So I just began cooking this summer when I moved into my new place by myself (roommates moved in August). I'm pretty lazy, so I've kept to making very simple and quick things like Baked Chicken. But apparently I'm really bad at this. For a while, I made some consistently good chicken, but at some point that stopped and its been coming out not so great recently. I don't know what I'm doing different. Hoping to get some advice.
So I just made some. I cook for myself, and I don't like storing chicken, so I make it plate at a time--1 to 2 breasts. This one I put 1.5 chicken breasts on a cookie tray covered in foil sprayed with cooking spray. I get my breasts from Wal-Mart, in frozen bags by 2.5 or 5 lbs.
I put them in for 10 minutes at 450 (preheated already), and then pulled them out to quickly put my dry seasonings on them. I put them back in for another 10 minutes, then pulled out the smaller breast. It didn't taste quite right. Cut into the other one to see its progress, still very pink inside. Put it back in for 5, still not done, then another 5. Still didn't seem perfectly done, but it wasn't pink anymore. Didn't taste right.
I've also had the occasional problem of pulling them out of the oven and the smoke from the oven set off my fire alarm in the next room. I don't know if this is because the window and other door happened to be closed, if I legit did something wrong, or what. In my ignorance, I have decided that it was due to lack of water in there from de-frosting the chicken, which is why I put it in frozen. I realize that takes longer, but its worked before.
Does anyone have any advice on how to make consistently good chicken or how to prevent the smoke alarms? I'll admit that living in fear of that going off for no reason doesn't help my cooking. Thanks.

Don't bake frozen chicken, thaw first. Also, your cooking it at too high a temp. That is a good way to dry it out. Bake at 375 for 30mins.

There's a grill in my math class I wanna chat up but I have no reason to go where she sits.

hey guys, does anyone know if a seller can cancel a refund that has been listed as 'completed' or re-open a paypal case once it has been closed?
I'm trying to get a refund from a shitty dealer, I won the dispute on paypal when they agreed to give me a refund without returning the items since they didn't want to pay for shipping & handling, and the transaction showed up in paypal as a refund that was "completed." This morning I wake up to an email telling me that the company changed their mind and want me to pay for S&H for the parts back to them. They said they called paypal on their end and put a hold on the refund until the parts arrive back to them. I checked paypal and can't find anything in the messages or resolution center. The refund is still the only thing in my activity list and it's still listed as completed. Are they just trying to scare me into returning the parts? Can I safely wait and not do anything if the case has already been closed and the refund completed on my account? It hasn't been credited to my card yet though.

My landlord is trying to stick me with a water bill for a split rental property.
I rent the upstairs and the separate basement suite downstairs (has a lock, separate heat and gas meter) has been vacant since April 2015.
He is just now attempting to get me to pay the water bill, and while I know I SHOULD, but do I legally have to?
I have signed no contract stating that the water was to be paid by me. Actually I haven't signed a new lease in a while (a year since it ran out,).

girls, need an opinion on this strategically-geopolitical issue:
average looking guy, excellent shape, mostly outdoor hobbies, been in long term relationships before,
but... absolutely no real close friends. How much is it suspicious/a deal breaker?
Now I don't mean some forest hermit, there is daily interaction with pals/coworkers/whatever, from time to time public events, but never the center of the party, prefers being alone and used to doing things solo/with gf only. Is it automatically a red alert?

Still being an unclever pussy I see. I straight up tell each and every one of them that I have 0 social media and I want it that way so I'm not bothered 24/7, feel the need to keep up with every person's fucking posts, or have 24/7 distraction.

Just had a great first date with a cute guy, and now I have to think of something we can do for the second date.
He studies Human Sciences (a mix between biology, geography, and some other disciplines), so I figured that maybe we could visit an awesome surgical collection/museum I know and get lunch or something after.
Possible issues:
-Maybe a place which literally has 3 rooms devoted entirely to foetuses in pickle jars isn't the most romantic?
-Maybe lunch is too intense? The first date was just 90 minutes of coffee and chitchat.
What do you guys think? Is this an okay plan, and if it isnt what do you suggest we do instead?
