As someone who has hired under those circumstances, it can be a bit troublesome in the moment but does bode well for the prospective employee (it shows they give a shit, which is hard to find).

I mean don't get me wrong. I am a very hard worker when I feel that it is worth putting in the effort and feel my work is appreciated.
