Ultimately no, because nothing is worth killing yourself over because nothing is worth it and life is meaningless.

On the other hand, if you say it's a missed opportunity then it means that you'll have other opportunities, none of which you can take if you kill yourself over this one.

If you think about it suicide is the biggest possible loss of opportunity. So it's pretty illogical to willingly lose more opportunities simply because you lost one.

you need a replacement strategy, and you need to understand what drives you to masturbate

I masturbate to relieve anxiety and avoid problems, so the first thing is to find a replacement behavior for this coping mechanism, eating chocolate, working out, playing a game, anything that produces dopamine and other habit forming chemicals in your brain will work well

The second thing is to stay away from places that tempt you. If you were addicted to alcohol, the worst place you could live is at a liquor store. Unfortunately with masturbation you are surrounded by "liquor stores" in the form of websites, one solution is to simply avoid using the computer as much. Obviously this isn't that viable this day in age so simply avoiding "triggering" websites will help. 4chan is full of lewd posts, so I'd start by not coming here.

The third and perhaps most important thing is that addictions always have a background reason. You need to think hard and resolve any traumatic events that happened to you. Come to terms with any grief you have. Reduce the negative feelings, reduce the addiction.

If you care about him enough, talk to him about it like an adult. I don't know why you are asking such a stupid question, do people grow out of treating people like shit? No, not really, not normally in adulthood. Sometimes people just have to have that one person they treat like shit and never do it again.

I've had people coming to me before, and it's been going fine so I'm surprised about that.

He's the first with such a sketchy plan though. His whole idea is "we've got big plans to create a growing industry in our part of the world and you can be part of the dream." Which sounds nice and all, but it still doesn't put food on your plate to do that the way he's doing it.

I guess my biggest question would be if anyone here knows of such a precedent of basically doing a contract where you're getting your money when it starts generating profit through promotion, goodies, and adaptation deals.

My friends have been telling me a few different things that it could be:
1. She's seeing another guy
2. She was expecting me to text first and set up the time for her to come over that day
3. She doesn't want to be in a relationship right now

Thoughts? I was really getting a pretty strong impression that at some point in the not-too-distant future we were going to be exclusive. My core group of friends met her and thought the same thing about the situation before all of this went down.
