So 3 nights ago, I made a ad on Craigslist Personals. It was me stating I am a younger guy, 24 looking for an older lady for a real relationship.
A little bit about me I am 24, I am 5'6" kinda white, kinda skinny, havnt had sex in like 3 years. I do work, drive all that.
She has a full time job as well lives 30 mins away. She is black and looks like the picture.
Things are going I told her I want to chat with her for like a week till I meet her, so I guess I will set a date for next weekend.
I have never done anything like this before. I kinda did it because I never thought anything would come out of it. But I did it for my kink.
If anyone has an advice for me on how to go through with this, or if I am going to regret this.
If anyone has any constructive advice for me, It would be appreciated.

How can i forget about Catholicism?
Since i've been a child, i have lived in fear about God, Jesus and everything about it. Especially about ghosts and demons to the point of not being able to sleep. Even becoming an atheist has not worked for me. Can someone give me an advise for this problem?

Hi /adv/, first of all: Happy New Year. I was at a friends small house party (~12 people) this New Years Eve. Before I went in I surprisingly met my ex who, apparently, was invited too.
I didn't know about that, but that's no problem. I broke up with her a little over a year ago. We were together for two years. I know the reason why we broke up, and I fixed those flaws in the meantime. I asked her if we could stay friends (desperation after the breakup) but eventually manned up and didn't talk to her since exactly New Years Eve 1 year ago (Text message). While we were apart she was together with a 'friend' of mine for a few moths. But I know him. He's an unhygienic social retard, never had anything with a girl and I heard from a conversation today that she 'just feigned something', idk if the reason for that is to make me mad or to get money/presents out of the guy (she said she got 120€ iTunes gift cards from him after the brakup that she ffels guilty about and wants to return to him); idk and I don't really care. We weren't together, she can do what she wants. I'm not friends with that guy any more though.
Now for the reason why I post this here: Even though I barely had any feelings for my ex the past year, I was kind of pleasently surprised, maybe even a little happy when I met her again after a year. We enjoyed drinks at the party, talked a little about superficial stuff and had fun. We hugged and wished eachother a happy new year. Idk, I kind of feel like approaching her again, relationship-wise. Do you have any advice/opinions, /b/?

A girl gave me her email on the last day of class after we spent about 3 hours talking. I sent a pretty bad email(a joke but apparently not a good one) and a better one. She responded to the good email 4 days after (the day before Christmas Eve) and I responded the day after Christmas. That was 5 days ago.
Should I send her an email wishing her Happy New Years and maybe ask if she wants to switch to google hangouts or schedule a meetup for the 9th(when classes begin)?
Her not responding is making me anxious.

Idk where you live, but WiFi is usually not free or unlimited at libraries and cafes. Plus there's only so much entertainment you can get off the internet. And what happens when they're closed?

why are you doing this? to what end? for how long?
buffets are a bad idea. saying 'dont eat the unhealthy stuff' takes pretty much everything off the menu except for salad. they also have 2 to 3 hour limits, so if you're hungry more than once a day you're fucked. though you could easily come in to get your main meal and snack throughout the day.
you'd be better off just getting food from a groccery store though. fruits and veggies grow in the ground so they dont actually require a cold temperature. we like our veggies cold, but it is by no means required, and even if they were its likely pretty codl wherever you are so they shoudl sit fine. worst case scenario you only buy apples and maybe bananas for the long term and you can just buy whatever else you feel like eating day of.
canned fruit is also an option, just get it soaked in juice and not syrup, juiced ones have only about 20 more calories per serving (so 60 per can). and if you're on a mostly natural diet here more calories arent exactly bad.
speaking of which, how fucking cold is it where you're going to be? you may think its no problem but after a few days of cold you might wanna kill yourself.

Why do guys take everything from girls so personally? Not just what you say to them, but apparently ignoring them also.
I had a guy friend I really cared about. But I became so busy that I unintentionally procrastinated returning his text and Facebook messages. I was just trying to focus on work and school that it took up all of my time.
But then when I did see him in person, he started to act weirder and weirder; almost like he was avoiding me. I tried to press him for it, but he would say it was nothing -- prompting me to not push further.
But then the last time I saw him, he asked what he did wrong, and if he's making me uncomfortable. I was so confused, and repeatedly told him "no." He then went on that with my lack of replies, I kept dropping hints that I wanted nothing to do with him, and it was increasingly making him too uncomfortable to keep in touch with me. I tried to convince him that I wasn't dropping any hints, and if something was wrong I would've addressed it to him personally. But he wouldn't have it, and felt there was just too many red flags to warrant continuing a friendship. And despite trying so desperately to talk him out of it, he just ended the friendship right then and there and walked away. Took me off Facebook and social media and everything. It already seems clear that I've lost him for good.
What a shitty way to start off the new year. :(

I've been in a relationship with a great, loving girl who is Christian. I am an Atheist, and we are fine with our differences. However;
Just before we met, she used to pray with friends and then said she actually saw things that God showed her. While praying like that she says she has a real connection with him and she could see things like a gate.
To me, things like that are quite distressing. Seeing things that aren't there seems to me like a risk for mental problems. And I am worried. I tried bringing it up but she says I have no reason to worry and feels a bit attacked on her religion.
Is this dangerous, am I in the right for pressing this issue? She still thinks she really saw it, and when I asked her to not do it again she said if she will have the chance she will do it again.
What are your thoughts? Am I overreacting?
