I figured that to gain value, you must sell something. You need to have something that other people need. Not exactly sure how entrepreneurship works. Do I need to connect with a bunch of people?

I feel ya, I relapsed too.
I was doing very well, dropped from 180 to 120 over the course of 3 years. My goal was always to be between 100 and 115 though. I was at 120 for all of like a month before I began to relapse and started binging. Here I am now almost at 140 again, seriously disgusted with myself and how I lost control. I'm starting to pick up the pieces again. Once I hit 138 I slapped some sense into myself and I weighed in at 134 today. I made my goal 130 by the end of the month. Next month it'll be 125. Just gotta get back on the horse. Gotta get that will power to just drive past the fast food, and once you get home stay home. Keep your phone off ya so you aren't tempted to order in either. Keep yourself busy with something and fill yourself with low calorie but filling foods. Eat many small meals instead of 3 big ones.

The time to make friends in college is like, 19-22. You'd be going into college with kids much younger than you, you won't have much in common with them.

You'd be better off talking to coworkers, joining special interest groups around your town with people closer to your age, or just plain talking to people at random whenever you feel the urge to.

I ice skate regularly, had tonnes of friends at the rink I used to go to, moved cities, made tonnes more friends at the new rink.

There is really nothing else you can do until she actually does something. You can start writing down the shit she does so when she puts a tack on your chair you'll have something substantial to bring to your boss, and you can say that you made an effort to handle it yourself

I think we've all been there. First, be grateful. Be grateful of everything that you have, not many have the chance to study. It sounds stupid, but love and know yourself. Search for new hobbies and activities you might like. Try to choose those with social interaction and just live life. It might be difficult at the beginning, but people are usually not as crappy as we think they are. Try to make friends in uni, smile and strike up a casual conversation.

Hey thanks for taking the time to respond. I agree that it's good to be thankful and I'd like to think I am. It just sucks when Friday night comes around and there is nobody to go hang with. I talk to people at my university and have some positive interactions but truthfully I feel like it would be a faux pas to try to make friends with people who are likely 10 years younger than I am. Also I don't really know how to make friends. Every friend I've ever had we just kinda fell into a relationship because we went to school together or played some online game. I also seem to creep out or otherwise make feel uncomfortable every girl I take an interest in. It just seems like I'm so far behind the curve and I don't even know how to begin catching up.
