my girlfriend and I are 20. coming up on 2 years together. we're both still in university. recently shes been talking about moving in together after school. sure, im fine with it. get an apartment and pay rent. but shes talking about it more and more and escalating it to buying a home together. like, i dont even have a credit rating yet. her planning is moving too fast. ffs i feel like i could still be a 16 year old kid sometimes.
>>17766907
>her planning is moving too fast for me
Have you brought this up with her?
>>17766907
do you want to stay with her?
then tell her shes moving too fast and you want to get an apartment while you figure out life.
if you think shes moving too fast and its scared you into braeking up, go for it.
>>17766929
yea, she understands and sort of joked about how shes such a planner. i hope she isnt holding it against me tho. all she wants to know is if our futures (the way we see them) line up.
>>17766939
yea i do
>tfw you go on an autistic tirade in text to your ex
>over and over again every few months
>she keeps talking to you though
What the fuck is the meaning of this?
She laughs at your rants with her friends and new boyfriend
>>17766881
Why would I message my ex?
>>17766898
I wish it was that simple an answer.
Is sex really worth it?
They say condoms are nearly perfect.
But why roll the dice when I can just fap?
Though I feel like my fears may be irrational. I dont wanna pass up something amazing because Im too scared of what may be a very small chance of consequence
>>17766868
That's why you have sex with someone you trust
Worth what? Currency? Dignity? Time? How much do you have of each? "Is it worth it?" must be the stupidest question.
>>17766868
Not really. Unless you're starved for human contact sex is fucking meaningless.
Slower to reach orgasm, not nearly as satisfying, dependent on another person, and they bitch at you if you can't finish them off (Even if they don't bother telling you how they're doing).
>Girl was going to do something with me tonight
>She texts me saying she's having a mental breakdown from nursing, can't go
>Say okay, feel better we can do it another time
>no response
Am I fucked? She seemed really into me.
If she's having a legitimate mental breakdown, then you're being rather insensitive expecting her to reply
Like I'd fucking know. Get off the Internet.
>>17766755
I guess I am, should I ask again when her exam is over?
>>17766756
Fair point:(
So I've been texting a girl from my uni for about a week now, it was going well, we are both interested, etc. She is pretty shy though, so the only conversations I've had with her IRL have been pretty short. But now, I've tried texting her for three days straight and she hasn't responded once. She has been more antisocial since three days ago IRL too, putting her face in her phone or something whenever I try to chat. I know she's still interested (I have a friend who is her friend as well, she keeps me updated), so what the fuck is going on?
ask the friend what's going on
>>17766718
Well no shit, but I want your people's opinions first
Anons please I need to know
> make negative comment about self
> Friends: ...
> make slightly positive comment about self
> Friends: see that's wrong
What's the likelihood that I'm not a total fuck up and I'm hanging around the wrong people? I can't see anything about myself positively anymore because I'm always sure someone I care about will contradict it or disagree.
>>17766628
how the fuck should I know, I know absolutely nothing about you or your friends
>>17766628
Maybe you shouldn't clutter this board with pathetic teenager questions.
>>17766628
Maybe you should stop making comments about yourself and try commenting on other people.
Ok /adv/ due to a huge missunfderstamding, I have a months worth of writing I have to finish within 2 days starting now... how can I pull this off... (any advice about staying awake for 2 days?)
>>17766595
Lie (bribe a doctor or lie to him to get an extention). Cheat. Steal. Either way, get off /adv/ and do something.
Not an answer to your question, but if you have trouble with procrastinating, this guy has fucking genius advice

>>17766595
Can you define "a month's worth" in terms of numbers?
The best way I could think of is if you can find a few people you can truly trust to share the load.
Hi, any tips how to learn to eat more? Like when i feel like "Soons the limit" the food just doesnt go down.
are you a skellington?
>>17766598
More or less
well that Japanese guy that won those hot dog eating competitions used water to expand his stomach so he could eat more.
How do i deal with a chronic copycat that is in my circle of friends?
