Ldr here Recently when we were having a discussion about our phone sex it came up that my boyfriend felt domming me was a chore and I felt very hurt about it. I'm not sure if we should have phone sex anymore or just leave it at that if it's tedious for them. What do?
>>17639758
Sounds like he's just being honest. If he doesn't enjoy it, then yeah, it's going to feel like a chore to him at best.
>>17639758
Can't you do anything else?
He either dominates you or you don't want to do that?
>>17639772
I mean, honestly I really like the animalistic primal aspect of domination. He doesn't seem to be animalistic or primal. Even if it was just phone sex it's a component I'd want there and he said domming was a chore soo. I tried dominating him the other day and he seemed much more into it but he keeps on enforcing that he's not a sub.
Hey /adv/, I'm currently at a shitty/mediocre school for maths (cardiff uni) and I'm wondering if I should retake my A levels (A*BC with B in further maths, not awful but below average), wasting a year, or just finish my degree and hope to do an msc somewhere better if I like it? Do employers for jobs requiring a degree in STEM mind if it's from a meh tier uni? Will I be working at McBurgerWay for the rest of my life?
Your grades will reflect your aptitude more than the University you attend. Networking hard makes up for any connections you might gain/lose as a result of your University choice.
Finish your degree and go to grad school elsewhere.
>>17639757
>Cardiff isn't meh tier
>Most employers don't give a shit unless it's Oxbridge
>Graduatee programs only accept "first attempt" A levels anyway
>You will waste 2+ years for no gain
>Just get a 2:1 and you're on par with any faggot from a Russel Group uni
Help me /adv/.
I'm my workplace, we are only two people in my department, me and an older girl (she's 27). She's like, the most blandest and boring girl I ever met. Since our job is really boring, and we have no other ways to entertain ourselves, I usually crack jokes with her, and we have a good time.
The problem began when she told me she was single. As she is older (27 years), I often flirt with her and say massive double entendres which she obviously gets, as she laughs or she gets quite playful and touchy (calls me pervert or sick, but in a playful maner). To be honest, I don't want nothing with the girl (maybe fuck her once, but that's it), I only try to make our work less tedious and figured that since she was old she would understand.
Now she told me countless times that she is single, yet she's seeing a guy (from the same workplace). She keeps repeating that he's not his boyfriend, and I understandly told her that once I knew they were officially dating, I would stop with the double entendres.
Yesterday, when I was leaving the offcie, I managed to heard the guy (whose post is in a next row from our's) looking at me at telling me, very subtly, "depraved". He must have heard all of the flirting, I figured, and since he wants something with the girl, he is understandbly mad.
What should I do, /adv/? The girl is right here, at my side (she doesn't understand english). I decided to go to work today and to be the most blandest and boring guy possible (no jokes) to see how she reacts. She thinks I'm upset at her or some shit.
Should I keep flirting with her, or should I stop doing doble entendres? If I stop I would bore myself to death.
Bumping this, what should I do in this situation /adv/?
You shouldn't make dirty jokes at work, period. This guy can easily report you to HR and get you in immediate trouble without your side of the story mattering for shit. It's just the way it works.
One time I got fired for telling a coworker I had known for three years "I'm so hungover I must still be drunk, haha."
One anonymous phone call later, and corporate called to fire me, and made my dad come pick me up. No appeal, nothing. Just no job.
Keep your jokes to yourself unless you are absolutely, 100% sure that no one else can hear you and that the other person is into them.
everything you say will be heard
burn this into your fucking mind
i had a serious illness in my late teen and early 20s was abandoned by my family & friends in the interim, and while i'm physically recovered i bear all the psychological scars of having my life FUCKED UP BY BULLSHIT.
hiring a counselor seemed the logical solution.
>oh anon you're just depressed that's why you don't want to do anything!
