This has been going on the three months. I thought things would get easier but they haven't. I still can't get closer to her and neither can she. We very rarely bring up how we feel and most meetups are just small talking about one's week or doing something live video games or movie. I still have trouble talking about deeper things and it just becomes very uncomfortable for me and her.

I mean she's willing to go out with me all the time and she has said she likes me but she doesn't show it. She's never complimented me or anything. She's said she's awkward and I know that, but that's making me nervous and in turn I can't get any closer to her. I just freeze up. Every meetup we have a good time but I'm left disappointed.

How are two autistics supposed to make it work? Is this relationship already doomed? Reading up on people just clicking with each other after a few talks or kissing on the third date or whatever makes me really worried.

I give off this impression, and I've had someone say it was due to my vocabulary/way of speaking. Not sure exactly how that opinion arises, but I believe it has a lot to do with how you articulate your thoughts and opinions.

You can tell even easier when someone is faking it in an effort to seem smart. However I can share a few tips for communication that can aid you:

Practice the practical aspects of communication - make eye contact, avoid use 'ums', 'uhhs', 'like' etc., don't speak too quickly or slowly. If you really struggle look into some public speaking classes or toastmasters, or at least watch some videos about it online.
Educate yourself on topical issues and take some time to develop a considered position.
Avoid speaking on things you know little about, if the conversation heads into that territory it's best to focus on listening.
Practice talking to a wide range of people, not just people who are similar to you.
Learn how to ask good questions - if a question can be answered with a yes/no, it's not a good question.

They aren't allowed to shit talk you legally, as you aren't allowed to slander them publically. You're selling your labor like a business. It's just a reference to show that you HAD A JOB SOMEWHERE. Think of it as proof.

Use fake references if it bothers you. add a fake job, and get your friend to be your pretend manager.

The point of these classes being mandatory is not to learn the actual material, but expanding your skillset. No one wants to hire someone who only knows how to program. Honestly, if you can't work that out on your own, you probably shouldn't be in college.

20 is too young to be stuck in a dead-end job. If you want to study you should be eligible for the dole, if you combine that with 5-15 hrs of work/week you should be fine financially. If that isn't enough income you need to reassess where you're living, move to a cheaper suburb or a shared house with 3-4 occupants instead of 2. Tbh if you are spending more than $300/week on rent, food and bills you need to take a look at where the money is going. Dole is $250/week straight up, plus students get mad lump-sum payments, with part time work and maybe some full time in semester breaks you should be doing fine.

I think keep applying for jobs you have at least some chance of getting, retail management experience is generally going to be looked at more favourably than fast food, plus it's a better workplace. Have a think about a career that suits you and find out what courses you need to get there then give it a go. At 20 it's hard to be certain about where you want to go but you have to try things, otherwise you'll never really know.

What is exactly the goal of this project? Are you going to charge people ir is it just a social work?

The go pro, EMS training etc IMO is way too much for whatever this thing is about, unless you live in the middle of a shithole. Just make a group on whatever messenger app you prefer and tell everybody to text the group if they plan on using the escorting thing.

It'd be used by people who are more comfortable with a student walking around with them, who don't want to be in the back of a police car for whatever reason, or who for whatever reason just aren't comfortable with the police.
Additionally, it'd be something students who either don't want to or can't join CPD, but who still wanna help in this way. It'd also help build resumes and leadership-type skills while they're going to school here. Lastly, we would walk/drive people who are drunk at parties and shit home, depending on how harsh CPD here is on alcohol (I've never been able to find out since I don't know anybody who got caught drinking).

Nah, it'd be just a service. If I got enough people interested, I'd get us all together and run it by whichever office is in charge of clubs/student organizations, plus talk to the cops (who could worry about other shit instead of dealing with people who need someone to take them home.)

I think at MOST one or two EMS-trained members would be good, just because someone might pass out drunk and hit their head outside or something, and that way there's a chance one of the members could help out. The go pro would be, in VERY dire circumstances where someone needed their ass kicked (potential rapist attacking someone they were following, someone getting mugged, etc. This campus is kinda crimey), to A: show that the member wasn't just beating some random person up for no legally good reason, and B: if someone was committing a crime, they'd be on camera. Plus if someone decided to accuse someone involved with this gig of some crime ("That escort guy raped me!" "Hey look at this spray paint on the side of this building, must be those escort kids!"), we'd have proof of whether or not it was true (again, members would be required to wear it the WHOLE time they were on shift)

This is a good idea anon, my uni has this as well. I'm sure you wouldn't have trouble finding people willing to join or even just help structure the program from an executive position. My advice is to find a few people on campus who might be interested and develop the structure from there.