Make fun of them until they stop or kill themselves.
>>17766553
Find the few things "unique" to them and start obnoxiously copying them. Other than ignore it or talk to them (which most likely wont work) thats the only thing I can think of
>>17766553
You start a bunch of bullshit drama. Bam, problem solved.
Last night I consumed about a table spoon of spirulina powder in a smoothie. I've been having mild chest pains since I woke up and sometimes when I swallow it hurts. Please help me
>>17766542
I don't have any advice besides that if the pain and discomfort gets to the point where it's starting to worry you, then make an appointment with a doctor. You could even make one now just to be safe if you have insurance or the money.
>>17766542
Calm down.
If it persists after a few hours, go to ICU.
Oh hey... I feed that shit to my fish.
Can someone recommend me a good mp3 player?
I know I'm not as up to date, but I just prefer a mp3 player to my phone.
Unfortunately my fell and broke today and need a new one.
Suggestions?
hard saying man, everyone is raging about cloud storage and streaming these days, downloading tracks aint what it used to be.
>>17766489
yah i know. no one seems to use just mp3 players anymore. :(
>>17766486
Anything cheap that gets decent user reviews. The "good" mp3 players are phones now or enthusiast (read: expensive) items.
SanDisk used to make decent, barebones players for cheap. Don't know if they still do.
Want to begin playing keyboards/synthesizer. What is my best choice of buying one if I want a sound like Devo/Rush/Ministry on a budget of $300-500? Is it possible?
do you already know how to play the keys?
>>17766514
Si, I already understand music theory and I originally played some piano in early childhood. I'm transitioning from Guitar.
I mean, yeah. You could get away with pretty much any sound with a 300$ keyboard and a laptop.
Make sure the keys have pressure and attack sensitivity.
Rolands and Casios are good and durable in my experience.
Make sure your keyboard is robust if you plant to tour with it.
Avoid plastics. And buy a stand you are gonna need it.
I'm currently studying (freshman year) computer science and I hate it, can't keep up.
I really like drawing or creating videos and shit like that, so I want to drop out of college and apply next year to maybe graphic design.
My question is: is it worth it? Computer science would get me a well paying job while graphic design (or other art majors) is more risky and I wouldn't get paid that much.. Should I go for it? My parents would be really dissapointed
>>17766454
Don't. Suck it up.
It's an opportunity to get to know your classmates, TA, profs. Ask help from them.
Ask them how did they study, etc. If you have problems with study, try Cal Newport.
Keep your artsy stuff as a hobby for now.
If you don't have a passion or a knack for a field of study, then it's going to have difficulty sticking.
You've probably been thinking about it for a long time, so to you it might be clear that you just want to drop it and move on, but if you want to avoid disappointing your parents over it then talk with them about it BEFORE you drop it. You don't need their support, but if you're worried about being a disappointment, you do clearly want it.
Don't do graphic design, it's an easy course for non artsy folks and the market it flooded. Art degrees are fine though.
If I want something that's impossible hard enough, will it materialize into existence? If I spend 30 years meditating, and try to force such a thing to happen through sheer willpower the whole time, will it appear before me?
If it was impossible then it's not possible.
>>17766448
Then how do I attain it?
Maybe if you're lucky you'll go insane and somehow convince yourself that you have what you dream of.
Most likely you'll end up depressed over all the time that you've wasted.
If you want something and you're willing to spend 30 years thinking about it, you might as well try your best to get it?
How long does the average fuck session last for you? I mean actual fucking not including foreplay.
Because I've been having all this anxiety that I don't go long enough or i can't keep up my erection for long enough, but i usually fuck my girl for about 20-40 minutes, sometimes an hour.
I decided to goggle it and apparently according ot several studies the average time is 5 minutes!
that is surely bullshit, so I figured I'd ask the people of advice.
>>17766428
>timing your sex
idk man
i just eat her out or finger he until she cums, then i crawl on top of her and thrust away
>>17766438
Just a brief look at my watch when i start and when i end.
