I just found out that several people that I considered to be friends/acquaintances have been shit talking about me behind my back in a chatroom when they thought I wasn't there, including several people that I respected and thought were standup guys.
One of them even went so far as to edit chat logs to make it look like he was on my side and helping me, when in reality all he said was "fuck, OP is PMing me again", and then lied to me again when I asked if he had been honest with me so far. I caught another guy lying and pretending to be on my side, and several others have basically stopped short of outright lying by being very vauge and evasive.
Several others have at least made it clear they want to cut off all contact by blocking me, but I'm confused as to why these guys are lying to me and pretending to be on my side when all they are doing is shit talking about me behind my back. Its really manipulative, except that theres nothing for them to gain by doing this.
I should add that these guys are mostly in their late twenties/early thirties, so we aren't talking about some shitty teenagers here (physically at least), but boy, the stuff they have been saying when they thought I wasn't there has been incredibly childish and stupid. Pretty much the kind of insults you see teenagers use.
What do you do when you discover that people whom you thought were your friends/acquaintances have been lying and putting up a facade the entire time, and shit talking about you behind your back?

These aren't random strangers, they are part of a niche community group thing that I have been part of for years. If it was random strangers I wouldnt give a shit, but for guys that I have known for years to lie to me, shit talk behind my back and manipulate me to make themselves look good really hurts.

Hi anon. I failed clac in year one of college. Like you I freaked at first but I retook it in the 2nd semester.
Depending on your uni, you could take it in the summer or at night too. Though I was really close with the chair at my school and she let me do this and let me take the other courses that needed calc as a pre-request course.
I'd try not to panic failing one course isn't the end of the world and is more common than you think. As long as you got a good gpa I wouldn't worry about it, my school GPA was a huge, you'd be kicked out if you had a low gpa or demoted to a lower standing major.

Why do I do this?
Everytime I get into a relationship with a 10/10 girl that comes from a good healthy functional family, which also posses quite some wealth, I want to break up with her. I'm currently with a girl 99% of men would die for (she is working as a student bartender and I can't even walk into that bar on friday/saturday night, because my blood boils when I see other guys hitting on her, but I can't really do anything other than get into trouble and fight = law suit = money..).
I'm 20 and have been depressed ever since elementary school, also bipolar and can't stand my own company, because the thoughts I posses kill me and drain me unimaginable. I would say I look very handsome/good since I've been with a woman that was less than 8/10, also thanks to my unique personality. However, I come from dysfunctional family and just living right now is hard, I've been having suicide thoughts for 5 years at least, but will never do suicide. It's like I'm attracted to death/saddness at this point and I can't stand happy people that are just in love with life (like my girlfriends have been until now).
I went to doctor 3 years ago and he said I have chronic depression and to visit psychiatrist (I never did ofc). I'm afraid of going to psychiatrist, because I'm sure he will find out I have a lot of other mental problems that are interconnected with depression.
Sometimes I just wish I could cry out myself to girlfriend but I can't. I haven't cried in years, because I can't. Everything I feel is completely numb and just part of my misreable life.
I can't even feel my partner, even though we have/had amazing sex with all of them. I'm great lover, but never feel emotional connection or bond.
