how do I not get fucking annoyed by my little swagfag brother? he literally does nothing but smoke weed(in our parents basement) play video games, and listens to rap music. he has friends that have a "studio" and he's tryna "get in to spit some verses" needless to say we live in a very wealthy area and he's a spoiled little cunt. I try avoiding them but the desire to bash his head in is growing. what do?

The question isn't so much how to be confident. I have read up enough on that. I realized I have to actually beleive I have a nice face. To say "well he's not the most handsome guy but he has a deep caring heart and a clever intellect" to be truly confident with women, I have to believe I have an attractive face too. So how do I stop thinking of myself as ugly?

Have any of you ever gone to a kinky class or meetup? My and my girlfriend have a lot of kink in our sex, and she suggested dipping our toes into that community even if just to learn something new.

For some reason it set off a huge landslide of insecurity in me. I'm scared that we'll go to a class and she'll find someone better than me and scooped up, or she'll have some kind of awakening that will make us sexually incompatible. It's probably crazy talk, but it's where my mind went and I don't like that.

Anyone have experience in this?

like i have a lot of negative self talk and intrusive thoughts it is really annoying and coupled with where my life is at it's the worst. sometimes i have pretty intense mood changes throughout the day as well and like I feel great but i can never manage to maintain this for very long. when I am by myself/ not in public i like yell at myself and even talk to myself not like conversations but like insult myself and i also dwell over this really bad experience i had and I honestly think sometimes that everybody in the whole city knows about it and people talk about me and are talking about me sometimes and I have lately also been getting really strong feelings of guilt over some of my actions and sometimes i feel like i am being persecuted by the ghosts of the people that i think wouldn't have died if it wasn't for me because of me but that isn't really very often mostly i am just concerned about HOW DO I STOP having terrible thoughts about myself every time i am by myself?????

How long can you keep a pair of contacts?

How do you clean them?

Can i keep them in a plastic bag?
Glass of water?

Can contacts become sticky or merge with the cornea?

I use distilled water to lubricate my eyes atm.
Will it make the contacts rip my cornea?
Or reduce risk of bacteria?

Allergy?

Hi, /adv/, I'm wondering what you have to say about this.

So, I've been friends with a woman for a few months and all was good...I ended up asking her out to a date two weeks ago, and she gave an enthusiastic "yes." The day before the date, we hung out, and we ended up expressing strong mutual feelings for eachother...it goes awesome, and we have what was the best date I've ever had. We even plan a second date and make plans for future stuff we'll do.

Forward about a week to last night: we see eachother after I got off work, and things get heady, and it leads to almost sex: but she backed off, then wanted to have sex, backed off, then decided she wanted sex again within a couple minutes....we end up having sex, and she definitely seemed to enjoy it, but I could tell something was off about her immediately after. We ended up having sex again later though, which she seemed totally fine with.

Now this evening she told me she only wants to be friends. I'm heartbroken. What could have happened that made her feel so completely differently from the sex to where she lost ALL romantic feelings for me? What can I do to try to patch things up where she could give me another chance?

Quick version: What's the fine line between stalking and trying to learn about someone?

Long version:
>Interested in guy at my gym.
>9/10, highly athletic
>Is confusing as hell
>Between sets, death stares or starts dancing and lip syncing.
>Pretty sure he doesn't know I exist
I tried to catch his eye, but he generally seems to not see other people in the gym.
>It's usually only us and maybe two other people at that time of day.
What's really stopping me is the golden rule. I hate being hit on at the gym, so I don't feel right trying to make a pass at him at the gym. I also get the feeling he really doesn't want to be disturbed. So how far can I go trying to "run into" him outside of the gym?

So I'm a very sensitive guy who get's attached too quickly to girls, I feel so devastated when I find out they don't have an interest in me or have boyfriends. How do I not get attached to girls at all?

Fuck all that "do it for yourself" feel good bullshit. I want to compete against someone. I need to beat someone. I get my validation from besting another man in a physical competition. From outperforming my peers. From getting the admiration and wet vaginas of women.

Fuck that zen "look within" bullshit. I'm looking outwards and I want to win and be the fucking best.


Since I can't be the 4.0 STEM major all star D1 athlete who fucked loads of girls since the college days have recently ended, how do I become a badass at life and defeat other people?

Hey /adv/. I've got an eating disorder and it's been harder to deal with than usual lately. Do any of you that have struggled with this have any advice on how to talk yourself into eating? I've been sitting in front of my dinner for probably an hour without touching it. I'm just not hungry, food isn't appetizing anymore, I'm scared of food. Feels bad :^(

This is admittedly a silly issue, but I'm hoping someone can help. My husband and I have recently started to read chapters of a book to one another at night, which is nice and gives us something to talk about in the morning — problem is, he can't read aloud for shit. It bothers me beyond belief. If there is a word he cannot figure out in under a second he will either move on, make up a new word, or say something similar with "fuck," added in. He doesn't have dyslexia, he's just impatient and won't sound out the syllables.

Let's say this is a line he's reading:

"The substantial claim that had been put to thought was unremarkable at best."

He will interpret it as:
"The... the substances claim that was put in thoughts is, uh, fuck not interesting."

I don't want to hurt his feelings, how do I approach this? I swear he can read fine, and we have pretty engaging text conversations, so I know he has a wide vocabulary. It just seems like he's a very impatient reader when we do this. I suspect that he may just be nervous about getting to interesting parts of the story, or reading out loud in front of someone but it's ruining things for both of us, since what he reads really doesn't make much sense.

Like I said, it's dumb but it's driving me up a wall. Maybe I should just read to him? It was his idea, that this would be something cute we do for one another before we sleep but it's just made me squirm, and made him antsy to finish.

Obvious suggestions I see coming are 1.) Just don't do it. (He wants to keep going, I've asked already.) 2.) read separately (he won't, I read much faster than he does and he wants us to be on the same page/share this together in an engaging way.) and 3.) JUST TELL HIM (well, how? I don't really have that much social grace, and you guys don't either but a few extra ideas won't hurt.)

So, if anyone can help I'm all ears.
