I'm looking for some advice on how to get out of a bad share housing situation.
I moved into the place about 18 months ago and was sub-letting at first. About 6 months in I had to become one of the co-signed on the lease. I never saw any kind of condition report form, which is an issue because the house is in a very bad state structurally (walk cracks etc.) and it has years of dirt built up from before I moved in.
In the past this hasn't been a problem for people leaving because they have just got the new housemate to take over their lease. However it is a problem for me because all the other residents also want to move out at the same time, which means the whole place will get an inspection from the owner/agent. Given that the owner/agent has been pretty unscrupulous in the past I'm worried they'll use this opportunity to try and get me to pay for repairs and cleaning of shit that was there before I even lived there.
I'm not trying to escape my obligation to clean my room and get the rest of the house back to the standard it was at when I moved in. What I AM trying to avoid is getting lumped with the task or cost of many days worth of cleaning mess that I didn't make in order to get the house back to inspection standard.
So my question is, is it possible for me as an individual to get off the lease before the rest of the leaseholders? If so, how do I do this? I accept that there will be a cost cut I'd rather eat a few weeks of rent money than not be able to rent another property for the next few years.

Yes, take a look at your lease. There'll probably be some sort of penalty or you'll have to continue to pay rent even if you're not living there

This I would be OK with, but I should add that of the 5 people leaving there only 3 are on the lease. The other two are foreigners on a short term stay who will just skip out and leave the remaining 3 of us. The other two are also foreigners and are planning to move cities, so they might also just bail out and leave me holding the bag. I'm the only one with a real job so I have a lot more to lose.

To make it simple, we were in an untold relationship as it started as fuck buddies but went serious without anyone of us acknowledging it. For me because it was about all of the red flags and for her because she was still (and still is) in contact with her ex and not admitting that she had still feelings for him (oh, a red flag).
I always wanted to gtfo of this relation but I was hooked up on sex. Fast forward month later, she goes on vacations alone and then, surprise, meet her ex and it happened. Her ex live on a different continent and she couldn't handle a long distance relationship... Well, she's not doing so bad it seems. So needless to say that our relation was only sex and lies from her side.
Anyway, I had to move in at her place because of work (recently unemployed) and I can't afford anything else. It's humiliating but a great motivation to find a job.
I've been here for less than a week and I feel like shit. Because when she cheated I realised that I had more feelings for her than I expected and I know she's still in contact with that coward cunt and lying is pleasant habit for her.
I'm not planning to win her back or anything else. I just hate this situation, the casual sex is good but feels worthless. So if anyone have any tips on how I should react until I find a job and get out, that would be extremely helpful. So far I can:

Hey adv, I just turned 19 today and got some birthday money from friends and family.
I decided that I want to use that money to update my computer.
I have an 2011 HP Pavillion model p7-1254, and I don't know much about computers and what to update or upgrade; how to update or upgrade; or if there's certain parts that only my motherboard can use.
I use my computer to listen to music, work with photoshop and play video games.
I recently bought Overwatch and when I play, my computer doesn't seem to want to process the graphics right nor does it want to play smoothly without latency issues.
It's also very difficult when I'm resizing a digital painting in Photoshop without having it lag and and having me wait for a minute in order to get one brush stroke.
What should I do? Do I need to get better parts and add on to my computer, do I simply get a new computer?
I'm not so sure how I want to execute this since I'm very oblivious to how different motherboards, processors, ram, and so on, go together with other parts.
How should I go to making my performance better without raging that my computer is buggy or isn't working?

Hey /adv/, I'm 24 years old and I'm going to take a driving test this Friday. As you can guess, I don't have a driver's license and I'm trying to move forward in life. I joined the Air Force and signed my contract, but not completely. I still need to get my MOS (job). The thing is the desired job that I want requires a driver's license. Now that you see my dilemma, I came to you guys to see if you have any helpful tips on passing this test. I already read the driver's book 3 times if that means anything.

