I'm pretty passive as I am, so why is it that people feel the need to hurt my feelings? I feel like the space I create between us causes them anxiety so they lash out at me in weird ways. People say the most harsh things sometimes and I don't know why.
I think I might start documenting whenever someone says something bad to me. Should I take it up with HR everytime someone is offensive?

I'm a 5/10 and look like the average /r9k/ poster. I've tried hitting on girls my league but they all rejected me.
Somehow I sometimes get attention from 9/10s . At first I tought they're just joking with me but this keeps happening. They're even the ones hitting on me but everytime I sperged out and missed my chances.
Lately some girl I know from uni (only said hi to her while walking to class nothing more) sat next to me in course a week ago. She introduced herself and we talked for 30 min before class started.

I'm a gamer. I collect games. I'm 28 and I've gotten far ahead in my life all thanks to gaming, in terms of education, jobs and social life.
Yet my parents fail to understand all of this. They consider gaming to be a kids thing. They tell me constantly that you should grow up, that's just mindless waste of time. Sell out your old games. Yet they are borderline slot machine addicts, playing for hours upon hours almost daily.
Right now i'm in their house helping to pack up belongings and throwing out old stuff due to an upcoming house sale and brought my PS4 with me. Now, I have put it to their TV, yet they haven't noticed. The only time I feel "ok" to play it is when they are out of the house. This is, to say the least, outright ridiculous.
Any advice or comments on this? I though this would end after I moved out, but even after becoming a selfsustained adult and paying for this stuff on my own, I feel like my parents are acting unsupportive towards my choices.

This is a generational difference. Gaming is something that didn't exist as such back in when your parents were young. They didn't grow into it. I'm assuming they got your first games/gaming systems for you when you were a kid, so that's why they associate it with childishness. You can't really convince them otherwise, because of your different life experiences. At the best, just say it's your hobby and you'd appreciate it if they let you unwind the way you see fit. There's no point in wasting breath arguing about it.

My boyfriend is 34 and I'm 24. I don't want them now but I'm 75% sure I want kids eventually. I knew he wasn't crazy about the idea but I broached the subject last night and he says in the 4 years we've been together he's not warmed up to the idea at all.

Long story short, I like a girl that friend zoned me awhile back.
I want to try dating her again. Is that I have stuff like a car and a way to get around. Before I had no job and no transport when I had asked her out last. Now I have a good job and a car finally.

I don't where to ask for health advices since I don't lurk outside my usual boards, so I'm asking here because I need an answer kinda fast: A boil just grew on my back yesterday and it's been hurting a little, some people told me to just leave it there until it comes out, other to use some home made products, but I don't really know what to do. The thing is that I have tickets for a gig tonight and I've been waiting for it for months, the crowd in the gig is kinda violent, so my question is: Is it dangerous for the boil to be pushed or punched? Would it burst and have bad consecuences? Should I cure it now? I would really appreciate some help.

22 year old male, no friends, never gf, and no family for about a thousand miles.only place i don't feel like shit is at work, therefore i want to be at work more.
