I am working on it. I've been reading PUA shit for a while and doing what I can to be more social. I've also been going to the gym for near enough 2 years now but I'm still skeleton-mode.

I neglected to go to the doctor because I thought it was no big deal.

Turns out since I waited too long, my hand had healed "incorrectly" and needed expensive surgery to fix.

The reason I'm so iffy on the second paragraph is two parts.

I don't know if mentioning a close family members death would make the commity reading this feel akward. I'll openly admit I have a hard time understanding how people react to shit.

Secondly I the last thing I want to do is sell my fathers death to get pity points and this kind of feels like its what I'm doing, even though it really is a huge part of what motivated me go to graduate school. and hes huge reason I am where I am right now.

Meh, a lot of female friends and family members tend to come to me for relationship advice quite a bit, but I would never do the inverse.

Generally they seem to like that I "give them no bullshit" and that the seem to think that their female friends are sabotaging them.

For example, a friend tends to ask her sister first for advice, but her sister is a jealous bitch and always tells her something negative regardless of the situation.
