorce proceedings with his cunt of a wife about a month ago, (they’ve both got lawyers but haven’t been in court yet) is sitting in jail tonight and will be going up before a judge tomorrow (probably via video) and I’ll find out then about bail and such.
Earlier tonight, a joint friend of ours called me and asked if I had heard from our buddy, as he had gotten a text from him from earlier in the evening asking for a place to crash for the night (last week he had slept at my place for two nights in a row, trying to avoid his cunt of wife) but he wasn’t responding to text replies.
I then called my buddy and it went straight to voice mail. Later, our friend had his kid text our buddy’s kid and the cunt wife responded (the kid’s phone is tied into her phone) and she claimed our buddy had spazzed out and kicked down an interior door during an argument and she had called the cops on him and they arrested him.
Can’t say I’m actually asking for advice, I just needed to talk about this with someone, as we had been worried earlier in the night that maybe she had killed him (completely possible with this bitch) and now I can’t get to sleep, as I’m worried about this will effect his divorce.

OP here, and I’m assuming the cops couldn’t arrest him simply on the cunt wife’s say-so but I find it hard to believe he would have actually done anything to justify having the cops called on him.
Everything about her says this was a fabrication and/or a set-up.
He knows she’s a crazy bitch (his lawyer has all kinda cell phone video evidence of her freaking out on him, plus bazillions of insane texts messages) and he was in the process of having the lawyers either get a court order to kick her out of the house or come up with someone kinda “time sharing” living arrangement, where he could see the kids and use the shower, laundry, etc. without her around.
He’s been living in the basement and sleeping on a couch for the last couple of years to avoid her and they’ve gone to marriage counseling and she’s supposed to be taking Zoloft, but apparently quit some time back and has been self-medicating by stealing their kid’s Ritalin.
