Hey /adv/

I had unprotected sex with a girl from tinder almost two weeks ago, and I'm convinced I contracted an STD, I'm just not sure which one it could be. Here are my symptoms:

>Stinging sensation when I urinate.

This symptom came very suddenly right when I woke up about 5 days after the sex. It stings when the stream first leaves my urethra, but not after for the rest of the time that I urinate.

>redness around urethra

I first noticed the redness when the stinging sensation started, except it wasn't all the way around my urethra, only around the bottom. Redness spread completely around my urethra after ejaculating about days later.

>Soreness

This symptom did not start until a few days ago. (about 10 days after the sex) I have a sore feeling in my pelvic area on the left side, and in my left testicle. It is just a very uncomfortable feeling, not pain. This feeling comes and goes throughout the day. I have yet to experience pain in my pelvic area and testicle simultaneously.

As of today, (12 days after sex, 7 after noticing the redness and stinging) the redness around my urethra has significantly decreased and the stinging sensation has become far less intense to where it is no longer painful. As these two symptoms started to get better, the soreness began and has progressively gotten worse over the past few days.

I went to a clinic to get tested a few days ago and have yet to hear my results. What do you guys think?

Gonna start with mine in no particular order

>be me
>live on campus at college
>fairly facially attractive and can carry on a conversation fairly well
>stay in room all day except when I'm cooking in the kitchen
>on good speaking terms with a lot of people but no real friends
>don't really like spending money so I don't go out drinking a lot
>ego varies between being really high and incredibly insecure

I feel like I could be doing so much more but I'm not, if people could weigh in that'd be awesome

Okay /adv/, I have a girlfriend who can be really attatched and controlling. I asked her if I could play a game for a day (Overwatch comp season 4) and not spend time in my discord server that day. She got really upset and now wont talk to me. This happens with different situations with her every few days. What do I do?

Bit the bullet and agreed to watch Fifty Shades of Grey with my girlfriend.

Can someone please explain to me honestly, how anyone could enjoy the cringey expressionless acting that seems unbelievably forced? My girlfriend loved it, I am to the point of being irrationally angry about her loving it because of how absolute shit it is.

How long into a relationship should you start seriously thinking about marriage (as in, getting engaged)?

I'd say 2-3 years, but my girlfriend says 4-5+. I find dating for 5 years then having a six month to a year engagement period to be ridiculous. We're both willing to compromise here so it's not like a major issue or anything, but how long do you think a couple should be dating before they start seriously thinking about getting engaged?

My dad died yesterday. We were so close and became so distant the past 2 years, due to drugs. I feel profound sadness over his death, the last thing i said was not kind, the last thing i did was not kind, and now he is dead, and i am so sad. All my past relationships crashed due to my awful behavior and fucked up emotions.
Currently met someone new, someone that as a person I like way more than anyone before, we have a ton in common and she is better than any other girl I've ever met. I really don't want to ruin this. So i'm seeking advice on a topic I cannot find really anything about on the net, so this website is my last attempt at digging up anything about this topic with hopefully some first hand experience.

So im leaving the the united states of america.

I live in Florida and I'm planning on leaving this upcoming year to south america, more exactly my native country of Argentina.
I plan on living there for the rest of my life, since my parents live there now again ever since returning when the housing bubble exploded.
basically all my family is from Argentina.

Like me, they don't ever plan on returning.
here is the catch, I don't simply want to jump on a plane and leave this country with only my B.S.c, As i think i can get more out of it than that.

I am here to ask if it would be possible to apply for a credit card (or multiple) and max them out before I leave. selling away everything I buy and taking out the biggest loan I can get in cash lets say one week before I depart.

Again, I don't ever, ever plan on returning to this country, nor do I plan on working here or planning to travel back here for business or luxury at all in the future.

My future is in Argentina with my family and relatives and friends back home and I am looking to buy a house and get married there. Still, in the light of recent political events that I don't want to get involved in discussing here I feel as if this country has turned it's back on me and
this being a perfect opportunity to leave with the last laugh. not to mention I won't be paying off my student loans.

See my uncle back home told me that he can set me up with a new bank account there and new DNI (like a SSN for Argentina) so that all my funds and everything is untouched there once I return.

my question

1. Can U.S. customs officials stop me from returning if I have debt here in the U.S.? Multiple sites told me opposing information and I'm hoping someone has first hand experience returning overseas with debt on them.

The other day at a party some girl was hitting on me, but on the way back to her place she casually mentioned how the way I dressed intimidated me. I dress somewhat like left in picture.
