My boyfriend and I have had many problems the last few months, because he is very paranoid and does not trust me at all. We have been living together over 3 months and been together over a year. From the beginning of the relationship, he told me that he thinks it’s too good to be true so he was afraid it wasn’t real, and that he feels like I deserve someone better than him. Therefore, I went all my way to show him exactly how special he is to me.
He is extremely suspious about everyone I talk to, especially boys. I am a boy-girl so my friendship with boys are much more stable and easy, while girls always ends up fighting. Also my family have moved around a lot, so I don’t have any friends who have known me for more than 5 years.
I still get new friends, girls as well as boys, but the boys keep in touch, and with the girls I have to start every conversation. Some of the boys have been really good friends when my boyfriend wasent in my life, so we send kissing and heart emojis, and call each other baby or darling. its never anything sexual, no exes or anything like that, and nothing have ever happened between us. The ones he suspects the most even have girlfriends!
Still, my boyfriend got so paranoid he started reading my conversations on facebook, and found some flirting messages with a boy I do not even like, almost a year ago, when we had broken up.
Now I have stopped talking with many of my closest friends, I do not start a single conversation with a boy, I haven’t met anyone without my bf, and he can check my phone anytime and read any conversation.
And it still gets worse! There is nothing I can say or do that will make him trust me, he said himself.
Is it my fault or is he insecure and paranoid? He constantly accuses me of cheating, even with his closest friends. Yeah I lied to him about the flirting, but he have also lied about some of his shit. Shouldn’t he be able to forgive and forget? It’s not like I have cheated.

Hey /adv/isors,

I have an issue regarding my current uni course and personal life mixed into one big issue.

I have been with my girlfriend for 5 years and we were looking to move into a place together, as we both finish uni this year.

However, if I graduate this year, I will only get an ordinary bachelors degree, rather than a bachelors with honours.

The issue is, I am not enjoying myself at my university anymore. It feels like I am just wasting time here at this uni, so I just kind of want to move out with the gf and get a job, as I'd hold a degree.

I am being advised by others, to stay and 'at least do the honours degree'.

Personally, if I was to do an honours degree, I'd probably look to do postgrad at a different university (probably up at Aberdeen) and just stick it out until I get some pretentious sounding degree, and explore career options from there.

I really don't know what to do.

Has anyone had any success on SA? recently signed up for seeking arrangements. For some reason, almost no one will message me, the one guy that replied was not interested. I've dedicated myself to make it happen. She's a wonderful, sweet and feminine girl, but her low self esteem and inability to love herself is holding her down. She's been having thyroid problems from a young age, and thus she always had problems with her weight which hindered her self esteem and turned her to temporary become a butch lesbian.