>what if the reason i don't want to do anything is because i'm sick of failing because my health is poor
>maybe you should exercise more
>i'm already doing that
>you should volunteer
>i do nothing but fucking volunteer
>your job's really okay it's good enough for now
>i can barely even drag myself to work every day, and it's totally inappropriate for someone with my iq and lingering physical limitations
>why don't you see voc rehab
>they're useless
>i don't know how to help you
>neither do i, bitch
they're all the same holy shit i thought seeing doctors was bad; these guys are at least 100 times worse.
>"STOP MAKING ME THINK AND COME UP WITH CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO YOUR MARGINALLY NONROUTINE PROBLEMS!!!111"
Maybe if you went into the sessions with a more open mind it might help. Mental health professionals aren't there to tell you how to solve all of your problems, but guide you towards reaching a more positive state of mind, and working out your problems from there.
People don't exist to wipe your ass for you.
>>17639735
positivity is great and all, but it can't change reality. in fact i think unfounded optimism has generally been detrimental for me.
i was hoping for a little insight. i'm only one person and my ability to analyze problems is limited by my own perspective. "eat right and exercise" such pablum is not useful. i already know that.
>>17639714
>>17639759
So what, exactly, do you want? Be specific.
So tomorrow i'm having a test and i am 99% sure i will get a question about: "What would you do if someone got sexual harassed at work?"
Can anyone help me, what would YOU do?
>>17639672
Inform the management.
>>17639679
Can you elaborate a little bit please?
stop being a cuck
Wondering if anyone can loosely diagnose me as seeing a doctor is a bit difficult at the moment
Current symptoms are
Constant headaches
Loss of appetite
Nausea
Visual hallucinations ( I keep seeing shit out of the corner of my eye, like faces and shit moving then when I look at the object its still and fine)
I don't really want to have to see the doctor but this is really getting to me
>>17639670
This sounds serious. Go se a doctor, right now.
Could be sleep deprivation.
>>17639680
This is a possibility for me because the past week I have been waking up after sleeping for only around 4 hours, I just go back to sleep and sleep for another 8 but every night I wake up in the middle of the night I'm not sure why as there is no noise or disturbances.
How dangerous is it torrent video games anons?
>>17639666
Nice 666.
Well I never NOTICED any problems using torrents but I torrent on some old computer that I can't tell if it's fucked up from viruses or from being old.
If you mean dangerous from the legal point of view... well I would be worried in the UK or fancy countries like that but I live in South America so piracy is the way to go :^)
>>17639669
this, if you live in any 3rd world country then you are good to go. Living in México, I've been pirating my games for 15-16 years, and I haven't had a single legal issue.
About viruses, try to run your AV before executing anything and you're ok
>>17639666
I live in Third world PooInLoo so I never had problems.
I can't really recommend pirating if you're in first world where legal actions can be taken.
Though I have heard that maybe using VPN will help. Who knows, maybe few other anons who live in first world who use vpn can tell you.
So I've been seeing this girl, we hooked up and hung out for a week afterwards. One day I ask her to hang out and she doesn't respond, so I text her again 2 days later and she responds saying she had been busy. I once again text her if she wants to hang out, and then she didn't respond again.
It's been a solid week since I have gotten a response, should I try one last time, or call it quits?
call it quits, no point putting any effort into it if it only comes from one side
>>17639642
That would be my normal response, however her best friend recently contacted one of my best friends to hang out, and they know their friend group knows we are good friends
>>17639650
i don't see how that's relevant though, it's not about you or that girl
i mean you can try to set up a "double date" or something and check with the friends to see if she's available but i don't know
>work with hot foreign girl
>she's cold at first but I get her to laugh a lot and eventually she starts opening up
>my gf breaks up with me and she was really nice, spent a day with me and made me feel pretty great about myself
>she has a boyfriend at this time and I wasn't interested in anything so relationship stays as is
>continue to get on really well with her
>she goes away for summer
>comes back recently, working at same place
>immediately we're laughing with each other constantly
>this time she's giving a lot more body contact, constantly touching me in some way or another
>lend her something and tell her to drop it off at my house when she finishes work and she seems excited
>chill out at my house for a bit, generally flirting and touching quite a lot, didn't escalate though
>tells me she broke up with her bf
>next day see her at work and we laugh/flirt again
how do I escalate this shit? whenever I message her she's /seems/ quite cold/standoffish but that might be a messaging thing
Whenever we are with each other irl we get on like a house on fire but I don't want to wait too long/have her think I'm not interested
>>17639603
Tell her you had fun the other night when you were together, and ask her if she wants to come over again some time to eat something.
