Why am I so "extreme", /adv?
I come from a regular, middle class family, and yet I've ended up a sex-crazed pervert, fapping constantly, and always feel like "the eccentric" in every situation I'm in. Six weeks into life at uni, and my room is a complete wreck, worse than the average student, and I'm not turning up to lectures due to a desire to sleep in. I'm literally like a cartoon caricature of a slacker.
All through my life, I could never just be "average". I always had extreme obsessions that earned me a reputation among my peers (dinosaurs, space, whatever), was considered some sort of savant when it comes to literacy, but also had these polar extremes of weakness. I was always excruciatingly bad at athletics of any kind, I was renowned at my retail summer and weekend job for my incompetence, and, as previously stated, my peers at uni are all shocked with my attendance record.
Why can't I just do as they do?

Got drug tested at work eight days ago. I had been clean from weed for 26 days at that point. The drug test results have not been mentioned to me at all since I took it, and as I said, it's been 8 days.
I took five drug tests later that day just to see if I would pass them, and I passed all of them. Does that mean I should be in the clear? Am I worrying for nothing? Halp.

Anyway, when I spoke to her, she said "you and I are never going to have sex" very plainly. Therapists are not unfamiliar with this behavior, you can bring it up to her if you feel comfortable, but understand it should be in a clinical fashion. Therapists are professionals, they will not sleep with you.

Smoked weed and hash heavily for 7 years, the past two extremely heavily. Three times a day or so. Now I've been clean for four months and i have very little short term memory left and it's like I've lost the ability to learn. My breathing is often very shallow and I'm tired all the time, with insomnia. Anybody here with the same predicament, or have experience? I just want hope to function in society again.

Hey /adv/,
So the other week I went out with my girlfriend and her friends to a bar for some crappy trivia night and was made a little uncomfortable when one of her male friends kept calling her a bitch. In a joking way, and my girlfriend was laughing about it and I spoke to her about it later and she's completely fine with it, but hearing someone say 'shut the fuck up bitch' to your girlfriend in front of your face is never a nice feeling.
I'm fairly certain that's just what this guy thinks is funny, and he's not flirting or deliberately trying to be an asshole. He seems like a nice guy otherwise. Regardless though, I just don't like it. Mainly for selfish reasons too - I know it doesn't bother my gf so really I think it just hurts my own ego that I'd let somebody say something like that to her regardless of context.
Anyway, we're doing the same thing again tonight and this guy will be there again, so what should I do? Just learn to deal with it and keep quiet? Or should I pull him aside and say that I don't like it? I told my gf I didn't like it and said I might talk to him about it next time and she didn't tell me not to, but it didn't sound like she'd like that - I guess just because she didn't want to start any drama when she doesn't mind.
So what do /adv/? Also, as a general rule, do you think this kind of thing is ok or should it be stamped out
