Hey /adv/. I owe the state of kansas just under 12000 dollars. This debt is from the year 2012. What are my options about having this problem go away.. I was an intern at my company, did very well, got a good review, but I didn't get a full-time offer automatically. I still had to apply. And trust me, I did everything I could within my power to do well. I worked free overtime, always did things and added extra effort, made a lot of friends in the workplace, etc.
After applying, I got an interview, thought I did well enough, but apparently I was not "as good" as the other applicants (people were hired above me have never even worked in the company ever).
Instead they gave me a temporary contract. Obviously I felt like shit and this felt like a fucking slap on the face.
Worked for a year being a fucking temp. Positions opens up again for the full time job, so I applied again, but this time I got in.
Here's my problem. I can't help but feel like the first time I applied and got rejected still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I know, I'm being a bitch or whatever, but I have pride too. I took the job obviously; however, here is where I need real advice: is this company worth working for? I keep feeling like I should keep looking for a different job regardless of job security, benefits, pay, etc.
What do you guys think?

I'm trying to get back at my friend who thinks it's funny to drive to my house and let his dog shit in my yard, and I've ordered police lights to attach to my truck to pull him over at night. I've collected his dog shit so when I approach the car ne and another friend can empty it onto his windshield. My question is though, it's illegal in my state to impersonate a police vehicle. Should I pull him over on a dirt road? I'd think that'd be less authentic, would a cop even care or come over to investigate the lights?

Lately I have been masturbating with coconut oil.

Can someone tell me what the deal is with STEM majors?
Why do students in these fields, especially engineering kids, feel the burning desire to bully anybody who dares to pick a career path that isn't related to science, math or medicine? Yeah, we get that those fields have high-paying jobs, and you happen to work in a field based on a subject you enjoy. Good for you.
But unlike other people, they need to tell everyone and their monkey's uncle that their major and career is so much more superior to literally any other job. Does is occur to these people that not everybody enjoys math or science?