You know were to go from there, right?
>>17639603
Is this thread just for bragging? She already went to your home. It shouldn't be hard to either go out and then back there or go "netflix and chill" at your place.
And if she doesn't like texting, then don't text. As her out dude.
>dating coworker
What could possibly go wrong?
So there's this girl in my club that I decided I'd start talking to, and we've actually been getting a lot closer. However, I don't know if she sees me as a good friend or is interested in me. It's rather odd because she throws her water bottle at me (only me), she has this odd glare and stares right into my eyes when we pass (not a smile), we constantly playfully insult each other and we share dark humor. I also make her laugh A LOT and even made her spit water out of her mouth at dinner. One night she rested her head near my shoulder for a good 5 minutes, not sure if it was intentional. She'll sometimes look at my face when I'm not looking, and sometimes she'll just zone out and not look at me.
Can anyone decipher/relate? I got rejected last week so I don't really feel like getting rejected so soon again.
is this bait?
its so fucking obvious even an autist like me can spot it from the damn moon
>>17639596
You won't know for sure till you ask her out.
Try to spend more time with her, alone with her if you can, and establish some level of physical contact.
>>17639596
She is showing interest, and even if she isn't interested, she can't blame you for reading too much into it.
Go for it.
I've just met a girl that is pretty much what I've always dreamed of. We seem interested in each other now but it's not a stable thing. Should I stop hooking up with other plates to see where this thing is going?
>>17639517
You are a faggot. Please kill yoursef.
>>17639517
definitely go for her
>>17639524
>red pill me
Can a person just lose weight by an accident without doing anything?
I was 54 damn kilos this morning and I thought I'd been maintaining 60.
>>17639507
Of course they can. More calories out than goes in and you lose weight. It happens easily of you're busy, stressed or otherwise occupied and don't notice that you're are eating less.
Your body is constantly burning calories 24/7.
How much calories per hour depends on your body (obviously, taller, more muscular person requires more energy, and thus will burn more)
If you've eaten nothing, then yeah, you'll lose weight. You'll weigh lower especially if you have empty bowels.
>>17639512
>>17639519
I'd been on hospital food for a few days (less than a week), does that really affect so much?
What does it mean when a girl rubs her foot up against your leg?
probably that she wants to have sex
congrats man, hope you are straight
>>17639496
ew lol foot dirty
>>17639500
Well shieeet.
My sister is trying to get me to do yoga. Sounds like it might be good for me. What does /adv/ think about yoga?
>>17639492
are you a guy or a girl ?
>>17639492
Try it if you like it keep doing it if you don't like it don't
>>17639492
I'm not OP, but I'm a guy and I do yoga 4 times a week. It's fucking great. Your posture and flexibility improve and you get this feeling of excellent after each session.
Plus I think women find a strong flexible guy hot, not sure tho. Ladies? You like a flexible strong guy?
So I work out and everything, have a nice schedule, but sometimes I find myself thinking what's the big deal? What am I doing this for? Not like I play a sport or anything. Yes there is the fact of having a healthy body, but why go further? I'm sure many of you here were inspired by something like DBZ or Yu Yu Hakusho, isn't it cool they train for a purpose? Along the way they have enemies to face, and need to get stronger to protect their friends. This is the real world though, so how do I get motivation? I need help bros, getting angry doesn't work and thinking of friends doesn't work. And only losers lift for girls. Please help
It seems like a legitimate question, why workout to a point beyond being six-pack fit and healthy? Seems like you've caught a meme.
Pumping just for gettin dem mirin is pointless, yes.
Do it because you like it or want to do it.
>>17639488
Maybe start a sport I'm which you benefit from working out, like martial arts or something? Competitive sports are generally a good motivator when it comes to keeping fit.