I need advice and i dont really know where else to go but here, everyone has given me their opinion and point of view but more insight never hurts. So i want to deport my father, i live in ecuador and he illegaly married a united states citizen just for the greencard. now i this was in 2011 and he doesnt live with the supposed wife, he lives with his girlfriend from another country. now i would be cool with it but now im just fed up that he doesnt pay child support and im about to enter university and i got no money i asked for 100 dollars to buy some study materials and he just gives the same excuse, that he has no job and no money, but i can see from facebook that he has a new car well worth around 100k and his designer clothes. so i just need advice about how to do it. and if i should do it. hes hurt our family and abandoned us and i just want him to pay. I started a new job which involves a lot of running for 6-8 hours straight without breaks. Tomorrow is going to be 98F (37C for you non-burgers...Arizona only has nice weather for 2 months of the year unfortunately). Which is pretty illegal and they're probably only getting away with it because the other guys are also young and don't know the law.
My first day (yesterday), someone didn't show up to work so I was pretty much fucked because there was nobody else to do the job which meant I couldn't have a break. I only got a 30 minute lunch break after working for 5 hours.
Today wasn't as bad because there were more people to help out and I worked for 6 hours through the pain for 4 hours before taking a single 30 minute lunch break.
Tomorrow they want me to come in for 5 hours and I physically can't even walk and getting into the shower was a struggle.
I don't know what to do because they'll expect me to perform at 200% and shit for less than minimum wage. I'm only doing this job until I find something better, but I honestly don't think I can do it without any rest.

So about 4 years ago I found out my ex was pregnant after we split. We never used a condom, and we fucked a LOT. but I never came. I'm on meds, an SSRI, ever since i was 18 - and i've never been able to cum during sex. Thing is, i was not aware at the time that precum can, in rare cases, lead to a pregnancy. Long story short i swore up and down that she cheated on me, she never fully denied it but she never said I wasn't the father either. Well, a year or so down the line and we're trying to be together again, to give the little girl a future with a family. Her mother grew more and more distant from me and my family over time, but I got to see the kid every Sunday for a long while, Christmas and her birthday, Easter and such so she could hunt eggs and get chocolates. Time passes by, I decide "hey, if she's going to just continually disengage from this situation i should probably have a DNA test done". So we order a swab kit, we take the test, I do my part at home. She does hers at her house, and I never saw her perform the test personally. Get the results back weeks later - Negative. I should add at this point that, this little girl looks just like me. She had my eyes, my hair, my cheeks and my forehead, and her mothers' nose and chin. When I found out about the results of this test, I went into my room and layed across my bed, she comes in and lays down beside me, trying to comfort me; reassure me that everything will work out the way it's supposed to. It took me a while but I tried, so hard to continue living with this fucking mess and keep them both happy - I got a job, I started buying them things, and I didn't care if the kid was mine or not. I just saw something in that little girl that I used to see in myself. Innocence, happiness, curiosity - a light that lit up my whole dark fucked up world. I used to take her outside and walk through fields with her, we'd sit down in the rocks and throw them around and she'd laugh. just like I used to do at her age.

Asks if I still want the blood test - She starts bringing the little one over again, although I knew at this point - not to become so attached, and after 2 months or so of building more quality time with what is more than 90% likely to be my own flesh and blood daughter, I suddenly hear nothing from her mother. Not a text, not a call, not a message on facebook, not a thing. She just, fell off. And thus, I have not seen my illegitimate daughter ever since. It's a few months now. I thought I was okay with this but I'm not. Man I'm just so fucking disappointed in myself and how this all turned out. I feel an emptiness in myself that only goes away with drugs. Every time I hear a pretty song, see a little girl on television, or stories about toddlers, I just want to fucking break down and bawl like a baby. My son who is currently 10 days old was just diagnosed with congenital Hypothyroidism and it's scaring the fuck out of me.
Will my son live a normal life? The doctors are saying that as long as he is treated there would not be any issues. I'm just worried.

I'm new to /adv/ but I just need help, I'm a teenager still, and I got my girlfriend pregnant, she's 6 months and I haven't told my mom, my girlfriend is the most understansing girl I have ever met, she understand why I haven't told my mom, because i have a major fear she may be mad at me. I'm the only child and dad is away and we don't have a good connection, I want to tell my mom cause I don't want to be like my dad and leave.
I'm planning to tell my mom tomorrow before my girlfriend goes in her trimester. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow and I was thinking of telling my mom before I got in there and get my braces.
